- Jodie (1/5): Confirmed Booking Cancelled Late at Night - We booked two nights at 6pm while travelling because the friend we were meant to stay with went into early labour. The booking was accepted and full payment was taken immediately.
After booking, we made several attempts to obtain check-in instructions. Instead of providing them, we were asked personal questions about why we were travelling and the purpose of our stay. The booking had already been accepted and paid for, their role is to provide the accommodation at that point, not ask personal questions when they have already entered a contractual agreement.
At 9:30pm, the reservation was cancelled without explanation or apology, leaving us without accommodation late at night.
We were travelling with a pet as they advertise pet friendly, and after eight hours on the road there were virtually no options available at that hour. We ended up sleeping in our car on the side of the road.
After more than an hour dealing with Booking.com, we were told we would need to pay upfront again for alternative accommodation while waiting 10–12 days for the original refund to be processed. No immediate credit or practical solution was offered.
If last-minute bookings are an issue for Estelle, (the accommodation provider), availability settings should reflect that. Accepting payment and cancelling late at night left us in an extremely difficult, unsafe and completely avoidable position.

- Rebecca (10/5): Loved that we could bring our dog, Estelle and Lola were very helpful and informative made our stay easy and enjoyable - Beautiful large apartment style unit, so much bigger in person than photos. It was gorgeous!! We absolutely loved it!! Lovely balcony with cute seating to enjoy at any time of day or night. All facilities were fantastic!

The decor was beautiful.
The host was very helpful and accommodating. Couldn't get the fan to operate in the main bedroom.

Will stay again 🥂🙏 Bit noisy, common areas of property especially carpark need cleaning and updating.
Apartment needs a fire extinguisher, fire blanket and a first aid kit.
Regular check of smoke detectors
Maybe new towels etc at some point.

- Juliana (10/5): Exceptional - Estelle was easy to communicate with, and made herself available for anything we needed. The self check in is easy, and the apartment is comfortable and well decorated. It was clean and had absolutely everything we needed (shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, kitchen was well equipped etc). We were able to cook our meals, and a dog friendly property is not easy to find. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

- John (7/5): I would stay here again if the lounge chairs and TV and curtains were upgraded - The kitchen & Laundry has the most modern appliances. Instructions for the microwave & dishwasher were unavailable. Fortunately im a researcher so i solved the mystery by experimenting.
Most importantly the queen size bed was hard and comfortable The TV was old.
For several years several large 4K have been available. Most if the channels were useless
My wife likes to watch TV. The Sun shone in through the thin curtains for most of the morning making watching TV impossible. I recommend placing a material curtain behind the white cotton curtain behind both large windows on the north east corner
There is a need for lounge chairs with a high back.
I would pay more if these replacements occurred.

Beach only a short walk, Cavill Ave not far away either :) - Collecting keys from the lock box was easy, but there was no indication as to which unit it was? We had to knock on the next doors to establish it was Unit 6, top level. Unless I missed this information in the welcome??? A small welcome sign on the door or doormat would be helpful. Not knowing it was two flights of stairs without notice. My mum is 84, although she managed it, it limited her capability to come and go as she pleased. However, the air con throughout saved her :) We still would have stayed, but been better prepared.

Also a few too many repetitive emai - It was spacious, clean and contained all you needed Location on 3rd floor without a lift as my husband uses a walking stick. At the time of booking and paying we weren’t aware of this. We also weren’t aware this wasn’t a motel that it was a Airbnb

- Sue (8/5): Very enjoyable Recommended to any future renters taking above comments into account - Unit was fantastic and facilities top knotch not easy with the stairs taking dogs up and down, especially as we were concious that a lower neighbour was noise sensitive. Plus unable to park in underneath garage space due to height restrictions on my vehicle. The height wasn't displayed but once I was already in the driveway it was apparent my roof rack would not clear the dip .
This meant parking in the street.
