Helpful, responsive host. - The property was exactly as advertised and had all the comforts of home - after long drive from Sydney, managed to do laundry and laundry line outside had my clothes dry quckly; managed a home cooked meal as all kitchen equipment including a rice cooker besides stove, microwave and fridge was provided. The place was clean and thanks alot for all the extras i.e. coffee/tea, laundry detergent and dish washing liquid - it was most thoughtful. Parking was easy as it was next to the unit. The host was responsive esp. when called about local water issues which was resolved quickly. The location was convenient as the train station was nearby and the shops (restaurants, supermarket) just a short walk away Only slight problem was the bed but it was most just my personal problem as I have a bad back and the mattress was a bit soft but other family members were fine with it.

Free internet, Netflix electric blankets and air conditioning was excellent. Some small issues that would improve the property. No dining table and chairs, second bed was very noisy when you moved in it, bathroom door knob and lock is very fiddly and can lock you in the bathroom, some kitchen cupboard doors need adjusting so they shut better & no potato masher. ,

• Ariesa (8/5): A great little unit for a long or short stay - A great space to stay in for the 4 nights we were there. Well furnished & clean with everything we needed and close to the shops. Included secure parking on site. Marios was a great host, responding promptly to my messages. The front door was a little hard to open at times after placing the code in. Beds were comfortable but the fragrance from the detergent in the bedding & towels were too strong.
• Rex (1/5): - Next to train station Not value for money. Never recommend. No AC in rooms. Small rooms. Squeaky beds. Not much privacy as units are joined to one another.
• Vicky (7/5): Ok. - Chosen for facilities as a family over a hotel - ie separate room for child and cooking facilities. Water & milk in the fridge for arrival. Surface clean. Washing up liquid, sponge and napkins in the kitchen. Shampoo etc in the shower. Washing machine! Close to train station. Cracked bedroom window, dial missing from the hob, plates with chips/cracks, screws through the windowsill from the door into the kitchen (with a child - not good!), wifi issue on our first stay, tv issue on our second stay. No where to really unpack a bag when staying beyond a clothes rail in 1 room. Very limited hot water. Reference to keys in the booklet with no keys to be found. Rear door has only a tiny sliding barrel lock on it; felt very unsecure. Gate was rarely closed.

• Jade (10/5): Our stay was lovely and would definitely recommend - The host was very friendly and helpful when I contacted for any questions I had the apartment was very clean and tidy and smelt lovely The rug in the lounge room slipped around alot and feel it maybe a bit of a tripping hazard maybe a none slip mat underneath maybe and good idea.

• Mrinal (8/5): Excellent value for a small family - location right next to the station, gated property, plenty of parking space, proximity to shops, quiet neighbourhood, good value for money. At the same price, I could have got a small hotel room in the city. However, this one allowed us 2 bedrooms a living room and kitchen at the same price. Considering I have a toddler and she was able to run around freely - I would go for this option again if I have to. The owner was in touch with me and was available when required. it was a bit cold - thanks to the 'always open' exhaust window in the bathroom. However this was compensated by a good heat pump which worked well. The beds had electric warmers and there were extra blankets provided. The bathroom door lock was a bit rickety - minor issue though

• Tay (9/5): Very clean , comfortable and secured place to stay. Just look into the small comment above. - Location is good and entering the property was smooth. Clean and quiet accommodation. Parking in the compound is easy and safe It is a shared bathroom( with toilet inside in one room) between the 2 rooms in one town house. It will be much convenient if the toilet can be separated from the bathroom. Bathroom door can't be locked. Once locked, very difficult to open. We have to leave it unlocked but merely close the door when using the toilet or taking bath. It would be helpful to have a clear instruction on the wall on how to use the dryer( which is a combined unit with the washing). Unfortunately this washing cum dryer machine is also in the same big room of the toilet and bathroom.

Close to the Thomastown train station for a direct line to the CBD and plenty of restaurant options, plus IGA all in close walking distance. Parking available onsite in secure gated yard. The property was well equipped and even had washing machine/dryer available. Comfortable beds, lounge and clean kitchen and bathroom. Would recommend without hesitation and would definately come back ourselves. Nothing - it was great!

• Nadine (8/5): Lovely stay for a family of 4 adults - Love the electric blankets, the unit was nice and warm. Shower pressure was great and warm water always available. The kitchen was very well equipped for all our cooking needs. The Thomastown train station that will take us right into the CBD at Flinders Station is less than 5 mins walk away. It was also safe, we could park our car right next to our unit and the lodgings are secured by an electric gate. Not much to be negative about. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would certainly recommend anyone to stay there. All was fine. The only negative comment I have is that while the bed was comfy, it creaked each time I got up from the bed.

Marios replied promptly to any questions. Alexander Street was very crowded and narrow, but off street parking was convenient. The train station was very close.
