• Linda (8/5): Great cosy place, clean and tidy. Able to fit in there nicely with a family of 4. - Cheaper place that was value for money. Area was nice and quiet. Basics all provided for. Older style place however catered for what we required in our short stay (overnight). Garage was unable to be used- very small would only fit a small (if that) car in. Not a deal breaker though, just parked on the street.

• Jacqui (7/5): Great location for exploring and lovely setting for when you want to relax - Close proximity to the beach, cafes and restaurants but nice and peaceful with a lovely view of the river to relax in the mornings and evening after being out most of the day. Well equipped with everything that you need including washing machine and dryer. The property is very worn and dated which is a shame as everything else is perfect. Needs attention to decor and painted surfaces. BBQ is very old and rusty. Not very inviting to cook on.
• Celestine (9/5): The owner communicated with us regularly and was extremely responsive throughout. - The property was clean. The we were able to use the Kayaks and the bikes which was great. The owner even provided us with a cot for our little one. Everything was great.

• Selena (6/5): Great location just a shame it wasn’t very clean - Great location, easy walk to the beach. It really needs a decent clean. There was a funky smell on arrival, first thing I noticed when we walked in was filthy ceiling fans, it just didn’t feel clean. No mattress protector on the bed, just a thin sheet over a mattress multiple people sleep on.
• Madeleine (8/5): Good value, budget accom - Property is older style but well presented. Beds were comfortable and the neighbouring apartments were quiet. It seems the owners took heed of previous reviews which is awesome on their part. The kayaks were fun to play on and on/off street parking was easy. About a 10-15 min walk to beach with little kids who were happy to scoot. It was 37 degree day when we were there but the brick apartment handled it well and ceiling fans earned their keep. Recommend for simple, budget, family mini vaycay Property could use some more plates, cutlery and serving ware and a bbq clean, but we were able to make do.
• Louise (6/5): Pleasant - Nice unit, good location. Unfortunately the unit was not cleaned before I arrived/ after the last guests left. This was sorted and the person that manages the unit was apologetic.
• Natasha (9/5): Nice and serene spot. - The location was wonderful. We could see the owners have tried to make it a nice little place. My friend and I sat outside for ages enjoying the serenity. It was the perfect mix of close to beach but serene and quiet. Bed was nicely made. Will basic needs were met with kitchen ware. Although we didn't use anything for cooking. We literally used the place stop between heading out again and to sleep. A cockroach running under my bed. The used cake of soap in the shower. The unavailability to park in the garage. The pillows were all the same and unfortunately very uncomfortable for me. Very late check in. So In all, we had the place available for 19hours including sleeping. It was quite frustrating to open the garage, see the state of it. So we just shut it up and left that part alone. Although I think it's great you offer the kayaks and bikes.
• Cathie (1/5): Canal front unit - very disappointing - Location - bathroom left with scum on shower screen and hair on floor - flat sheet and pillow cases on bed old and thin, no top sheet or blanket provided (had to source my own pillow and sheets) - towel were old and cheap - floor had dirty foot prints - fridge had left over food and food waste crumbs - products in bathroom were cheep and used - blinds in main bedroom had marks and dirt all over - whole apartment smelt of curry - no outdoor furniture - bbq filthy and covered in spider web - entrance to unit was very dirty and dusty, dirt and leaves - not maintained and scruffy looking. So so disappointing - I have many friends who would have been interested in staying but no way would I recommend it.
