Johnathon the property manager was nothing short of brilliant! We rang him about the lack of cleanliness and he responded straight away, he even dropped us off some drinks to make up for it. He was fantastic the entire time and easy to reach. Very hard to find the place, several different people sent us to the wrong accommodation, including our driver. Got told we could collect the keys from the bookstore at 2:30pm but the cleaners hadn’t finished. When we got into the apartment it appeared filthy in multiple places, the benches and bedside drawers were stained, dirty, the cushions in the lounge were stained. Mould looking grime on the ceiling in one room. Lots of little fruit fly looking insects in the room daily esp in the kitchen, we couldn’t leave any food on the benches or they got into it. The drier didn’t work. The bed spreads were stained. Furniture and everything in it dated.
The lifts took a ridiculous amount of time to work which saw many people cued up daily waiting for their turn. Possibly due to the new year holiday, but overall, Not great for the amount we paid.

- louise (1/5): Unacceptable. - Location was good. Was booked for 2 nights, Did not stay for any. Mould on roof in 3rd bedroom, bathroom drains overflowed when both showers were going. Main bedroom bed base was broken. Only partial refund was given.

Located perfectly, close to shopping and restaurants. Price was excellent. Would definitely chose the place again for the next trip to the Gold Coast. Was a little noisy at times with the AC and such.

Smell mould and dusty. When we arrived, we cleaned the ceiling from dust that had accumulated over time. Sheets and pillows were dirty. We had to buy our own pillows and wash the sheets when we arrived.

- Carla (2/5): Very disappointed - Location The tv and internet didn’t work. When I advised the reception a worker came up to fix and cut himself in the process and dripped blood all over the carpet. No one returned for over an hour after again having to connect reception and ask what was going on. Tv couldn’t be fixed for our stay. The bedding configuration was not as advertised which was the main reason we booked this accommodation over other apartments. Very disappointing experience.

I have sent him photos of the dead cockroaches on the floor,one fell out the toaster !.
When my son in law got up at night the cockroaches were everywhere.
There was no cover on the drain in the ensuite someone could break an ankle stepping on that.
The pantry had food left in it from previous visitors including an open bag of sugar.
There were empty bottles of handwash on the bathroom basins,why I don't know.
There is black splash marks on the wall in the laundry & the floor was filthy as they will see with the mop we left.
There was bleach & methylated spirits left in the cupboard & chemicals in the kitchen cupboard with no childproof locks on.
The dining room chairs had legs bent inwards that we couldnt sit on incase they broke.
I strongly feel I should be reimbursed ny so called " apartment cleaning " fee as it was not cleaned for my visit.
Also I have photos including veges still in the bottom of the dishwasher & the microwave smelt like spag bol !
