Guest Reviews
- Jill (4/5): Security issues - Clean and tidy The lack of Security.
The main door to the property was lockable, yet 24/7 unlocked.
Upon arrival my room was also unlocked. Ironic after initially being given the wrong gate code and couldn't access the property.
There is a note on the gate asking it to be shut - but for my 3 night stay, I found it open each night.
Disappointing to have such a lack of security in a nice property.

- Kekatos (10/5): - Very good location close to Redcliffe, very Very clean comfortable room.

- Kathie (10/5): We would recommend this accommodation to any couple of any age for both short and long stay. - It was everything we hoped for. Good size for a couple, well designed, great fitout, very clean and comfortable. 10/10
Well located for beach access and easy drive/walk to local restaurants.
Good value for what we paid. Nothing
- Catherine (7/5): - Location was great. The room was spacious, the bathroom was very nice and it was great that the bathroom was separate from the toilet. It wasn't in the listing that I could see that the balcony is communal. That was a disappointing and it also meant that we couldn't get airflow at night as there were no windows only sliding doors to communal areas. I do think it was good value but the communal aspect was unexpected.
- Marie (8/5): It was very quiet and relaxing. - Location was good. I didn’t like the chairs without backs and the parking.
- Elizabeth (8/5): 3 day stay. - The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Separate bathroom and toilet. Air-conditioning worked to treat. Water in the shower ran from luke warm to cold. Assistance was requested but problem was not resolved. Several uncomfortable showers were the result.
- Matt19721 (8/5): -
- Sharyn (9/5): Very good -
- Jonathan (7/5): Suited our needs very well - Great location Unfortunately the shower
The hot water didn’t stay hot very long
- DAVID (6/5): Okay - Outside lounge gave space. Couldn't unlock the sliding doors. Good location. Noise from upstairs of furniture movement and heavy walking around.
No sink to wash plates, had to use bathroom sink.
No comfortable chair in the room'.
- Yuley (5/5): Once the room was remade it was ok but don't expect spare or replacement towels. - The unit itself was roomy and modern. Obviously refurbished. The room had been made up with dirty or stained linen, there were no towels and an old rug (spoilt the newness of the place) the bathroom toothbrush holder was dirty. Sloppy housekeeping. That all could have been fixed much easier if the owner/manager had answered the phone number left onsite to contact if there were any problems (same as one given by Booking.com) I think I only had the room fixed because I went to Booking .com
We paid for 3 days and no reply so had to go out and get sheets and towels. When we came back that evening after dinner it had been made up and even a new mat (though not requested) so obviously they sw it was bad. Requested in book for us to clean our dishes but there wasn't anything to clean with. So no I didn't.
- Peter (8/5): Unit was very nice - loved the shower - What breakfast? Could not get Channel 10 on the Television so we missed our program twice.
- Paul (10/5): -
- Dirk (9/5): -
- Dean Seabrook (9/5): Profound Joy on a daily basis - A beautiful vibe in that room. Great location. And an annual destination getting out of cold Ballarat and into warm Redcliffe
- Robertson (8/5): -
- Jeanette (8/5): Very good -
- Harley (7/5): Good -
- Vicki (8/5): Cosy, stylish beachside getaway. - Clean, cosy, very comfortable bed, appreciated toiletries provided and essentials like kettle, toaster and microwave. Professional contact from property manager at all stages pre and post stay. Fridge noisy on and off during the night.
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graeme (8/5): Very good - Clean n tidy, Good location Black sheets
- Cate (8/5): Lovely unit in quiet & peaceful location close to the water. - Lovely room/unit in great location close to the water, shops & restaurants.. Access to communial areas such as outdoor entertainment, indoor lounge/library & well appointed laundry. Basic kitchenette facilities in room. Microwave was almost on the floor... was a bit difficult to get down there to use. Hard to open curtains.. woukd have liked to have been able to open these from time to time.. Separate toilet & bathroom. I enjoyed my stay.
