• Serkan (1/5): Be careful - The hotel is indeed located in a beautiful, historic building just as promised, but it might not be for everyone. First of all, the bathroom and kitchen are not located inside the apartment unit itself; you have to step out into the building hallway and cross over to access them. If you don’t mind this setup, it’s a truly magnificent experience! Plus, there’s one of Bern’s famous, historic bakeries right downstairs, which means the entire place is constantly overwhelmed by a heavy smell of dough all day long. However, we did have a pretty upsetting incident during our stay. When going to the restroom in the dark after midnight, we encountered a cockroach. Unfortunately, historic buildings can bring these kinds of surprises along with them. Overall, a unique experience with its own quirks.

Die Wohnung war perfekt sauber, stylish und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Großzügige Wohnverhältnisse und tolle Kaffeemaschine inkl. Kaffee - Merci Sara & Rob!
• Lilac (10/5): A beautiful apartment in the old city of Bern - The apartment is located in the heart of the old city, with bakery and restaurants very close by. The apartment was squeaky clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Checking in was very easy and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. It takes a while to get used to having the washroom and the kitchen separate from the apartment.

• Angela (9/5): Very characterful apartment, great facilities, in a beautiful part of town. - The apartment was spotless, located in beautiful part of the old town, just 10 mins easy walk from the station. Communication with the hosts was very quick and helpful. The organisation of the apartment is quirky, following the traditional design of the building - the living room and sleeping areas are on one side of the landing, the kitchen and bathroom are on the other side. It was not a problem for us, the building is very quiet and feels private and secure.
