• Astrid (10/5): Schöne Dschungel-Oase mit vielen Tieren - Andrea und James sind tolle Gastgeber und sorgen dafür, dass man sich rundherum wohl fühlt. Man sieht, dass alles mit Liebe gestaltet ist und fühlt sich total naturverbunden und kann viele Tiere direkt vom Balkon aus beim Kaffee trinken beobachten. Auch wenn es nicht direkt an der Küste liegt, ist der Strand in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Damit hat man dann beides, Dschungel und Meer in einem.
• Chrisje (10/5): Het hof van Eden in het paradijs - Alles, de stilte, de accomodatie is zeer sfeervol, met zorg en aandacht voor detail ingericht. We voelden ons heel welkom door de vriendelijke ontvangst van James en Andrea. Wat een fijne mensen! Niets
• Mirjana (10/5): loved it❣️ - we liked the architecture, the peacefullness, it was in the middle of the nature, the host is super friendly and kind, the nearest supermarket and sodas are just five mins drive and the coast with the national parks with plenty to see and beaches to swim and surf not even 30 mins away.

• Sofia (10/5): Exceptional - This place is just wow! It will take your breath away. It has been our favourite place on our trip to Costa Rica. If you like adventurous stuff and places totally in nature you won't be disappointed. Moreover, Andrea and James are two wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. The breakfast is great. (Francesca and Mattia) Not have been able to stay more.
• Maddalena (10/5): Unique off grid paradise - Perfect remote paradise, open kitchen with jungle view, wake-up call by howling monkeys. Lovely and familial atmosphere, you feel right at home and well cared for immediately. Lovely couple, they take care of everything. Unique location with a lot of heart and craftsmanship perfection. If you're looking for a quiet, private place, it's highly recommend! Tipp: book the optional breakfast! special wishes are possible (we wanted vegan and got way more than expected) Thanks a lot for this amazing stay Andrea & James! Nothing negative
• Uta (10/5): do it. - I agree with the praise: incredible location- waking up by the awakening jungle in the morning- spotting tucans, colobries, monkeys, over coffee i- it felt very safe and at the same time like an adventure out, it felt like a sleepover in a (luxury!)treehouse…designed with an eye for beauty, using natural resources. We stayed longer then intended. The shower was lovely and lush, providing refreshment in the tropical climate. It is best suited for people who travel by car (4x4) ways are short but lead up gravel roads. James pointed us to great locations, encouraging to explore more authentic and remote corners of the area - drawing maps, pointing us towards lovely local friends and the best beaches, hidden gems and sodas - it added a sense of authenticity to the well-branded ‘pura vida gringo beach vibe’ of the coast. Even our teenage daughter who was sceptical at first really loved it. Recommended! ❤️ -
• Artur (10/5): Exceptional - If you're looking for ideal hosts- Andrea and James - would fulfill your expectations. They are wonderful people with lots of good energy, which share among the others. If you're looking for a place in the jungle, away from people (also away from the sea - about 30 min. driving) oasis of peace, you have just found it. There you can feel totally free and discreet. I fully recommend this place!
• Regine (10/5): A wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the tropical jungle life. Andrea and James are great hosts. - The nicely built lodge with open kitchen, lounge area and hammocks. The great setting in the jungle and the feeling of being the only humans around. Plenty of things to do around, very close to Cahuita and Porto Viejo though.
• Karen (10/5): Peaceful , scenic and altogether gorgeous. - Gorgeous place to stay. Beautifully designed and very scenic and peaceful. We were made very welcome by helpful hosts. It's spotless. Lots of interesting toads on the path! I didn't knock off points as it's clearly stated that there's no hot water. However, we had bad weather when we were there, and the cold shower was exceedingly unpleasant when we were already feeling the chill. Would encourage the hosts to investigate options for softies.
• Sean (10/5): Incredible sights, sounds and amenities for being so remote. It was hard to compare any other stays to this. - Incredible place in the middle of the jungle and completely sustainable on their own. Andrea and James are amazing hosts and great people. We would love to come back some day!! Clean, with electricity, Wi-Fi, and water and ambiance of sounds and sights of jungle all around. N/a
