Guest Reviews
- Ly (10/5): Very comfortable house to stay in. Much more homey than a regular hotel. - Good size and rooms. Good location and easy to get to key places. The shower was a little small.

- Elise (10/5): Traditional Japanese Style - So much more of a traditional stay than in the hotels. Decorated beautifully. Everything you could possibly need. My companion and i thoroughly loved the place and if i were to return to Tokyo,i would book it again.
- Dmitry (8/5): Very good -
- Lucas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohamad (10/5): Exceptional - I like the house design! it is small and minimalist but have all the facilities for us to use. And the house is very clean! It is also not so far from train station and family mart/7e is very near to the house. The owner is very helpful and attend to my question even at night. Nothing! Everything is perfect!
- Chin-yu (7/5): Good - i like the wood floors, water closet, toilet, kitchen, and lamps. pretty warm the stairs are pretty narrow
- Harvey (8/5): Very good - Not too far walk to train station. Nice traditional-style decor Slippers provided were too small, for a child
- Rexford (6/5): A low cost place in a low cost neighbourhood - This is a traditional low-cost house in a non-touristy Tokyo neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is in Japan, so it is safe, but in another country one would worry as it is in a very affordable large-scale housing estate.
There is a tatami room, with bedrolls for sleeping. The master bedroom has a double bed. None of the sleeping arrangements were comfortable, especially the master bedroom bed, which is a fold-down couch. We ended up sleeping on the floor instead! The single-paned windows didn't seal well in their frames, and your window is just above the road, so even though it is a neighbourhood, every single group walking by talking / cars arriving late at night will wake you up.
The washer is NOT a dryer. But there is a good place outdoors to hang up your laundry. It is a balcony, but it's not a balcony for a romantic drink watching the sunset--it's wedged up against 2 other houses.
- Krystian (8/5): Pretty, nice, classic, styly, quiet place. - Really nice classic style clean and quiet apartment just at the 1st floor stairs would be nice to have auto-light.
- Anna (8/5): Cozy and very beautiful traditional Japanese apartment. - The apartment is a typical traditional Japanese apartment which gave us the full flavour of being in Japan. We loved the architecture and the facilities around the house. There is everything you need.
The neighbourhood was very calm and it took about 10-15 min to get to the train station. It's a nice walk between small houses. The landlords were very nice too, we got to met a little the lady who lives down and she seemed lovely! Truly recommendable! Arigato! In general the house was cold. We switched on the air machine and it was better, but in general without it it's difficult to stay in. But as we used it, we loved it.

- Nooron (9/5): Superb -
- Javier (9/5): Superb -
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good -
- Yuyang (10/5): Awesome awesome experience, wish we had stayed longer - Great place equipped with anything we need. Love the traditional Japanese room and all beds are so comfortable. Landlord is polite and responds quick with what we need. Nothing
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kang (9/5): Good! - The room is really clean. The bed is not so comfortable for sleeping. It is not completely 'flat' for sleeping.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracy (6/5): Pleasant - One of the only places that accommodated our larger group. Location was very far from the station. The rooms were dusty and old. Not quite enough space for 8 people, and very noisy neighbours downstairs. The host tried to ask for more money 2 weeks after booking as she didn't know how to use Booking.com settings. Asked us to email full passport details, even though this is not required (and is already provided to Booking.com website). This caused a lot of stress, but eventually she agreed to honoured the originally listed price.
- Alexandra (8/5): Very good -
- Erwin (10/5): Great place and host - Quiet and peaceful. Friendly and supportive staff. Check oit Lumiere Shoppping Street. Nothing, really.
- Iman (10/5): It’s a quiet and quant area. Not much city noise. Everything was clean and complete for my family. - The property itself is easy to find and very clean. It’s quite a walk from the Tokyo station so be prepared if you’re carrying big luggage.
- Medardo (8/5): Very good - I liked the traditional Japanese home style. There was no hot water to shower.
- Sasaki (9/5): Great value near Tokyo! - -You'd have a hard time finding a better deal than this if you wanna visit the Ueno/Akihabara/Tokyo areas.
-For Japan, the place is pretty big, like renting a mini house!
-Lovely décor.
-DOUBLE ply toilet paper! -My only real complain would be that it was a bit on the noisy side, paper thin walls. Not for light sleepers.
"Other" comments: Bunch of mosquitos in the rooms! Help! Weirdly the toilet and shower window is connected. Said it had a spa, didn't find one. If you hate futons, oops, pass this location! Really dislike when they say "only X amount per night!! Oh, with a huge surcharge over the daily rate."
FOREIGNERS you need to switch the hot water on! The owner really needs to make this more clear!
- Medardo (8/5): Very good -