- Rachelle (10/5): Exceptional - It had everything we needed.
- Bernard (6/5): I found another 1BR resort-style apartment a kilometre away, right on the beach, at a reduced price! - Location: It is only 5 to 10 minutes from the beach and a wide walking track.
Quiet: During the out-of-season, there are not many residents, and thus, the property is very quiet.
Private: Well-laid-out rooms/apartments on a small property to ensure each one provides good visual privacy.
Amenities: All amenities are provided for a short-term stay, although the microwave is at floor level, and no dryer is available on the premises.
Eating facilities: It's only a kilometer or two to walk, and there are several shops, cafes, and restaurants. Stairs—Arriving after dark can be unsafe if you are a long-term traveler with plenty of large luggage. You have not been informed of the location of the light switch for the tiny light on the walkway.
Rubbish—During the 10 nights I stayed there, the council had two bin collection days. On these two occasions, rubbish bins were not put out on the street. They overflow and are smelly, and residents start using recycle bins for rubbish.
Seating/Study desk: I did a lot of PC work and had to sit on a small stool.
Noise from upper-level—Thumping on the floor above, presumably from a happy toddler running on their floor.
Communication—I requested a quote to stay for another longer duration. A quote was not provided; it was just a necessary comment about two days of non-availability in the same room during the requested period.
- Samuel (9/5): Superb -
- Annemarie (8/5): Very good -
- Jenjen99 (8/5): Holiday in Scarborough - Very modern, beautiful bathroom, short walk to the beach. The kitchentte cabinet was very low, making it hard to use. There was no sliding flyscreen on the balcony door, so you couldn't leave the door open as it was a common balcony.
- Helen (5/5): Not. what I expected - Bed was comfortable, good shower, close to the water. I tried several times to contact to the wifi, unsuccessful,
No fly screen on doors to open for fresh air, not everyone wants to live in aircon all the time.
Parking in side street was a problem for me.
Only stayed one night but paid for two.
- Whitfield (8/5): Very good -
- O'brien (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Jess (8/5): Very good -
- Briffa (8/5): Great spot - Great spot and comfortable room. Nice and clean. Nothing major, you can't stream on the TV and there were no coffee pods, just 2 pods for the first morning would be a nice touch :)
- Ken (7/5): Good -
- Sutin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Noel (7/5): Good -
- Loretta (8/5): Great for a short stay with easy daytime walk to the main shops along the beach paths. - I liked how quiet it was in the area.
Unit had all the basics for a comfortable stay A bit far away from the shops and glad I had a car
- Bonnycat (5/5): Scarborough didn't disappoint but the accommodation did - Room size was good and the shower pressure was very good We were there for 8 nights and there were only 2 towels between the two of us.. The duvet was not large enough for the bed size, there was no tea towel provided. The lowboy holding the kettle and toaster was coffee table height and the microwave was at floor level...all very uncomfortable and hard on your back. The noise from the upstairs unit kept us awake with continual scraping of chairs on wooden floors , would suggest carpet up there might help.
- Cassandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (4/5): Disappointing - Nice separate toilet and shower rooms. Bed was comfortable. Some thoughtful inclusions. It wasn’t one bedroom as described in ‘Description’ it was one room, kitchenette was a joke - a low bench, no sink and garbage in the wardrobe. Had to wash dishes in toilet room basin. Foot and chair movement on verandah above very noisy. Tiny garden, impossible to use, and in much need of attention.
