Guest Reviews
- karen (10/5): Great and plenty of room for our family of 5 - Great location for looking around London and visiting the O2, quiet and secure and it felt like home for a night Nothing at all
- Kanokon (9/5): - The best location
- Kay (10/5): Great location , ground floor , close to coffee shops , bars supermarkets, greggs and McDonald’s ! Place was clean reall - Very good location for Greenwich pier what we needed … We likes everything
- Helen (8/5): Very convenient. We had a wonderful time in Greenwich. - The location was excellent. It was very close to the Cutty Sark and the shops and restaurants of Greenwich as well as Greenwich Park and museums. The flat was quite small with not much storage space. The cupboard door was broken and the mirror standing on the floor.
- Ioannis (10/5): - Very well equipped flat. Feels like home. Excellent location. Sofa is a bit hard. Difficult to regulate hot water in shower.
- Lovely (8/5): Our stay was sad family occasion - We didn't have breakfast We would have liked some biscuits left
- KARIA (10/5): - The stay was very comfortable and convenient and made us feel homely. Especially the hosts are super helpful and coordinative and respectful I forgot one of my bags and they kept it aside for me and made it very convenient for me to recollect it back I loved the stay but most importantly the welcoming nature of guests was the best part!! ❤️
- Shamsul (9/5): It's an excellent place overall. I am considering to come back to the place in my next trip. - The location is fantastic. Close to all amenities. The water closet being separated from the bathroom.
- Richard (7/5): Great stay.flat ok but not very luxurious - Great location. Good amount of space for 5 guests if using living room as extra bed. Clean , efficient flat. Communication with host was very good and helpful Although the proximity to river and central Greenwich location are great The estate the flat belongs to isn’t the best holiday destination . Bit grimy and lots of rubbish to exterior. It’s a council estate block with all the mix of real life urban scenarios and characters. Bit surprising given the online description.
- Julie (4/5): Great location, and fine if expectations are really very low. - Excellent location, could not be better. The flat was very, very tired. Door handles missing, poor state of decoration, tiny kitchen, toilet without handwash facilities and very smelly drains. Sofa was a sofa bed and very uncomfortable. TV cut out every two minutes because of poor internet connection. Narrowly missed an accident with the coffee table having a broken leg. Very unhappy with hosts' use of a vetting agency that added a mandatory damage 'insurance' fee to the bill - expect to pay £35+ more than the stated price.
- Claire (8/5): Very good -
- Damyan (10/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable stay - The location was ideal for the purposes of our stay with lots of lovely local amenities nearby. Perhaps some bottled water in the fridge might be a nice touch for future guests.
- Bechard (5/5): Passable -
- Samirah (9/5): Great stay. - Communication with the host was 10/10!
Well looked after property. Nothing we didnt like!
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - Location was great, Really nicely furnished and equipped. Last minute booking but we will stay there again. No coffee or tea, facilities were there but not stocked. In fairness we only booked same day due to a last minute cancellation of previously booked property.
- Penny (8/5): excellent location, very clean and car parking sorted simply - great location! didn’t appreciate how close to the museums it was until we were there and went exploring nothing specific as it was very good. the neighbourhood /area is a little run down but this didn’t affect the property
- Kerry (9/5): Perfect location in Greenwich. - We were at a Dinner at the painted hall on the evening we stayed. The Flat was a couple of mins walk from our venue so extremely good for our overnight stay. Having to verify myself before our stay at an extra cost that I felt was hidden in the VERY small print.I was totally unaware of this before I had booked and payed for my stay. The email from a firm called Hog was quite unexpected.I understand why people who rent out their flats may need some sort of verification however I really feel this could have been explained in a more upfront way before booking with the site..Booking.com.
- Maria (7/5): basic stopover - it's location. bathroom, very basic, no mirror for shaving,
tv didn't work.
- Brett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Duncan (6/5): Convenient stop over for one night while visiting O2 - Well situated for the Greenwich area Very, very compact. Noisy surroundings
- Adam (8/5): Great location if sightseeing in Greenwich and an overnight stay is better than travelling home! - We were looking for somewhere close to the Maritime Museum and this property certainly delivered. We had all we need for our one night stay and being close the grocery store and train station was an added bonus. The property was a little tired and perhaps a little smaller than our family of five is used to.
