- Evan (3/5): Good location, and neat idea concept, but needs improvement and better cleanliness - Great location, the themes in the rooms were really nice too, and the outdoor activities were fun. It was easy to get in and out of the gated community. We arrived to a mess. Looked like someone made the beds, but then walked through the place eating chips and dropping crumbs all over the place. On the counter, half eaten crackers on the pillows, all over the floor, etc. Also hair all over the place. The place also seems to be poorly kept up with. There are holes in the walls from the door handles, scuffs and stains on the walls, carpet is in very poor condition, and the rugs and furniture are also badly worn. There are probably at least 50 remotes around the unit connected to different features and lights, and it seemed like maybe half of them actually worked. Like the star lights in the theater room did not turn on, and that was listed as one of the main features of this place. We also had to message the host any time we wanted to use the hot tub so she could turn it on from her phone app. I think most concerning was when I complained about the mess and condition of the place, the host responded by telling me I could leave without a refund and called me a scammer. After some back and forth, she stopped by the unit, I showed her pictures, and she offered to throw in the pool heat for free, which we said we didn't even need because we wouldn't be using it, but she refused to refund even the cleaning fee. Just very poor "customer service" all around.
