The staff are very friendly, welcoming and anticipating the guests’ every need. Comfortable beds! And the restaurant was something else! Amazing gastronomical experience! We cannot fault it.

• FRANCES (10/5): A beautiful mothers day treat in Milan - The staff were all so kind and welcoming . We stayed for 4 nights and were very comfortable. We had breakfast each morning and this was very pleasant and beautifully presented. The staff were so kind to us each morning and we loved our stay. The hotel kindly moved us to a room with twin beds as we are mum and daughter. My dauggter used the little gym each day and we also used the spa and treated oursrlves to facials . This was also splendid. We were able to walk into Milan easily and there were lots of public transport links . The door men always welcomed us back when we returned in the evening. The noise from the road was quite loud so we had to keep the windows closed.

• Jennifer (10/5): Well managed, beautiful and comfortable hotel - This was our second time to stay at Chateau Monfort and we were once again impressed with the quality of the hotel including the professional and courteous staff. Our room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely. One morning I had to take a train before the breakfast hours and the staff prepared a breakfast box for me to take away. It was perfect! We visit Milan often and this will be our go-to hotel! We also enjoyed the spa and the Diptyque toiletries, and boxes of water provided! No complaints. Wish I took more photos to share.

Nuestra habitación que daba a la plaza de una dimensión normal,con un servicio de limpieza maravilloso. La ubicación no es céntrica pero hay tranquilidad. Pasamos 8 dias allí y la atención fue excelente. El "pero" que le pondría es que en recepción el personal, a excepción de un recepcionista, no hablaban casi ninguno en español y eso es un hándicap para las personas como mi esposo que si no estaba yo no podía comunicarse. Considero que un hotel de 5 estrellas además de la lengua propia deben tener personal plurilingue porque facilita las cosas a los huéspedes. El inglés es fundamental pero el español es la segunda lengua mas hablada del mundo.Es simplemente una sugerencia. Por lo demás,tuvimos una estancia tranquila y acorde a lo que esperábamos Muchas gracias por el servicio prestado. Reciban un cordial saludo. • Arzu (9/5): Very good hotel for a family vacation in Milan - Breakfast was average... Nothing special to appreciate. Room was excellent, the staff was exceptional... Location is very good. Fitness facilities are well beyond my expectations. Tiny room in the basement with one running treadmill, one stationary bike, one rowing machine, one bench... And a single rack with several dumbbells (the heaviest was of 14 kg) under the staircase. However, a small fridge with bottled water and face towels was a positive thing to note.

• Robert (9/5): I hotel worth experiencing. - The location for me was great . Right on a tram line as well as the Tube . An easy 30 minute walk to the Duomo. The property itself was stunning . A reason that it has a 5 star rating. The staff were welcoming from the men at the front door to all the desk staff and dining room staff . I had a massage after all the travel . It was a smart move on my part after long travel . My one regret is that I didn’t take better advantage of the spa and pool . I hope to return to check that box . The only thing that caught me off guard was a €9.00 charge above and beyond the cost of the breakfast buffet when I asked for an omelette instead of eating the chafing dish scrambled eggs. Anyone who travel expects these variations on eggs is standard and included in the breakfast price . I’m told it was explained on the menu, but I never saw a menu . I know this is a small thing but one that I think is worth noting to the hotel considering they offer such a great service all around in all other areas .

• Shelly (8/5): Great location but the suites do not have any windows to look out - The Spa was beautiful and breakfast was plentiful and varied the staff all so incredibly helpful and courteous they were brilliant and the hotel is immaculately clean and well presented. the presence of the new metro station right outside the hotel door is perfect for accessing everything that Milan has to offer we booked a suite one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel but sadly the room was in the rafters so no windows to look out just 2 velux windows in the roof which was disappointing it was spacious but that did not make up for the lack of outlook the other thing is that all of the furniture in the bar, restaurant/breakfast room is either very old or re done and it does not lend itself to being at all ‘comfortable’ i think it all needs to be replaced to make the areas more inviting and comfortable. The weather was great but the only outside space is a roof terrace looking down onto the bar with even more very uncomfortable metal chairs situated there and no outlook onto the street or plazza and for all of these reasons sadly this is a hotel i would not stay at again or recommend to others

Our room was very comfortable and spacious with beautiful furnishings and amenities. Chateau Monfort is outside of the center (ZTL zone) but all the great shopping is within the walking distance. The train station and tram are right outside the hotel. I really can't think of anything I didn't like. I have seen some reviews about the noise from the tram/train. If your room faces the front, which ours did, you do hear it throughout the night but the with the doors closed it sounds like thunder so it wasn't an issue.
