Guest Reviews

- Helen (7/5): Would recommend for the location but steep stairs and parking were challenging - Great location for exploring Hobart! The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. My Dad who is 70 and fairly fit and healthy struggled with the very steep stairs to the bedrooms, I would have liked to have this info in the description. The parking was also challenging, very awkward spot, so we ended up parking on the street half the time. Bathroom was freezing! It was winter but very drafty at the back side of the house even with the towel heated rail and the living room fire on. Generally good but could be some small improvements to make it feel more cosy.
- Kathryn (10/5): What a fantastic bolthole for our 4 night stay in Hobart. We will be back in October. - Everything from the views & proximity to the centre of town to the creature comforts on offer. Absolutely nothing
- Christine (10/5): Loved it and would definitely stay again. - Loved the location, walking distance of bakery, coffee, hotels, bars and shopping. The stairs in the property are steep and felt unstable.
- Agnès (8/5): Vintage. - L’emplacement. L’authenticité du lieu.
- Judi (7/5): Overall a pleasant stay and good shower. - Its position Very steep stairs. Managed them but needed to be very careful. Needs to be mentioned in advertising . Wifi was very weak and inconsistent and very low security . Adequate kitchen facilities but quality of crockery could be improved. Property lacked personal touches.
- Jessica (10/5): - We had quite a big car so could not fit in the car space behind the house and had to street park instead. Maybe let future people know about size and access to car park space :)
- Karl (10/5): Lovely cottage in beautiful Battery Point. - Lovely place, very clean and comfortable and great location close to the Salamanca markets and the harbour. Battery Point area is beautiful. There was nothing to dislike, this is a lovely cottage, steep stairs need a little care, but not an issue for us.

- kate (8/5): Handy spot and lovely unique terrace - Lovely place in top location We were there for our 25th wedding anniversary which was known at booking. No acknowledgement whatsoever. Not even a note of congratulations... we too host a home for travellers and would have left a generous congratulations gift and thanks for celebrating at our property.
Also neighbouring pub quite noisy, hot at night in our stay and no a/c nor cd we open window due to noise.
Kitchen supplies, given price paid for stay, were ordinary... 4 tea bags, tiny long life milks. Sheets were polyester-blend.

- Vittoria (5/5): - Position is central The picture of the outside belongs to another house. It’s not bad but it is always disappointing to find that something is not responding to the pictures

- Tony (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - so comfortable with great amenities and so close to restaurants and attractions. - Loved the heritage and quirkiness of the property and the friendly communication from the staff. It was all good.
- Anthony (10/5): 4 day stay. - Pofic is located within walking distance to shops . Not much to say there.
- Janice (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (7/5): Good - Location is exceptional. Right in the heart of Hobart. Steps away from Salemenca place. Staircase is very steep. Not great for those with mobility issues. A little noisy with pub down the road.
- Phil (9/5): Superb -
