From the front window we could view the water and native birds in the birdbath . Our stay here truely was so good for the soul.

Many lovely and thoughtful touches throughout. The breakfast hamper was beautiful, delicious and more than expected. The view to the water was so relaxing and we enjoyed a walk on the beach every afternoon.

• Kristy (10/5): Cozy timber cabin with spectacular views. - Such a cozy living space with lots of thought put into it. We could have stayed a week longer! Views were absolutely spectacular. Lots of things do including yoga, reading, painting and birdwatching. Amazing breakfast hamper with local produce. Would 100% recommend! Bathrooms could do with some hooks.
• Loretta (10/5): Magical Bruny Island - I had booked the cabin as a birthday treat for a dear friend during her visit to us in Tasmania. This also ended up being a treat for my husband and I. The pictures really didn't do the property justice. We were enchanted from the moment we arrived. Cleanliness, quality bed linen and towels are always top of my list and this was excelled and the property is very well cared for. From the moment you step from the car and enter the porch with fresh flowers, lush chairs and a blackboard sign welcoming us, the house carried the tasteful theme of someone who has thought of how they want to engage in living and making guests equally comfortable and cared for. There are areas for relaxation, a yoga corner, studio/desk area for capturing your own sketch or art work of the enfolding view of the bay, reading in quite corners, simply star gazing or watching the numerous wildlife. Local produce was the star in the breakfast hamper and goods available in the pantry. Having operated bed and breakfast for a number of years we were impressed with the commitment to giving a true local experience. While we did not cook a evening meal there is a comprehensively fitted kitchen and a bar-b-cue with wood stacked ready. There is much more we could say but half our enjoyment was discovering the small deft touches. We truly appreciated someone really having given thought to how a stay can be turned into a perfect experience. Thank you!

From the couch, we watched pademelons, cockatoos and dolphins - all before exploring the island. There was space for yoga, art and reading - and the supplies provided. The welcome basket was fabulous, with eggs, delicious bread, fruit, breakfast cereal - everything we would have wanted, even an edible flower posy. Plus a very well stocked pantry. A great location for relaxing and exploring Bruny Island. We’ve already recommended it to friends! Too short a stay!

• Anmi13 (10/5): - Das Strandhaus hat eine wunderbare Lage mit Blick auf das Meer und einem traumhaften Sonnenuntergang. Das liebevolle eingerichtete Haus hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Eine große Küche mit verschiedene Teesorten und Kaffee, frisch gebackenes Brot, Cookies, Fudge, Eier und viel Obst standen für uns in der Küche bereit. Sehr großzügiges Grundstück, mit Terasse und 2 überdachten Außensitzen gab uns viele Möglichkeiten draußen zu sitzen und die Natur zu beobachten. Wir wurden von Wallabies begrüßt und auch ein Papagei kam zu Trinkstelle. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser geschmackvollen Unterkunft sehr genossen und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

• Katrina (10/5): A serene paradise - The views were superb, the beds were super comfy and the decor was gorgeous! All the thoughtful homey touches like the gift basket with staples and home-made breads and bikkies just made it even more special. I wish i had booked here for longer. I fear that this property will become super popular in the future and because i really wNt to be able to return.

Quiet and peaceful, close to the beach and wallabies came to the front lawn every day. Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay. Really recommend Cabin by the Sea if you’re staying in Tasmania.
• Louis (10/5): Lovely place in the nature! - A very peaceful place, beautifully designed and decorated, with special touches that truly surprised us (Homemade breakfast). A big thank you to the host! I highly recommend this accommodation. You will feel completely immersed in a different world, relaxed and able to fully connect with nature. At the end of the day, wallabies and birds greet you in the garden. This place is perfect, and I suggest staying at least two days to fully enjoy it. Nothing but wonderful things to say about it.

The cottage provided all the ammenities plus more! There were some very thoughtful additions which made it feel like a home from home. We were welcomed by a basket of fresh bread, eggs, fruit and cookies. I would definately recommend this property and would like to return.

We enjoyed the interesting book collection, the natural aspect of decorations such as shells and beautiful indoor plants. Arriving to fresh eggs, sour dough, fruit and basic pantry items was great. The fully stocked artist desk was amazing too. The house was warm when the weather was cool. It was hard to leave such a welcoming home.

There are plenty of books to read by the fireplace, or have a go in drawing some cute birds in the drawing room. Awesome view of the sea and expect some visitors (wallabies) at dawn:) Rachel is a great host and easy to communicate with. • Annegelique (10/5): - From the moment we drove up, I loved it. Walking inside it smelt divine the view was to die for, there was fresh bread, eggs and some cookies what a lovely touch. The furnishings are just beautiful. we enjoyed our stay so much and hope to come back again next year. This cabin is amazing 👏
