• Rhys (1/5): In the end we cancelled two of our three nights and was successful in getting a full refund which some staff from the pr - The location was outstanding. Such a great area of Sydney if you’ve never been before as you are right amongst the northern Beaches. I don’t know where to start. There was so much wrong with the property that led to us cutting our stay short and successfully getting a refund. The outside area looks like arubbish tip, as per the photos. Windows in bathrooms and one of the main bedrooms could not be closed securely. There were no fire safety standards being met beyond one smoke alarm, which goes against the New South Wales fire regulations for a short-term rental accommodation property. There were lamps with non-Australian specific plugs. The mattresses were very hard, one in particular was like a rock. Showerhead was broken. The same shower also leaked at the floor. Several appliances including air conditioning units required us to use Google translate technology as they weren’t in English, making it even more difficult on top of everything else.
• Jenny (9/5): We all enjoyed the accommodation at Castle Cove and loved the view. - The location was quiet and peaceful. Transport without a car was easy using Uber taxis. The house is spacious and clean. The view was amazing. Outside the house was messy and off putting - nothing like the interior which was lovely. The steps down to the accommodation had no handrail and were dangerous - especially when carrying luggage and at night.
