Sarah (9/5): - I had a great stay at Blu Ma’Cel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was fantastic. The entire Turkish breakfast spread was amazing, but my favorites were the homemade yogurt, chocolate, and peanut butter- truly, they were the best food experiences I had on my trip and I wish I could have bought them in bulk to take them home. All that food as a part of hotel breakfast was hard to believe! The staff were also very attentive to receiving my luggage, which was dropped off at the hotel from the airport a day after I arrived at almost midnight. The bed, comforter, and pillows were all very comfy, too. I would definitely stay here, again. Floors just little creaky

Karine (10/5): Everything you could want and more - The staff really make or break a place. We had Azer along with us for the five day trip and he did everything he can to make us comfortable. Nothing was impossible and then we had Bader on the breakfast roster every morning and I asked for a ton of coffee and orange juice and it was always provided with enthusiasm and a smile. All the team was super nice and accomodating and it felt like family. There is nothing not to like, it’s clean and pristine but pls remember it’s an old building so floors creek and you can hear neighbours talking but it’s still a beautiful place and I couldn’t see children so I assume it’s more of an adult hotel as rooms are limited in number.

Birgit (8/5): Super Aufenthalt in einer Top-Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. - Top-Lage in einer Sackgasse mitten im geschäftigen Viertel Sultanahmet. Die blaue Moschee ist fußläufig nur ca. 200 Meter entfernt, ebenso die Hagia Sofia und die Basilika Zisterne. Kleines Hotel, bemühtes Personal, wirklich gutes Frühstück und schöne Zimmer. Diese sind leider sehr hellhörig, bedingt durch den Boden - wir hören die Gäste oben gehen. Leider ist es auch eher laut, wenn man bei geöffneten Fenstern schläft - Viele Möwen und Katzen, die sich in der Nacht vergnügen. Sonst jedoch super tolles, sehr freundliches Personal, wir bekamen sogar ein Zimmer-Upgrade - und das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Insgesamt Preis/Leistungsverhältnis absolut toll. Hellhörige Zimmer und nicht allzu bequeme Betten.

Lea (9/5): Option parfaite pour un séjour confortable dans le centre d'Istanbul - Cet hôtel était idéal pour notre court séjour à Istanbul : parfaitement placé à deux pas de la place Sultanahmet, mais pour autant très calme et confortable. Notre chambre était spacieuse, bien équipée, propre et vraiment jolie. Le petit déjeuner était super, typique, délicieux et varié, de quoi avoir un bel avant-goût de la gastronomie traditionnelle locale. Le personnel s'est montré accueillant et très serviable tout au long de notre séjour, facilitant chacune de nos démarches et restant à l'écoute de tous nos besoins. Au moment du check-out, nous avons été un peu trop poussés à notre goût à laisser une bonne note (ou plutôt, à laisser un 10 quand j'ai dit que je comptais mettre un 9), allant même jusqu'à me demander de laisser le commentaire devant lui : c'est dommage, car je l'aurais fait sans qu'on me le demande, étant très contente de notre séjour, mais l'insistance du manager m'a mise très mal à l'aise, malgré son amabilité et ses nombreuses marques d'hospitalité très appréciables le reste du temps. Probablement juste une différence culturelle j'imagine.

Avendo una camera a piano terra, le finestre erano sigillate e quindi non era possibile far circolare un pò d'aria.

Mörkläggningsgardinerna täckte inte fönstren, och det fanns inget eluttag vid tredje sängen. Saknade också ett draperi mellan de två rummen för större privacy.

Отличное расположение — удобно добираться до главных достопримечательностей Стамбула, рядом много кафе, магазинов и остановок транспорта. Номера чистые, уютные, уборка проводилась каждый день. Персонал вежливый и всегда готов помочь, особенно понравилось внимательное отношение на ресепшене. Завтраки разнообразные и вкусные, с красивым видом на город. Из плюсов также хочется отметить хорошую шумоизоляцию и комфортные кровати — после долгих прогулок по Стамбулу это особенно важно. Wi-Fi работал стабильно на всей территории отеля. В целом, это отличный вариант как для туристической поездки, так и для короткого отдыха. С удовольствием остановился(ась) бы здесь снова и могу рекомендовать этот отель другим путешественникам.