- David (1/5): Bad -
- Sarah (6/5): Rough around the edges - It’s a council flat, bathroom tiny, beds saggy and uncomfortable
- Carly (6/5): Fantastic location!! All the essential and I deal for a short stay’ - The location is incredible. So close to Greenwich Highstreet and Cutty Sark station. Felt very safe and it’s right on the Thames. It had all the essentials you’d need for a short stay. It was really quiet, the sheets and towels were nice. It was fine / a bit cosy for 5 adults plus a baby. The travel cot was ideal. The host was very friendly and I felt like everything was straight forward with instructions etc. The property is a little dated and the beds weren’t the most comfortable but it definitely wouldn’t put me off staying again if I needed to.
- Kerry (8/5): Good location great family accommodation - Great location
Everything you needed
Clean and comfortable A bit noisy but it was fri/sat night
- Josh (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (9/5): Location was awesome. - The location was awesome, cosy little flat. A little small for five adults. Perfect for a family of 4.
- Justine (8/5): Would happily book again - Excellent location close to Greenwich DLR; good price for the location; very clean; well equipped kitchen
- Julie (9/5): Great spot , handy to sightsee but still escape the business of the city - Great location, girls were great to deal with and really helpful around check in times etc . Beds were spotless and clean white towels. Proper kitchen ware.. down to the bread knife was great. No complaints
- Momoko (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, Very spacious for three of us, good value for London and being super close to the Uber boat pier and underground station I had never used the website called superhog which they used to collect deposits from us, so I was a little sceptical about but it was all fine at the end. They take an extra £10 as transaction fee which I did not know about when I booked.
- Valentin (8/5): Very good location, apartment may be a bit too vintage for some - Very good location next to DLR stop, shops and restaurants; museums, parks, market etc. Friendly, helpful and responsive staff.
Overall in good shape and clean. A
Small London guide in the apt was quite useful. The apartment is rather dated and while some things were refreshed, it was more like a bit of paint touch up and a piece of newer furniture rather then the more serious work that would be needed for a 9/10 rating. No deal breakers though.
- Miriam (8/5): Wonderful little gem! - The location is excellent. It is a ground floor flats which was really good, with just a short walk to the shops and train station/buses.
We would definitely come here again on a future occasion.
There was a lovely welcome pack of tea/coffee/Porridge etc which was much appreciated.
The flat was warm, clean, and well decorated.
The owners were really helpful and answered questions quickly. The bathroom is small and quite dated but is functional and all you need for a couple of nights.
- Justyna (9/5): Perfect for a city break - Very convenient location, helpful hosts , clean, comfy , well equipped. A bit dated , but overall - nothing to complain about.
- Tracey (8/5): Ideal size accommodation, perfect location, lots to see and do and very reactive and helpful hosts - Ideal location for access to Greenwich and it’s surrounds, close to DLR, easy ride into London city, very clean, easy parking, and super hosts who were very accommodating to us.
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katarina (8/5): Great location, and good value for money. - The host were very responsive. The location is great, just around the corner from the tube. The neighbourhood offers plenty restaurants, bakeries and shops. While the flat is well equipped, couple of more amenities including more toilet paper and kitchen towels would be welcomed, particularly if staying with kids.
- Jaqui (9/5): We loved the location and Greenwich. Found the apartment to be well equipped with everything we needed for three adults, - The location is perfect - literally next to the Cutty Sark with fabulous restaurants, bars, the market and public transport within a very short walk. Just wish there had been a dishwasher instead of a washing machine.
- Tina (7/5): Good - The location is fantastic! The property is small but adequate. It was clean also. Lack of mirror in main bedroom. The structure of the property is quite old fashioned, but I guess can't be changed. It would have been nicer if the flat was on an upper level as the curtains had to remain closed to not be seen changing in the bedrooms.
- Michael (7/5): nice comfortable home but overpriced - Nice comfy beds. Tea and coffee was a nice touch area
- Shelley (4/5): Clean and tidy flat in a below standard apartment block - i felt I overpayed what it was worth - I liked the proximity to the Cutty Sark. Clean and neat interior. The overall surrounds of a poorly maintained ex-public housing block need to be more clearly communicated. £500 to stay in this apartment for a night was poor value to money and I found the write up on Booking.com misleading. I was expecting something of a much higher standard for the money.
- Laura (5/5): Passable -
- Michaela (9/5): Great apartment in Greenwich - The apartment is perfectly situated next to food stores, restaurants and the DLR station which makes travelling to the town centre easy. The two bedroom plus living room flat is fully equipped (kitchen, two comfortable beds, television, internet) and the two hosts are welcoming and very helpful!
