• Frédérique (8/5): Excellent et reposant dans un endroit très agréable! - La tranquillité, l’emplacement, la luminosité et le petit coin extérieur au bord des champs et tout proche des bains ! Odeur de la cheminée (fumée froide) un peu désagréable et persistante.

• Dritan (3/5): A place where you need to bring your own wood to heat the place! - If you enjoy winter adventures before even entering your accommodation, this place might be for you. The experience started with a treasure hunt: unclear signage and an entrance that was very hard to identify. When I finally found the door, I still couldn’t enter because the locker code was not functioning, adding another layer to the challenge. After several trips around the house in the snow—just to make sure I hadn’t missed the correct entrance—I finally made it inside, with wet feet as a bonus. The house welcomed me with authentic alpine temperatures, as the heating had not been turned on. The warmth only began to arrive the next day, giving me plenty of time to appreciate the cold atmosphere. There is a fireplace, which looks lovely—unfortunately without wood. Guests are apparently expected to source this themselves, possibly via international transport, which was a first for me. Even after raising these concerns, there was no meaningful attempt to improve the situation or heat the place promptly. All in all, a stay full of character, but sadly not the kind you hope for when booking accommodation. Disappointing overall.

• Marco Meinardi (5/5): Serious comfort issues, despite a good location and responsive host. - The courtesy and responsiveness of the host, the bathroom that was recently renovated and the location pretty close to the center of the village. The apartment was uncomfortably cold. We measured 17°C, with radiators barely warm and the one in the kitchen not functioning at all. There is a fireplace but, with a small toddler, we did not know how to operate it safely. The situation was made worse by old windows that let in significant drafts, forcing us to sleep wearing multiple layers to stay warm. After we raised the issue, the host promptly provided an electric heater, which was appreciated. However, it was undersized for the apartment and could only heat one room at a time. Although the apartment was generally clean, the underside of the toilet seat was dirty, suggesting it had not been properly cleaned. Furthermore, two of the four kitchen burners were not working. While the apartment appears cozy and partially renovated, it is clearly worn and in need of substantial upgrades. At the price being asked, it is not good value. Having stayed in Villars many times, I am familiar with the local market, and this property falls well below what should be expected.
• Nysgjerrig-Per (10/5): Exceptional comfortable place to stay - Exceptional comfortable place to stay. Slept well in the bed and had breakfast. We had a sunny day with blue sky.
• Christiane (9/5): Cosy place to spend a few quiet days in Villars. - The apartment is not big but has everything you need. It’s cosy and quiet. The bathroom seems to be rather new and is very pretty. They offered a bottle of wine as welcome gift which is a nice gesture. Coop and train 10 minutes walking distance. No Mountain View. A bit chilly but they provided blankets which was helpful.

• Wilco (9/5): Heerlijk appartement - Heerlijk mooi appartement op een goede locatie. Super leuk ingericht en hele fijne badkamer incl. Douchegel etc. Super compleet appartement. Openhaard ook heel gezellig! Matras aan de zachte kant en bovenbuurman soms wat luidruchtig.

• SAINI (4/5): Déçu quant à l'emplacement.. - Logement confortable et bien équipé. Interlocuteur facilement atteignable et serviable. En général la station de Villars trop chère et avec trop de voitures. La situation de la terrasse du logement dans un trou bordé de talus infranchissables sans vue sur la montagne comme annoncé.

On s'y sent tout de suite comme chez soi La salle de bain est moderne et fonctionnelle Les matelas seraient à remplacer (forme cuvette)

• Laurence (9/5): Un logement agréable et cosy - L’appartement était très joliment décoré, avec beaucoup d’attention et de goût. La communication a été vraiment très agréable, conviviale, réactive et il y avait même un cadeau de bienvenue. Merci beaucoup 🙏 Nous avons pu arriver plus tôt ce qui était très agréable. Le logement est calme, il y a une petite terrasse et on est à environ 10 minutes à pieds du centre de Villars. Il y a de la vaisselle en suffisance, c’est plutôt bien équipé. L’odeur de fumée dans l’appartement n’était pas très agréable. La TV est placée un peu trop haut ce qui occasionne des douleurs à la nuque.

• Janos (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect, quiet and beautiful. Everything you need is in close distance, shops, petrol.. etc. The rooms are good size and clean. The bathroom is recently re-furbished, spotless and stylish. The kitchen is a bit more tired than the rest of the apartment. Everything is still working, but could do some TLC. Probably the next project for the owners. Overall it was a good few days and we are happy.

The location was very good for a long term stay and it was very quiet and peaceful It was a little away from the city centre and there were no cafés very close by.
• Quill (7/5): Good location, close to the village. Small but cosy. It did felt quite pricey for the size. - Location was good. A short walk up the hill to the village and the bus stop. Apartment was clean and nice touches such as slippers for each guest. The bathroom was lovely. This is a very small property for four people. Given the cost of the apartment I would probably not stay here again.