La porte de notre suite était à moins de deux mètres du compteur de la réception. Nous entendions ce dernier regarder ces vidéos sur son téléphone le soir. La douche n’était pas confortable et mérite d’être réparée ou changée.

Кекух (8/5): За таку ціну і пропонованими послугами - якість не дуже. Багато пропонують, а по факту це лиш на папері - Чудове розташування! Вперші дні перебування на рецепції був хлопець з Азербайджану. Дуже душевна людина. У всіх запитах допомагав. У ванній кімнаті було дуже холодно, тяжко було прийняти душ, бо навіть роздягнутися у такому холоді не дуже хотілось, плюс багато грибку. У бронюванні вказано, що безліміт снеків. Це не правда, просто серед дня тобі приносили два-три снеки у кімнату. Як на мене - це не безліміт. Усі писали про чудовий сніданок. Я з цим не погоджуюсь. Одноманітний. Per (8/5): Hyggeligt og centralt beliggende hotel med god service 👍 - Et hyggeligt lille hotel med en super central beliggenhed i forhold til mange af de store seværdigheder i den gamle del af Istanbul. Personalet yder en rigtig god service, og er meget hjælpesomme med information og gode tips. Der serveres en rigtig fin tyrkisk morgenmad. Værelset (nr. 202) var fint og hyggeligt, så den eneste mangel vi kunne få øje på var, at der fint kunne have været monteret en knagerække til overtøj - alternativt bør der være mere end bare to bøjler i klædeskabet! I badeværelset kunne det ligeledes have været fint med en hylde eller et underskab under vasken til toilettasker.

Elisabeth (6/5): Inte riktigt så bra som raitingen säger - Låg mitt i centrum Sängen var inte skön! Det knarrade i taket från gäster som bodde ovanför! Så fort någon kom in genom huvuddörren hörde vi det inne i rummet! Och frukost bara från 8 , om man nu behöver åka lite tidigare, kunde ju något erbjudas! Kakor vi fick var oätliga!

Alexandr (10/5): - Очень отзывчивый, любезный и готовый помочь с любым вопросом персонал. Шикарные завтраки, после которых можно даже не обедать. Чистые, современные номера, с хорошим набором гигиенических принадлежностей, есть даже маска для сна и беруши. В самом центре города, в пяти минутах от "Голубой Мечети" и площади Султанахмед, откуда ходит трамвай Т1. Слабовата звукоизоляция номеров, но для этого вам выдают беруши.

Russell (5/5): Advertised as upscale but definitely not. - An acceptable, mid-range hotel close to the major tourist sites but in a tacky area. The shower included a Turkish hamam, which was the one nice touch. The Booking listing made this look like a luxury, boutique hotel. It is not. There is no lobby -- just a small desk with a chair and a laptop in a dark hallway. Breakfast was fine but not great. Our room was advertised as a "suite," which it most certainly was not -- this was just false advertising. Not even a particularly large room. The mattress was extremely soft. Hard to control the heat. Cats were screeching outside the windows in the middle of the night. It wasn't horrible, but I certainly would never return.

Patrick (10/5): Großartiges Hotel, tolle Mitarbeiter - Perfekte Lage in Sultanahmet, in unmittelbarer Lage zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Unmittelbare Anbindung an ÖPNV. Fantastischer Support des Hotel Staff, sehr unterstützend bei allen Themen. Großartiges türkisches Frühstück. Nichts. Es handelt sich um ein älteres Haus mit viel Charme, ab und an etwas hellhörig, aber nur geringfügig.
