• Jan (1/5): Terrible experience - Despite the fact that my reservation was fully confirmed and paid in advance, the accommodation was refused upon our arrival. We were forced to find another place to stay at our own expense.

• Kara (7/5): Good - The apartment is nice and very clean. The bed is comfortable. Location is good. The building is old. The elevator worked sporadically which was really annoying for a 6th floor apartment. The walls are thin and you hear the neighbors who are not quiet.

Fairly spacious and well fitted for cooking etc. There was no shower screen so baths were required or very careful showers. There was no wifi for the week as advertised. I believe the host was having problems with the provider.

• Qutaibah (1/5): In addition the apartment was advertised to have air conditioning upon arrival we were again shocked to find out that th - Upon arrival the owner informed us that the apartment is on the sixth floor and the elevator has been out of order and not working for the past six months she did not inform us before hand that the elevator would not be working and that we would have to go up and down six floors with our children and our luggage and our stroller on a daily basis . She then told us that the elevator would be fixed within 48 hours after we arrived and settled in and that the issue would be resolved. After 48 hours the elevator was not fixed and she told us that it would be fixed after another 48 hours. And again it was not . The elevator was not fixed till our departure. We were forced to take up all our luggage and our children six floors up upon arrival and to take old our luggage and our stroller and our children down again upon departure. Upon arrival we were shocked to find out how dirty the apartment was and it was saturated with smoke. The living room, the sofa, the bedroom the pillows all smelled like smoking cigarettes. Everything was very dirty and not cleaned the kitchen and the refrigerator was dirty in addition the bathroom was also dirty. The bedsheets and the towels were all unusable as they all stunk and had a strong stench. We were then surprised that the television didn’t work and the remote control was missing she promised us to provide us with a remote control within one day she was only able to provide a remote control only after three days on the fourth day. We were also misled about another issue as previously it was advertised that there would be free parking available with the apartment. There was no free parking and she instructed us to find parking somewhere around the surrounding blocks on the streets and to pay for parking or find paying parking lots in the close area. We had our car and had no choice but to pay for parking 24 hours a day throughout our stay and every night in the neighborhood parking lot.

• Rob (8/5): Great appartement on the edge of the city center of Düsseldorf - Nice apartment within walking distance of the central train station, approx. 20 minutes to Alt Stadt. Very complete kitchen. Beautiful view from the sixt floor. The bedding for the second bed and some towels were not dry yet (was drying on the balcony). Despite the beautiful kitchen, it is very tight to have breakfast there with four. The elevator was unfortunately broken so it was 6 floors up with the luggage.
