Guest Reviews
- Ioana (1/5): It was ok if you are very stuck for a place but wouldn’t pay to stay there again, ridiculous price for the conditions pr - It was damp, smelt like mould. Hard to get in touch with the host, attempted to contact them multiple times before they answered. Appliances didn’t work, lamps didn’t work and were stained, mould in the bathroom, no shower head holder.
- Radu (8/5): Very good - Good location, convenient shops around , not far from the local transport.
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Very helpful and comfortable
- Florin (8/5): No title - I would not recommend this apartment due to the high humidity, as it is located in the basement. Otherwise it was ok, the host was quite communicative.
- Darko (10/5): Exceptional - It was perfect space for us and everything was nice and high quality
- Michael (4/5): Frustrating - Location Beds
- Lee (7/5): Good -
- Sofia (6/5): Nice place, nice location, poor management - The location was great, very close to transport (train and bus) and right in the middle of two very nice areas (Chiswick & Kew). The size of the place was good, with good amenities (kitchen, fridge, tv, washing machine, big sofa) The communication with the host was not good. I tried to contact her a couple of times before my arrival and didn't get an answer. When she finally answered she didn't give good information about the keys, and had us waiting by the door while her son came to give us the keys. The lock of the door by the way was difficult to handle, even her son said so. Also the shower was broken and quite mouldy (photo attached)
- Ahmad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sara (5/5): Passable -
- Remo (7/5): Good - Great location for the Brentford FC match. The cable and wi-fi were down. We were not able to watch TV or access the internet.
- Sjjohns67 (2/5): The Worst! - Bad Beds, Ants, No Heat, Bad Shower, Slow response
- Tom (8/5): Very good - Good location. comfortable, Great value for money. But overall nice place. Some furniture looking a tatty. Bathroom clean but could do be spruce up. Smell of damp now and again.
- Ajijola (10/5): Good value for money. Loved the apartment - Very compact and modern.
- Martin (8/5): overall good - room spaces ok , clean and good assistance on first day apartment was not ready on stipulated checkin time
- Jane (1/5): For your own safety and well-being, do not stay here! - The property is conveniently located. This accommodation is unsafe and uninhabitable. Do not stay here.
The lock on both the front door and the back door do not actually lock.
The bed mattress in the single room smells of stale urine.
The apartment has an overpowering smell of mould and it can be seen on the roof and walls in the bathroom, on some other walls and curtain furnishings. When challenged about the mould situation the owner knew it was a problem.
Other issues included a hairdryer that did not have a UK plug so was useless, limited crockery and glasses.
As you can read in the reviews, other recent bookings have also experienced the mould situation. The owners should not be renting out the apartment in this state. It is difficult to breathe in the apartment and damaging for people’s health.
For all the reasons above we could not stay in the apartment for the duration of our booking so had to find alternative accommodation. At the time of writing the owners are refusing to refund our money.
- Linda (4/5): Being changed to a different location and property at the last minute was disappointing. I had specifically booked to be - We were changed to a different property in a different location at the last minute. Didn’t like the location.
- Frank (7/5): The alternative Apartment in Brentford was "good" overall - The apartment had enough space, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms/toilets. The location was in a neat newer building with bus stop right in front of the house The apartment is a bit worn out. Although the bathrooms are modern, there is mold in the grout in the wet areas/showers.
The original apartment in Chiswick was not available due to "technical problems." This seems to have been known for some time, see previous evaluations. Nevertheless, the apartment was advertised (?). In this respect, the evaluation refers to the alternative apartment in Brentford, next to the Museum of Water and Steam.
- Janet (9/5): Superb - location and cleanliness nothing
- Mandy (8/5): Very good - Great location. Very nice flat. The beds in the second bedroom were children's beds and not comfortable.
- Juan (9/5): Real improvement - The apartment we had booked had some drainage issues and work was in progress. Hence we were upgraded to a better 2 Bed and 2 bath apartment; The new apartment was 10 mins walk from the previously booked and was a real upgrade; the address was Flat 1, Easton House, Heritage walk, TW8 0RR, and the relationship with Sara was very good and flexible. This review has not been updated to the new situation and i don't know if it will apply truly to the real apartment where we stayed.
- Georgie (8/5): Perfect apartment for our work trip - Clean and comfortable! Just needed a bit more crockery!
- Teodora (10/5): Exceptional -
