- Norman (1/5): Don’t stay here. The building is undergoing refurbishment and the apartment has so many poorly maintained areas. Reall - On paper could be really nice as spacious and modern Dirty. Had not been cleaned with drink spillages on floor and all over ceiling; entire building under reconstruction so covered with scaffolding and not declared by the owner/ renter which is mis description; we were not told about this; bedside lights didn’t work; broken window blind. Toiletries provided were disgusting half filled and used by previous guests. Complained and ignored other than a clean on the second day removing worst of mess in living room.

1. Great location

4. Comfortable beds The Bad:
1. Had not been cleaned properly, we had to spend an hour vacuuming and cleaning the areas (see pictures). We paid £100 for cleaning!
2. Hair and crud on floors, rugs and beds
3. One bathroom only had a working toilet, no sink, now shower curtain and no bath plug
4. Fridge not cleaned out
5. Table had sticky patches over it
6. Brown stains on a new towel
7. Broken plug sockets and light switches
8. No instructions were left
9. Air con could not be switched off
10. TV was password locked by previous guests so no terrestrial TV was available
11. Showers and basins were not cleaned
12. One ensuite toilet blocked on second day, owner could not fix until after we left
13. With fabric sofa was dirty
14. 3 flights of stairs after the lift
The Ugly:
1. Dog mess, lots of its was all over the balcony left by yapping neighbour’s dog
- Enrique (7/5): Nice place, needs some attention to details to make it perfect. - The place inside was gorgeous — brand new everything but still felt really home. The location was great as well, super close to everything in Shoreditch. One of the bathrooms did not have a sink which made it a very poor experience for the person who had no private bathroom. The showers were very nice, but unfortunately, every time you showered, water went all over and flooded the outside of the bathrooms (which we then had to clean to make sure the wood didn't get damaged). There was nothing to hang the towels in the bathroom, and there were no shampoo or shower gel in bathrooms (Kind of expected when you travel to an expensive flat)
The balcony was FULL of dog poop (which I stepped on the first night I arrived and went to check out the view). The neighbor's dog, while super cute, was around our balcony all the time, pooping and peeing right in front of the doors.
Also, no coffee maker. Is this an English thing? It had top appliances, but really missing a morning coffee to enjoy them was very hard.
