Guest Reviews
- Sherri (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siim (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (10/5): Modern, comfortable, great location - Comfortable and modern apartment with beautiful tree-lined street views. In the hip Pigneto district and very close to great bars and restaurants.
- Himanshu (8/5): Stay was comfortable and nice but to and fro travel time was a let down - 1. Host was very responsive, was communitating on booking.com messages and was very promt
2. Keys were virtual, and app used, worked accurately
3. apartment was spacious, 2 full bedrooms and a living room and small room for luggage and a very functional kitchen
4. Internet connection was stable and worked good
5. Smart TV
6. AC/ dishwasher/ Washing machine all worked as expected
7. quite neighbourhood and seemed safe as well
8. carefour supermarket very near to apartment
9. Bus stop just below the apartment
10. Tram stop just in front of building
11. balcony was good and a lot of sun available 1. location of flat is not that great -
1.1: too far from airport and main city attractions (taking a taxi is too expensive from/ to airport, around 75 euros, Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport)
1.2: to reach any of the sights or termini station, it atleast took 45 mins, given we get bus on accurate time
1.3: although bus stop is just there, but can't rely on the timetable, buses are always running late (were following time table on google and city mapper), had to wait for bus 20-30 mins on avg, its true for whole rome
2. Trams were too crowded, we did not take that
3. couple of metro stations are there around 20 mins walk away
4. did not find any good restaurants near by
5. with respect to apartment, microwave and toaster were not available
6. finding warm water in shower was a task, it was either too hot or too cold, could not find the right mix
- Eugeniu (9/5): Enjoyable stray in Rome. - The flat had all the necessary, big space and clean bathroom, linen clean. Balcony small but comfortable, a lot of dishes and spices. The host was good in conversation. Shops near the accomodation. A bit far from center. Noisy because of tram, but not very much as the bedrooms were in the opposite siide.
- Maccy (9/5): A lovely home from home in Rome, Thank you Giorgio - Giorgio was really helpful before we arrived by answering all the questions i had about our stay. Whenever i had a question, he always got back to me very quickly.
We loved that it was only a 16 minute taxi ride from Termini Train Station to the apartment and cost about £18 when we arrived at midnight. Check in was done prior to arrival and we were emailed clear and very easy to follow picture instructions on how to use the automatic door to unlock for both the building door and also the apartment door(you do need an internet connection). There is a bus stop about 20 steps away from the building door and the 105 bus takes about 20 minutes to Termini Station. From there you can get trains to all major cities in Italy, catch the sightseeing tour buses and start sightseeing by foot, within about 15 minute walk you've got countless churches and 2 Basilica's to start your Rome tour. If you miss the bus and prefer not to take a taxi, there is also the Tram that is a 4 minute walk from the building, you would need to change trams but it's very easy and the connecting tram is from the same Tram stop, again this takes you to Termini Station.
There was a welcome pack of Espresso coffee, English Tea and a bottle of water already cooled in the fridge. Anything we needed like sugar, salt, pepper, oils ect was already in the cupboard. All the kitchen equipment was clean and ready to use. We all had a stack of fresh towels and a lovely little bag of Shower wash, soap and shower caps waiting on our beds. All the facilities listed were available which was great. One of the benefits was that even though we arrived around midnight, there is a 24hr supermarket a 5 minute walk away on the corner which was great as we got breakfast bits for the morning.
The space in the apartment was just enough for us and our teenage Sons, the boys were impressed with the free wifi.
Thank you so much Giorgio for helping and being a great host There wasn't a toaster, however it wasn't a problem, we just grilled the bread in the oven which was fine.
