• Paige (9/5): - First of all, communication was great and we were able to check in early. The location was great for us. 20 minute walk to Gastown & Costco 3 minutes away. Easy to Uber wherever we need it to. Great views. There was a few coffee pods to get us started. The mattresses were comfortable and it was nice to have a place that we could play cards at night with the dining table. Also, there was a glitch with the air conditioner but communication was great with the owner. And the noise level was awesome. You could not really tell that you were in the city. Forgot to mention they have a pool and gym for you to use. We used the gym. It was clean and not too busy. Only a couple things we didn't like. I wish we had some washcloths and that the towels were a little nicer. They were pretty thin. And three people of four didn't like the pillows. They were very big and lumpy. If you have a large car the parking spot might be too small. It is more of a compact car we had at Audi A6 that fit.

Xin was very accommodating with our needs for a slightly early check-in and surprised us with a thoughtful welcome pack. Close enough to the city centre to walk (Skyway train station is very close if needed) and very close to nearby Gastown with loads of shops and restaurants. Perfect apartment for 4 people. Maybe stick to the main roads if out after dark as the nearby neighbourhood unfortunately has many homeless people. (they don't approach you but a little distressing to see none the less)

• Gill (8/5): Nice base for a couple of days in Vancouver. - Great pool and gym. Nice to have a kitchen and seating space. Worked well for a party of 3. A plus to have some outdoor space. The property was smaller than it looked in the pictures and the balcony was dominated by the air conditioning unit. The area was ok but a little further from the centre than we expected and maybe a little too close to Chinatown for our liking. While we felt safe Vancouver as a whole has a problem with drug addiction and homelessness which is particularly problematic in China Town. While we didn’t have any problems it was evident on our walks into the centre and we took Ubers after dark.

• Sara (9/5): This place was great.clean, spacious and had nice amenities. Gastown was a short walk and Stanleypark was a pretty walk - Nice to have three bedrooms for a party of five. Common area was sunny and relaxing. Was nice to have pool, hot tub and gym. Not the owners fault but you needed a fob to go anywhere. With 5 people and two fobs took some coordinating at times.

• Lou-anne (5/5): This apartment misrepresents itself. There is no way that I could recommend it. - Nice views; excellent pool. Location was terrible. It was not downtown and is in a part of Vancouver where there is a shocking problem with homelessness. We were literally around the corner from the worst street in Vancouver. People whom we talked to were horrified that we were staying in that area because it is so dangerous. The apartment is three star at most. The door onto the balcony will not lock and there were abseilers cleaning the windows while we were there. It's extremely tacky how the portable air-conditioners have been installed. Dining table will only seat four and yet it is supposedly an apartment for five people. Beds are adequate but not particularly comfortable and the pillows are terrible. There were only three of us, but if there had been more, the third bedroom is appalling! It's a bed in a cupboard with no windows. The tiny balcony is difficult to access and has a very old wooden table and two chairs, so there is no way that you are going to sit out there. Showers over the baths are difficult for older people and there are no safety grab rails. No tissues are provided and shampoos and soaps are very basic. The location so close to the sky rail is extremely noisy. Maybe the apartment is double glazed but the alterations which have been made to accommodate the portable air-conditioners has probably stopped the double glazing from being effective. As a result, even in the beginning of June, the apartment gets very hot so I can't imagine what it would be like in Midsummer. What you get for the price is ridiculous. We could've stayed in a very upper market hotel down near the waterfront for the same price, but the advertising of this apartment and the photos and the reviews gave a very false impression of what you would get. Who made the most of it, but it was very embarrassing for me as I had recommended it.

• David (8/5): Very good - Great location and views in a modern apartment. Cleanliness of kitchen and cutlery/pans could have been better. Could improve with availability of oven trays and printed copies of instruction manuals. The adapted air con units weren't ideal and increased external noise. These were small negatives overall and the apartment was lively and was in a great location. The 3rd bedroom was essentially a cupboard with a poor fitting door.

• Sara (9/5): Excellent location downtown with great host. - The host for this place was very responsive and helpful when needed. The location is great, right downtown and across from Roger's Arena and a sky train station. Everything is within walking distance. Having a free parking spot was key in the city as well. The kitchen had everything we needed and the views were nice. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were closed for the month for cleaning/upgrades so be aware if you are booking in January as we had hoped to use those amenities.

Bathroom container with q-tips, and welcome snacks with water bottles were very nice touches. Extra towels would have bee nice, especially since we used pool and hot tub. 3rd "bedroom" was more like bed in a closet.

• Dox_dox (10/5): Exceptional - Two of the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The rooms are, pretty and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. It is walkable to Costco, groceries and convenient stores. The views are great too. I did not realize one of the bedroom is quite small. The light rail stops running at about 11:30 pm and starts some time around 5:30 am. If you and you group have light sleepers, the vibration and sound from the light rail could be problematic. It is also a little too warm in the room and the window style AC units are a little loud to run. Lastly, the dining chairs cracked and are somewhat flimsy, nothing major, but just need to be a little careful sitting on them.

• John (10/5): Exceeded expectations on this perfect spot for family with children. - Met all expectations and complimented our trip to the region. Very easy instructions to follow to check in, underground parking was a huge plus. Apartment has a decent view not only to the garden but also parts of the city skyline. Plenty of amenities so we didn't have to worry about bringing our own. Costco, mall food court and Chinese supermarket are all only within one block, making this an ideal base. Host was easy to communicate with and all together a very pleasant stay with our children. Nothing.

• Kiran (7/5): All in all a good stay. - Great apartment- clean, well equip, the swimming pool and gym were a plus. Location has its pros and cons. Pro's- central location, easy access to shops, sky train. Is also very easy to walk everywhere. Location con's- a lot of homelessness and openly using drug users on the street. The streets also reeked of urine. We had young kids and it was not great for them to witness. This is obviously out of control for the apartment owner, and is no reflection of the apartment complex or unit itself.

Location very convenient but also very close to Downtown Eastside. NOT somewhere you want to walk through (despite being on the way to the CBD and city centre) because of the thousands (literally) of semi-conscious drug users. Apartment very hot (in summer). Aircon struggled.

We had a wonderful host and his home exceeded our expectations, it is a really nice apartment, clean and well equipped. The Apartment was pristine, well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches, and everything you need for kitchen and bath. The apartment has a nice view, and it is in a really good location.
