- Cristina (8/5): Buena ubicación para visitar Londres - La ubicación es muy buena, está muy bien conectada Es un poco ruidoso
- Graeme (8/5): - Location good. Flat was basic but clean and comfortable for family of 5. Was perfect for a few days out and about in town. Only 10min walk to nearest tube stop.
- Marcin (9/5): -
- Aurore (8/5): - Emplacement pratique avec des bus vers le centre et les points d’intérêts touristiques
- Guest (8/5): Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a good base while visiting London. - The location is excellent, just over 5mins walk from the nearest tube station (Caledonian Rd) on the main Piccadilly line so easy access to central London.
The flat is a perfect base, clean, reasonably well appointed, easy to settle in and feel comfortable. There were plenty of sockets for our devices and good wifi.
Communication with the host was good and as we had told them what time we were due to arrive, when we reached the flat the fans were on, cooling the rooms. This was a lovely, much appreciated touch as the weather at the time of our visit was hot!
The pictures we were sent of the front access/keybox were also very useful in quickly locating the flat. In all honesty there wasn't anything we "didn't like", the flat is exactly as described and had all we needed for a very enjoyable stay. That being said, a few minor adjustments would have really topped things off.
The flat is painted a crisp clean white and the light bulbs in all the main lights are bright white. This meant in the evenings it felt very stark and harsh and quite clinical. Changing the bulbs to warm white would make a huge difference. Bedside lamps (and possibly a lamp in the dining/living room) would also be very useful.
The only other thing we noticed was that the sheet left for the sofa bed was a bit too small, (easily done when handling multiple loads of bedding). As we were able to make it work we did not feel it was important enough to bother the host who I'm sure would have rectified it.
- Alison (7/5): Good -
- Li (5/5): This property could do with improved glazing and general decor upgrade. - Clean bedding and friendly host. Mould in kitchen and bathroom and there were ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Very noisy at the front where the bedrooms were because of traffic and people and only single glazing. Could do with an extra lock because the Yale didn’t feel very secure. No curtain or blind in the kitchen/lounge area.
- Alexandros (8/5): Very good - The location was fantastic, and the Elaine was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment is great but it needs a bit more information to be fully operational. Having some information in how to use the TV and the washing machine ect will improve the expirience.
- Ho (10/5): Exceptional -
- Audrey (8/5): Very good - Central location Broken window
Noisy because of the traffic outside
- Jason (8/5): Good place for a family with teenagers - Location and ease of access
Sensible sofa bed set up
Bath - bonus!! Noisy from the road
Everything else great
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Diego (7/5): Good value for money apartment, i recommend - Location was good, close by train and bus station, some markets and restaurants nearby as well. Noisy because of upstairs neighbor, siren and a little of mold.
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jef3 (7/5): Excellent base station to visit London but can be noisy at night - Brilliant location, steps away from bus station with very frequent schedule to the center of London. Lots of restaurants to chose from in the direct vicinity, as well as a supermarket for self-catered people. Free Wi-Fi and smart TV were appreciated. Noisy ! Windows and window frames in the sleeping rooms are outdated and doesn't attenuate the circulation noise coming from the (very busy) street. Ants in the kitchen.
- Martin (8/5): Very good - The apartment has a great location just next to an Overground station and is very well-serviced with several bus lines. The apartment is furnished in a simple and useful way with all needed necessities (a coffee machine with some pods was a nice touch).
- Naomi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dimitrios (7/5): Nice clean place multiple modes of transport but shaky - The place is really close to multiple modes of transport and it is really easy to get to the centre of London(Piccadilly,Leicester,Soho etc.).It was really clean when we got there and Elaine was helpful with the info she gave us before we got there We felt like the whole apartment was shaking with every step taken! It was a bit weird at first. It was pricy for our standards but generally for London I think is a fair price
- Jaime (9/5): Superb - The flat was very clean and equipped.
- Polina (7/5): It was fine, but needed a lot of compromising from the group. - Location was fantastic. Host was friendly and we had a wonderful welcome. High ceilings and comfy beds made the apartment pleasant to stay in. The kitchen had enough plates, utensils, cups, and bowls to accommodate our group of 5. There were clean towels and sheets to spare for all members of our group. One of the rooms had a crack in the window, so it had cold air blowing non stop. The kitchen only had one very dull knife for all the cutting. The water in the kitchen sink didn't drain properly. The laundry machine and the entire apartment smelled of mold.
- Aine (9/5): Lovely apartment close to good transport links - The apartment was spotless. We were a group of 4 adults and one teen and it suited us perfectly. The beds were comfortable and the location was very central with a bus and overground station within 4 min walk. The host was very responsive to messages during our stay and extremely helpful. Nothing.
- Simone (7/5): Comfortable place to stay and use as a base. - Lovely and clean flat. Nice touch finding things like Tea, coffee, sugar and kitchen paper there - only needed to buy milk to have a nice cuppa! Nearly co-op was handy to buy extra provisions. The windows at the front are old (some cracked) and need replacing, so the sound proofing was poor in the bedrooms, as they faced a very busy road. Bring ear plugs!
The lounge would have felt a lot more cosy and welcoming if there was a little side lamp somewhere instead of the having to use the big overhead, ceiling light. Only really an issue during autumn winter though.
- Michelle (10/5): Really enjoyed it - Lovely comfortable and clean property Nothing
- Michele (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, safe, close to public transit.
Perfect!
- Edmondo (10/5): Exceptional - Tutto All wonderful
- Imogen (9/5): Superb -
- Yuhua (8/5): Very good - It is very close to many famous location, and have many restaurants and groceries around,so it's very convenient to everywhere,. we didn't know the WiFi code.
- Lucia (10/5): Exceptional - Loved that the bus atop was right ourside the flat. The Overground station was within 200 meters of the flat. And there was another station just 600 meters away.. Lots of places to eat by the apartment. The noise outside the apartment you could hear, but it did not bother me at all cause once i climed into bed i was lights out after having explored london during the day..
- Yvette (9/5): Super comfortable and well-equipped place to stay - Everything we needed was there including comfortable beds with lovely fresh bed linen. Impressive! And close to great bakery and an Ethiopian restaurant which was a bonus.
- Marek (10/5): Great location. - Clean and cosy.
- Zixuan (9/5): Superb - Really convenient location, friendly host, quick reply
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynn (4/5): ok for one night - location very loud was as if the windows were open so didn’t sleep well
- Vikram (8/5): good location, pricworthy, bring your headphones ! - really central location with good value for money. it’s hard to sleep as bedrooms are located street facing and not sufficiently insulated/sound proof. it gets quite noisy.
