• Eric (5/5): Very basic but could use some love - Great location. Quiet neighbourhood yet very close to busy areas with good food and shops. Train station is pretty close too It looks better on the picture than in reality. Furniture is outdated and could use some love. For example the toilet doesn’t have a bidet which is unusual for Japanese standard. Also if the neighbour decides to unplug the wifi, there is nothing you can do. Some amenities could be replaced as they don’t function properly (hair dryer working 50% of the time).

• Mislav Čačić (3/5): Great location, everything else is a disaster. - The only good thing about this accommodation is the location, which is close to all the important public transport lines. The accommodations were not very clean when we arrived. During our entire stay, no one even asked about cleaning the room or changing towels (you only get as many towels as there are guests for the whole stay), or anything similar. Room 301 has a washing machine located outside the apartment, which was not stated in the listing. The owner lied to us from the first to the last day about everything we asked. First, we requested to be moved due to the washing machine situation and the fact that there was only one power outlet in the entire accommodation. He said there were only two units in the whole building and that he couldn’t move us. After that, we asked him to bring an extension cable due to the lack of outlets. He said he would bring it the next day. That cable never arrived. First, he told us it had been left in front of our apartment door, then that it was mistakenly left in front of apartment 102 (first floor), while we were in room 301 (third floor). If it’s true that there are only two units in the building, what are the chances he would leave it at the wrong apartment? However, the cable wasn’t in front of that apartment either. For any question we asked, he responded with a lie. Regardless of the excellent location, unless you have very few devices to charge and don’t need a washing machine (which I’m not even sure works, and anyone could access your belongings there), I would skip this place and look for another in a similar location. If you don’t mind these issues, then you might still consider it—but be aware that the owner is prone to lying and taking money without investing anything into the accommodation or helping guests. Also, the apartment is very poorly equipped, with very old furniture, broken items, and a bathroom without a proper shower curtain, causing water to splash all over the floor.
• Ginuss (10/5): - Fácil de ubicar y para pasar una noche está bien!. Medianamente cercano a la zona principal de Shinjuku. El host siempre respondió a tiempo y proporciona toda la info para ingresar eficientememte. La habitación aunque pequeña tenía todo lo necesario y la cama bastante comoda. Si volvería si fuera solo para una a dos personas en estancias largas. El vecindario se percibía agradable y con muchos servicios a distancias muy cortas caminando. Las escaleras de acceso están por fuera y la habitación está en un 3er nivel, pero de una altura normal el edificio, no es muy alto, para mí fue fácil subirla y bajarla varias veces en el día. Para dos personas está bien. Mi grupo era de 3 y estuvo apretado.
• Mirza (7/5): good overall - it is clean. near to shops, train station, and stores. complete facilities given including to cook, clean and etc. room in good condition. bed, bathroom, toilet, sink, table etc it is too small for 3 and more people. not suitable for groups. max 2 people is very convenient i can assure.the facilities are complete but so outdated. the shower uses 2 pipe to balance hot and cold water. toilet uses sink on top, no buttons or bidet. also, try name the place so it is easier to search for navigation.

• Neonblaack (1/5): - Die Lage war in Ordnung. Als wir die Unterkunft aufsuchten, wimmelte es vor dem Haus vor Ratten. Die Einfahrt, der Treppenaufgang, überall Ungeziefer. Ich habe den Vermieter umgehend kontaktiert, er zeigte jedoch keine Einsicht und war nicht bereit, eine Stornierung anzunehmen. Die hygienische Situation war völlig unangemessen, also haben wir die Wohnung erst gar nicht bezogen. Für den Vermieter, der auch in der nachfolgenden Diskussion keine Kompromissbereitschaft und hat sich sein Geld leicht verdient. Das ist völlig unüblich für Japan, von daher auch überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen.

O dono responde muito rápido e me ajudou em um momento muito importante ! Não são 3 camas como mencionado O colchão tradicional japonês é muito frio e não tinha coberta o suficiente,e nem aquecedor Passamos muito frio devido a dezembro ter baixas temperaturas , pegamos sensação térmica de -7 Tivemos q dormir com roupas de inverno . Pequenos detalhes fazem diferença

• Yinon (5/5): Good enough for the price; great location, note the downsides. - Location is great, 10 min walk from closest train station, 15 min walk from center shinjuku. There’s a donki a few min walk as well. In a quiet residential area, the apartment itself is fine, bed is comfortable enough, and although not huge we had enough room for our luggage. Considering we booked it a few days before the stay, the price was great as well, but you get what you pay for. The owner also provided slippers, umbrellas, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The remote control for the AC unit was not set up properly and did not turn it on, we had to figure out ourselves how to fix it as the response from the owner was - i informed the maintenance but they’re not working at the moment, with no followup whatsoever. The futon bed is extremely thin, which i thought was worth noting, it’s basically a blanket with sheets on it. Curtains do not block any light basically, very bright in the morning which made it hard to sleep. Shower is pretty old and has no curtain nor a floor mat, no bidet in the bathroom. We received one towel each for the entire stay, which were honestly not the freshest smelling, but there is a washing machine in unit. Pictures make it look way better than it is, but again you get what you pay for.

• Greg (10/5): Cosy yet spacious for Tokyo, great value, warm shower, recommended - Location amazing, quiet, yet close to vibrant Korean town / north shinjuku, full of bars and restaurants open late / 24hrs, walk is like 10mins to nearest station, add some mins with suitcases ofc. More spacious than imagined! Love the wardrobe and the micro balcony, so cute! South facing made it lovely and sunny The main (bed)room light was very harsh, as in way too cold in light temperature, too blue — add a warm (orange) filter — or ideally please add a bedside lamp with a warm orange bulb 2 glasses were not enough for water + tea/coffee/beer. So please add 2 mugs or 2 more glasses :)

• Ying (4/5): I wouldn’t recommend it - We tried to contact the property manager because the remote control is not working. It was really cold inside because we couldn’t adjust the AC temperature with remote control. The property manager replied that they will have their staff to come and fix it the next day. We’d prefer they come the same day because it’s cold but the next day is fine. However, they didn’t come the other day too. Instead they send out some automatically text to greet us. One of my friend ended up booking another hotel because she couldn’t stand the cold and bedding is not clean enough. Also the pillows, sheets, and covers don’t seem very clean to us. We have bad allergies in the room. The tatami mat is very damp too.
