• Anne (10/5): Excellent communications and location - Great apartment and host. Tom coordinated our stay and was an excellent communicator. He met us on arrival and explained the apartment facilities. We had his WhatsApp number so were reassured, if we need any additional information or had any issues that he was available. It was all very easy and we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a great location, convenient for restaurants, shops and walking to the sights. All good

• Dariusz (10/5): - The apartment had no flaws—only positives. I travel a lot and haven’t seen such a great place in a long time. The distance to the main tourist attractions in Athens was just a few hundred meters (the Acropolis, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Ancient Agora). The metro station we used to get to the airport was also just a few hundred meters away. The street-facing windows were soundproof, which shows how every detail was carefully thought out. The apartment is comfortable for four people, but I think even six could manage for a night or two. Tom welcomed us personally and showed us around the apartment, even though he knew we would arrive before 1:00 AM. A fantastic host! I highly recommend it! If I had to suggest anything to the host, I would replace the washing machine with a dishwasher.

• Tisha (9/5): Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. - The apartment was clean. The decor was beautiful. It is in a hreat location. There is a nice bar right outside the building. The area is walkable and safe. You can walk to the acropolis in about 17 minutes. Restaurants are also close by. The host was very responsive to all communication.

Camere non molto pulite ma Tom ha cercato di rimediare nel miglior modo possibile. Avevamo chiesto il check in anticipato, ci era stato accordato e invece ci hanno fatto aspettare fino alle 16.00 passate (quindi abbiamo effettuato il check in tardivo)... Leggendo le tantissime recensioni positive ho preferito spendere leggermente in più e prendere questo posto, ma non mi ha entusiasmata e sicuramente non ci tornerei... Oltretutto si è quasi a un piano terra, quindi io non mi sentivo molto sicura.

• Ruia (5/5): An average stay. Not worth the price. - There was no breakfast included. The apartment was located in the most desirable part of Plaka which we loved. The apartment was kept tightly sealed with all windows closed to minimize noise, but this also blocked natural sunlight and left the air feeling stuffy. We recommended to the host to either leave some windows open for fresh air and light or provide air purifiers for improved ventilation. Additionally, the linens were subpar the beds had single sheets, which made sharing uncomfortable for two people sleeping together.

The host was very kind and informative about the place, fairly fast respond, and very helpful in giving recommendations for us first timers in Athens. The location of the flat itself is amazing, walking distance to Acropolis, cafes, restaurants, markets. Aminities provided are very clean.

• Lynn (10/5): GREAT CITY BREAK IN A PERFECT LOCATION - Perfect location couldn’t have been better - Tom on hand if we needed him. So close to bars/ restaurants/sites but so quiet - great nights sleep. Good catering facilities if needed but we had amazing coffee/pastries from ERGON down the road for a breakfast treat, and amazing food just around the corner. Really enjoyable stay - Thank You Having to come home !

• Della (8/5): A lovely apartment in a great location as long as you don't mind the bass from the bar across th way - The apartment was clean and new. The air conditioning worked well and was much appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms in good condition. We used the washing machine and very much appreciated the drying rack. Although we did know there was a restaurant across the alley from the apartment, we did not know that it expanded in the evening, across the alley toward our apartment. There were tables right under our bedroom window. It was awkward going through them to enter the building but most annoying was the music, whose bass was resounding in the front bedroom and kitchen. I managed to fall asleep but my husband couldn't and had to move to the sofa bed in the back living room.

• Anne (6/5): Okay accommodation but wouldn’t stay again. - Pretty good location. Good to have two bathrooms. Property wasn’t ready when we arrived. Check in was 3 pm but wasn’t ready until 4:30pm. Very annoying after travelling 26 hours. Uncomfortable bed & had a single sheet on double or queen bed so couldn’t both be covered with the sheet. Very strange.

Great location, the cocktail bar and restaurants across the road were excellent, we walked far and wide and ended up back right outside the aparment. Parking was tricky to find in advance, parking building locations would be helpful in advance

He also allowed us to quickly change after our 10 hour flight before the apt was ready. The apt was perfect - lots of little touches that couldn't help but make you feel welcome, great location, spotless. Then the host came back after our tour to officially welcome us and show us some things about the apt. It was perfect for my 4 adult kids and I. We rent out apps in the US and I can only hope the people we rent to feel as welcome and like our place as much as we liked this place! There was not one thing I didn't like about this apt. It literally was perfect.

Our host was incredibly welcome and attentive, regularly checking in with us to ensure the quality of our stay. We were greeted in person, with a tour of the apartment and a welcome gift of Greek wine and chocolates. The apartment was modern, clean and extremely well equipped. The beds and linen are comfortable and new. The security system is top-notch. The location is excellent, so many bars and restaurants close by, and only 10-15 minute walk to the major tourist attractions. There is a popular high-end bar right across the (pedestrian only) street, playing music on weekend nights. While the windows are double-paned for insulation, some noise slips through to one of the two bedrooms. While this was not a problem for us, a sensitive sleeper may be bothered.

He waited for us upon arrival to give us a tour of the house, he explained to us how to use the key, the jacuzzi, the air conditioning, how to heat the water. He showed his availability at any time. The apartment is in the Plaka neighborhood, in the city center. You can easily reach any tourist destination. One of the rooms is next to a pub. Some nights the noise can be loud. Heating is done only with AC. The first evening it was a little colder until the walls warmed up, then there were no more problems.

The apartment is new, extremely well-appointed with quality features throughout and spotlessly clean. The location was fantastic with restaurants, bars, shopping and groceries all within a 2-minute walk, with the metro station just 5-miuntes away. Our host, Tom, is the best host we have ever had at a stay, anywhere in the world. He helped us store our bags, gave plenty of good advice on the area and even asked us what milk we drank so that it would be in the fridge on our arrival! Add to all of this, the fact that you are just a 10-minute walk to the Acropolis and literally around the corner from one of the best rooftop restaurants and it is no surprise why I rate this apartment as one of the best we have ever stayed at. The owner, Tom, was extremely helpful and made sure to give us whatever we needed to make us feel at home. The bedrooms, especially the one with the jacuzzi were big and had comfortable beds. Kitchen was fully equipped. Could not have picked a better place for our 6 nights trip to Athens. Highly recommended. Nothing

The main bedroom was very large with a comfortable bed, large en suite bathroom and choice of pillows. A duvet and blanket were in the wardrobe if needed (but not on this trip!). The jacuzzi bath and bathrobes were a lovely bonus! The second bedroom had all the facilities too as well as it’s own bathroom. Both showers were powerful and all the towels were fluffy. Extra towels were available if needed. Large tv’s in each room all had Netflix as well as a host of other apps and channels. Mosquito shutters on all the doors and windows were a great idea and worked well allowing the cool evening air into the apartment. Air con was in all rooms if needed. There was an additional small balcony with furniture with doors from both the living area and second bedroom. Finding the property and entrance to the property was easy and I was met by the host who both showed us around and provided tips and helpful extras on arrival - including some lovely baklava and plenty of cold water bottles! The property is in a very central area with plenty of restaurants and bars within a very short walking distance. Syntagma square and metro is only 6 minutes walk and central Plaka and the Acropolis area only a 5 minute walk, if that. Very easy to get to all the sights and sounds of Athens. The apartment has 4 small bars outside that serve lovely coffee in the morning as well as a varied selection of drinks and food all day and into the early hours. The host has added extra insulation and soundproofing to ensure that the noise from the bars is minimised. The owner/host of the apartment was available at all times and provided helpful assistance and reassurance and excellent communication. Nothing. All was very good.
