Guest Reviews
- Benjamin (10/5): -
- MANUEL (10/5): -
- Martin (7/5): - Convenient location
- Vicki (7/5): Overall a great location but apartment needs some updates. - location was fantastic. The apartment was clean. The tap over the kitchen sink really needs replacing. The toilet roll holder needs replacing and the air conditioner does not work properly. It was very cold in the apartment. Also there is not enough comfortable seating in the lounge area for more than 3 adults.
- Greg (10/5): Great place , clean and tidy - Lock box worked on entry
Did not work on exit
We left keys in house & via email notified host email only.
No phone number available. Liz box on exit did not work
- Jacinta (9/5): Central Location with everything we needed -
- Cushla (10/5): A great stay, good communication with host and nothing to complain out. - Position was just the best, wonderful having a car park. Having a welcome bottle of beautiful local red wine was a treat along with a friendly note from Jodie.
Very clean and hospitable venue for our few days in Adelaide. Zero
- Hilary (7/5): A convenient apartment in a great location - A great convenient location. Perfectly clean. Nice to have tennis racquets. Good to be supplied with basics and milk and the wine was appreciated. Nice to have dressing gowns The electric blankets on my bed were flashing an error message on both sides and did not work. We would have appreciated a few more tea bags as there were only about 2 English breakfast.
- Bev (5/5): Passable - Close to everything Third bedroom very small. Bathroom not suitable for a person with a disability
- Carla (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was a home away from home.Nicely furnished and very clean.Very comfortable bed and added touches like a bathrobe, toiletries and wine on arrival. All areas of interest within walking distance to the apartment.
- Tannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - great location in a quiet spot of the CBD,
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Vicki (7/5): Handy place to stay for up to 4 adults - The apartment was nicely furnished and had good towels and linen. It's within the CBD so easy access to Festival activities. The apartment is on the ground floor and had secure parking under the building. The property manager was friendly and responsive when I reported that the oven was faulty and a globe in the dining room wasn't working. The two main bedrooms were fine but the third bedroom with a double and single bed above was quite small. A dishwasher would have been nice. Although there was theoretically bed space for 7 people, that would have been a squeeze if all were adults.
- Lacey (10/5): We loved the apartment. It was great! - Great spot, very tidy and a beautifully styled apartment that felt like home
- Jacqui (9/5): Amazing location and well presented - great location, very clean and comfortable. parking was great too. air conditioning was only in living room and it was very hot while we were there. main bedroom was very hot even with the fan.
- Victor (5/5): could be better with additional air con in all bedrooms or at least a fan in bedrooms would be nice - location and rooms were clean there was only ONE AIR CON in lounge room, ONE small fan in one bedroom. there was NO air con NOR any fans in other 2 bedrooms. it was hard to sleep at night as it was hot and humid. it was summer time and daytime temperature was 30
- Helena (6/5): Carrington House/ Apartment stay - Closeness to where we wanted to go. Advertised as a house not apartments, !!!
Only 1 key between 2 couples and myself? How is that supposed to work? Especially when you can't get back to your room without it??
Cleaner was very rude, not helpfull at all. Not a great job done either.
People parking in our spot. Not enough sitting for 5 people, example dinner table only seats 4, lounge only enough for 3? This is supposed t oo be for up to 7 people???
The whole experience had my anxiety on overboard, which made me not enjoy my stay as I should have, travelled a long way to enjoy the Adelaide 500 and then got these problems, also part payment was supposed to be taken out a few days earlier then rest when we got there. Which didn't happen , and this caused problems with my credit card all weekend!
Had problems getting through to people that who could actually help, not just be left with " I will ask my manager" then never get an answer...
To say I will NOT be staying here again, if we were told about the apartment the we would have known what to expect,
- Katie (5/5): Passable - Location was fantastic. Only on key provided. Which needed to be left in a lock box. Which would have been fine, except you needed it to scan into the building. So everytime someone came home we had to walk out and scan them in, because you could not return key to lock box and get back into building.
- Frank (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (10/5): excellent spot beautiful place - close to everything nothing
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Mahesh (9/5): Comfy stay. Great hosts taking care of minute details. Thank you for the wine!! - The property, location is excellent. Equipped with everything you might need. Kitchen equipped with essentials like oil spray, salt & pepper, etc. No dishwasher. And only 1 bathroom/toilet.
With 3 bedroom apartment, that was the only disappointment.
- Simone (10/5): can’t wait to return! :) - The property was clean, comfortable and central to everything Adelaide has to offer. N/A
- Nicola (6/5): Was very nice and enjoyed it - Was clean and in good location. Owner seemed to have thought of everything too. Extra batteries for the remote for air con/tv. A diffuser. Shampoo etc in bathroom. Milk in fridge. Two towels in each bedroom. Even a welcome you note and bottle of wine - lovely touch. The only thing we didn't like was the smell. As soon as you got to the front door there was a really foul smell - like mould and decay or something. The front bedroom smelt of it really bad - the rest of the house not as much. There was a diffuser in the house with oils which we used every time we were in the house plus we brought some Glen20.
The front bedroom also the light didn't work and there was no lamp.
Apart from the main bedroom - the other two were too small and only a bed in them - no where to hang clothes when you staying for more than a few days living out of a suitcase on the floor isn't ideal.
- Alana (8/5): fabulous stay :) - very comfortable and clean.
- Bruce (10/5): Exceptional -
- Saw (10/5): key contact person is ver understanding and knowledgeable. - nice and clean nothing
- Darlene (8/5): Very good - Bigger towels would be nice.
- Claire (8/5): Lovely inner city stay - The location was excellent and is a great size for couples/family. Toilet separate from bathroom is a plus when there's one bathroom between many. Cosy lounge with nice TV and kitchen. Accommodating hosts and parking included. Two of the three rooms are cosy in size but not an issue when you're visiting Adelaide and not planning to stay in your room all day anyway.
