Guest Reviews
- Kris (9/5): Great stay for my parents who found the cottage very comfortable and an ideal base to stay while in Hobart. - Charming, warm, location
- Suzi (9/5): -
- Kathleen (10/5): A perfect place to stay while discovering Hobart - Beautiful house with lots of charm and light. The underfloor heating in the bedroom and bathroom was so nice on a rainy evening. Nothing
- Stuart (10/5): - The property was well maintained and cosy. Great location with a bus stop to the city immediately outside. Parking is a challenge and the allocated garage is difficult to access if your car is large and other cars are parked opposite the entrance
- Liz (10/5): A cosy relaxing stay - Great location and fantastic recommendations left by the owner. Decorated beautifully. Nothing - it was great
- Brentzar (10/5): Exceptional - The house is in a great location & is absolutely gorgeous. It has everything possible you could need for a comfortable stay. Nothing
- Martoons (7/5): Cute cottage Hobart - Good little house... great location... creek / nature trail/walk nearby with a short walk... nice cafes / bakery nearby... pretty area... good kitchen... bath style shower... large lounge room... can get free parking in hospital carpark opposite... overall it was very comfortable... Really great... the only little issue with me was just the traffic noise in the front room...it's (the traffic) is very constant... but it is on a main street so there's that... as well as the bright street lights...but the blind works well for this... probably just me anyway... bed was super comfortable... the lock box combination is hard to access... (so small) but that's probably just me too... overall very nice house... internet wasn't working while I was there but I had my own... overall very nice...
- Cassandra (9/5): Superb - Fabulous property. Very clean and inviting. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower pressure was excellent.
My only suggestions would be to have proper blinds in the bedroom as the top window has no cover . I would also suggest that the property is not advertised with a garage as it is near impossible to access in the narrow laneway shed and you will likely get blocked in by parked cars.

- Matthew (9/5): Stunning property with unexpected and welcome surprises in an brilliant location! - We loved the house - it was stunning and had so much charm. I personally loved the sky light in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The heating under the floor was also an unexpected but very welcome surprise! The location was amazing, within walking distance to shops, cafe's, playgrounds and the Rivulet where we saw a Platypus numerous times. I'm not much of an electric cooktop fan, but that's personal preference - there was really nothing about the house we didn't like - it was perfect for what we wanted :) The only other thing, again, personal preference, was that the shower is in the bath - I prefer them separate but that's just me...
- Laura (9/5): Perfect stay! - We stayed 5 nights in this quaint, cosy little cottage in a nice area of Hobart, close to some grocers and coffee shops, and there is a quiet pub across the street. The cottage is the perfect size for two parents and two children. The rooms have a lot of charm. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking at home. There is a lovely little garden at the back which gives a beautiful view from the windows. Perfect stay! Would love to return one day.
- Joeri (10/5): Exceptional - Spectacular cottage, nicely renovated, superb location. We loved it.
- Ankie (10/5): Excellent choice for friends and families - Gorgeous renovated cottage with all the necessary facilities. My compliments for the excellent services we received and we would recommend this accommodation to anybody. No comments as it was all very good
- Robyn (10/5): Perfect place for two couples or a couple and two kids - Warm, cosy and clean in great location Nothing we didn’t like
- Diane (10/5): An idyllic and quiet location, a comfortable house with lovely courtyard - The location was ideal, great access to the CBD and local facilities as well such as local shops, Cascade Hotel, and Cascade Brewery. No saucepans in the kitchen
- Susan (8/5): The cottage was lovely, and close to everything we needed. - We ate out so did not use any cooking facilities. Signing your life away through 3rd party to book cottage was daunting and cost more. Never had to do that before. The paperwork to read through almost put us off. Given few hours if wanted to change our minds or cancel and would've lost all money if we did. My husband and I sleep separately due to him snoring so we have to rent cottages to go away to have extra bedroom.
- Gopi (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (10/5): We were more than happy with this beautiful cottage, so close to everything, very warm comfortable and homely. The perf - Beautiful stylish property, very comfortable and super clean. Location was perfect. It had everything we needed. The cottage is warm and cosy, perfect size to share with friends. Nothing - it was perfect.

- Robyn (9/5): Superb - Great location 15 minutes approx to city.Hop on and off bus just down the road. Great pub and hospital across the road. Clean cute and comfortable. Easy to cook if you were staying in for the night. Fantastic deli shops across the road. Good heating. Couldn't use the garage because of neighbors blocking access on the narrow back street. The Superhog bond scheme was strange. I completely understand the need, but felt hounded by this company.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good - Lovely house which was well furnished and had everything you needed. About a 20 minute walk into central Hobart especially lovely if you get onto the rivulet track. On a fairly busy road. The garage would only take a small car. Fortunately we were there at a weekend so parking outside the house was unrestricted, not sure what we would have done midweek. We had to be verified then pay a substantial (£500) security deposit through an agency called Superhog. Something I have never done before. They also charged me an administration fee for this.
- Robyn (10/5): Lovely - cute little house that feels like home. Lovely sitting places inside and out, has all facilities. No traffic sound at night, all double glazed. Good location out of city but close to Rivulet walk, bus, other attractions like Women's Factory and Cascades Brewery Comfort like home
- Noeline (10/5): Very comfortable. Beautiful historic property and the back garden was a perfect place to sit. - The location was great for our travelling around southern Hobart. Shops within walking distance made it a very easy stay. I didn't realise the house was on a noisy road. Nothing can be done about that unfortunately.
- Imogen (10/5): Great place - cosy, comfortable, great location and has everything you need. - Great place - cosy, comfortable, great location and has everything you need.
