Guest Reviews
- Zübeyde (10/5): Im Großen und Ganzen angenehmes Aufenthalt. - Sehr gute Lage ! Sauber übenommen. Große Zimmer. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zimmer im untergeschoss sehr kühl. Im sommer perfekt. Braucht man nachts keine Klimaanlage. Sehr hellhörich, nachbarn konnte man nachts reden hören.
- Mehmet Akif (7/5): İyi - Konum güzel, yatak sayısı yeterli. Ev yeterince temiz, checkin çok kolay. Otopark sorunu yok. Yakınında marketler var. Kısa süreli konaklamalarda gayet iyi. Mahalle biraz eski ve kötü. Bodrum kat basık ve boğucu. Banyo ve Wc sayısı yetersiz.
- Cruxpot (7/5): Big apartment for large families in a very good location - Biggest advantage is the location. This apartment is walking distance to old town, lots of shopping in the middle of Antalya, ATMs, banks, restaurants, you name it. You don't need a car here and can easily walk, get a taxi (taxi stand a few blocks away) or ride the trolley if you get a metro card for that (we didn't). It has a full kitchen with the basics to make a breakfast and cook some basic dinners.
Secondly, the place is very spacious for a large group. It has two bathrooms with one attached to a master downstairs. It's also on the first floor so if you have a lot of bags or bad knees, then no problem getting in and out of this place.
The Internet speed was extremely fast if that matters to you. He has fiber with Turk Telekom and it was over 500 Mbps, the fastest I've seen in Turkey at hotels and villas. You will have no problem streaming or downloading large amounts of data with the wifi here.
It has security on the door to the apartment building with pin code required and another door that requires a code outside (though that door provides little security since you can jump the wall). It's good because it makes it a little harder for people off the street to just walk into the building. The furniture is very cheap and busted. One bed in a bedroom downstairs was caved in but my small child could sleep on it since she was short. Beds were rock hard and my back suffered. Living room couch and ottoman had broken internal parts. The tables and shelves in the bedrooms are made out of cheap thin balsa wood slats and some were busted or leaning because it is just so poorly built with zero durability. The host really needs to put some money into the furniture because it reduces the quality of the experience. Beds and sofas need to be good quality. Save your money in other areas, not in guest comfort.
The wifi upstairs does not reach the downstairs area. There is a wifi access point downstairs in the hallway, but it was not set to the name and password what the host said it was. Someone reset it back to factory defaults which can be found on the sticker underneath. It is not as fast as the upstairs wifi. Recommend the host fixes this.
Two A/Cs had some issues kicking on and needed a breaker flipped to get working or some kind of jazz. We boiled in the living room one day, when that unit put out warm air, but he did respond later that evening and help get it working.
Living room is a little on the small side. Keep that in mind if you have a large group, it's cozy. It's on two levels and most of the bedrooms are in the basement level. There is some sunlight from ceiling windows.
A blind in the living room quit working and it's on first level with a million cars and pedestrians walking by so the privacy was greatly reduced with just a thin curtain. He didn't get around to fixing it even though I asked.
Host was friendly and helpful, but he's shy and did not give us a tour and really like to show up in person when we needed help. We didn't get a pin code to the building and exterior door which is some basic stuff and should be part of a basic 10 minute tour.
- Olusegun (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ameena (10/5): Exceptional - I liked the fact that you didn't even need ac on at night as the place was very cool at night. Everything was nice.
