Guest Reviews
Anbefales spesielt for alenereisende damer.

- Prashant (10/5): Our stay at JF yellow room was very good. - I recently had the pleasure of staying in the JF Yellow Room in Florence, Italy, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by our host, who was nothing short of exceptional. Her hospitality and attention to detail made my stay unforgettable.
The room itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. The view from the room was breathtaking, offering a picturesque glimpse of the Italian landscape.
Our host went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. She provided invaluable local tips and recommendations, from the best places to eat to hidden gems that only locals know about. Her warm personality and genuine care for her guests made me feel like I was staying with a relative. The location is perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions while still providing a peaceful and relaxing retreat.
I highly recommend this room to anyone looking to experience the best of Italy. The combination of a fantastic accommodation and the best host you could hope for made this trip truly special. I can't wait to return!
- Lauren (9/5): Very nice stay would stay again - I enjoyed my stay at The Yellow Room, the hostess is very nice and welcoming. The room is in a nice neighborhood, not far from the many tourist destinations in the heart of Florence. There is an excellent cafe right around the corner. You are renting a room and private bathroom from a Woman in her home, but I was given plenty of privacy. The bathroom is not attached to the bedroom but only one door down from it. The room has its own AC unit with a remote control and it works very well. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of the building but their is an elevator once you go past the lobby so you don't have to go up 3 flights of stairs. The window of the room overlooks a private garden area so there is a nice view of nature and you can hear the birds chirping in the morning. The people that lived above the apartment where loud sometimes but I would assume it's pretty normal in old buildings like that to hear some noise from the people above, I just wore ear plugs when needed but didn't need them most of the time. It would be nice to have a trash can in the room, there was one in the bathroom but not the bedroom.
- Marina (1/5): Spoiled impression of Florence - The kettle and the tiny rubbish bin that I managed to obtain at the end of the second and third days respectively... Almost everything. But let's start from the very beginning-the data on booking is not true at all! The address is wrong - it's written "via J.A.Dosio 3", but "3" is the number of the floor!!! The old woman owner told me that "the previous guest was also mistaken." If you consider that there were only 2 guests before me, it means 50% also wasted their time and energy to get to a wrong place. She mentioned this number on purpose to shorten the distance to a city centre. It's written 3 km, but in fact it's 4 km, almost one hour walk...The bed is uncomfortable at all. Actually, it's a clamshell with a thin mattress and a big hole where all pillows were falling... The main disaster was this old greedy woman who was living in this property ( it was not mentioned in any place in the description), watching my every move, screaming on me that I was leaving at 10.30 instead of 10.00, although it was also not written, telling me a really racists stuff ("all Russians are too fastidious"), and so on. I was managing to be satisfied with only 1 roll of toilet paper for 5 days (I asked the second spare roll, but she didn't give), the toilet door without lock, greyish "white" worn towels, previously used toothpaste...The declared terrace I didn't see, the balcony and TV space were used only by the owner. She was waking me every day at 7 am, her neighbours were every day sitting in the flat loudly talking, so there was no any privacy at all. The window was facing a very noisy road, although some trees separated it. There were no any cleaning or changing towels during the whole period.