- Dean (10/5): A spiritual experience with overwhelming joy - There was an incredibly nice vibe about the place and so close to everything . I’ll definitely be coming back again real soon
- Geoffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lawrence (9/5): Overall enjoyed our stay, was here to visit a friend. - Enjoyed location being in a residential area. All was fine
- Brian (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ron (6/5): Dissapointing. - The bed was comfortable, the shower was very good. Maintenance was needed. Rules required dishes to be left clean but no detergent. No outside bin to leave rubbish. To far to food shops. Beach 5 minutes to walk to not 1 as advertised. You can hear the people above walking around i stayed in unit 2. Cockroach in toilet
- Michelle (9/5): Wish we could stay longer - Had everything we needed and a great spot! Bed was sooo comfy Hard to find - had a different name to the one we booked
- Kaia (8/5): Very good -
- Donna (8/5): Very good -
- Jeremy (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, short walk to Cafe, restaurants, pubs. Quiet area. Great walking/running tracks along the water. Would definitely stay here again.
- Allison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoemelissa (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denis (7/5): Very disappointed and for any future visits would look for alternative accommodation. - There was no offer of breakfast - we brought our own. When we booked we thought we were getting a "1 bedroom apartment with small kitchenette" - in fact turned out to be like a motel room with 2 stools around a small table, and only one "chair" (to share?) - no lounge or relaxing seating at all. Small kitchenette was just a very low cupboard with everything squeezed in - almost had to kneel to reach the microwave - very cramped for room with no sink (just the bathroom). Never laid eyes on any "hosts". Loved bathroom and shower and separate toilet.
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Tama (9/5): Superb - Cosy home feeling Noise from others, but nothing major
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness and location N/A
- Mitchell (8/5): Very friendly people and staff -
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional - Location was lovely and close to the beach for walks.
- Eileen (8/5): Sleeping on a Cloud so close to the beach ... heavenly 😇 - Spacious space close to beach catching lovely sea breezes. The bed was extremely comfortable. As an older person found the workbench and microwave too low and hard to bend down to safely remove heated items from microwave etc.
- Gordon (1/5): Bad - Not much Could not get the key because I was given the wrong compenation by booking. Com and found it very hard to contact anyone. It took 2 hours to get the key.NOT HAPPY
- Michelle (7/5): Good -
- Josephine (8/5): Very good - Location, presentation, comfort. So many stairs
- Hanna (10/5): Would 100% stay again and will recommend. - Loved the cleanliness and presentation. The property was well maintained and spacious N/A
- Dot (9/5): Overall clean, comfortable and suited to the purpose of our visit to the area. - size. bed comfort, lighting no coffee pods. no jug for cold water.NO on
site parking
- Timothy (8/5): Very good -
- Dianne (8/5): Very adequate for my short stay - Location good for my stay Perhaps security panels on front doors although apartments are under security anyway. This is so you could leave doors open when sleeping and not use airconditioning. Just a suggestion.
- Rebecca (7/5): Would not re-consider staying again due to neighbourhood noise which is a pity as it’s a lovely property. - Cleanest property I’ve ever stayed at. Comfy bed and good facilities in room. Light sleepers beware- the dog next door started barking/yapping/whining at 5:30am and continued until 8/9am each day. The balcony light stays on all night and the room lit up like daytime. Paper thin walls and ceiling/floor. Could hear everything that anyone else did in the property.
- Mandi (10/5): Loved it, happily stay there again. - Great location. Very clean and well fitted out. All the little touches like tea/coffee pods, plus beach bag, magazines/books etc. Super comfortable bed, hot (clean!) shower. Loved all of it and would happily stay again. Only issue we had was the verandah light at night time. Understand it needs to be on for safety when coming in at night, but maybe a sensor light would work better for everyone (including power usage)
- Fran (10/5): loved our three day stay. will recommend to friends. - I was cosy, very comfortable and very well appointed. just lovely. nothing
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - Location to water front I could not plug in the music box on top of the fridge to listen to my music
- Brian (2/5): Very poor - incorrect keypad number supplied. had to wait after driving some distance to get correct keypad number to enter the property
unable to have hot show for two days no hot water so informed the owner that i was leaving a day early and required a refund but did not get a final reply so decided to leave anyway found accommodation elsewhere.
- Anonymous (1/5): Could not access accommodation did not have code host would not answer phone bad communication, had to find alternative -
