• Edwina (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE filthy with bed bugs - Good location The place was not as pictured, very small, a converted garage! The place was filthy. Walls and floors covered in marks & dirt, some appeared to be dried blood. This would probably be due to the bed bugs that feasted on me!!! Unfortunately the recent reviews were not up when I booked this non refundable place. Lots of noise from upstairs. The place stunk like there had been a chain smoker living there. Unable to open any windows as all locked. I messaged the agent and was told keys would be dropped off, that never happened. The only seating was a dirty and uncomfortable lounge that was really no better than sitting on the floor. The bathroom was tiny, the shower was very small & difficult to get in & out of, the shower head sprayed water everywhere. No access to the overgrown yard. No tea towel, little cutlery. I have tried to contact the agent re my concerns and wanting a refund due to the fact that I had to move out and find alternative accommodation at a cost, I have not had any reply. I will take the matter further. DO NOT BOOK THIS FLAT OR ANY ACCOMMODATION MANAGED BY JULIAN VALÈNCIA AT STAYLDN!
• Michael (1/5): - Location is great. A previous review stated an issue with bed bugs .The owner said the issue had been resolved. This is NOT the case. We inspected on arrival it looked fine although the mattress did not fit the bed, it was far too wide for the bed frame and the flat was generally very scruffy , dirty walls and doors, windows locked with no key available for ventilation. TV aerial broken, bedroom wall heater not securely fixed. We awoke the next morning to find blood on the sheets. We were bitten during the night with bugs visible in the bed and on walls in the bedroom and on the floor in the living area. We called the owner straight away and got no reply. We immediately vacated the apartment, bagging all our possessions. Again, called, voice mailed, and e mailed the owner, but still no reply. We had to book elsewhere for the second night of our stay and are still awaiting a response and remuneration from the owners for what turned out to be a disasterous visit.
• neil (5/5): A good little flat spoilt by bad maintenance. - I liked the location, near the canal and park, and size. Just right. I liked that I could have parked there. A lovely area. Not well enough equipped or maintained. No table of any sort, only one fork for eating ( I bought my own cutlery and left them). The bed linen was not changed once during my month there; I washed it myself. The sink had no plug or washing up bowl. Not one window would open, all were locked. Shower was too small and was repaired with gaffer tape. A good little flat spoilt by bad maintenance.
• Andy (2/5): falls short of the promised comfort levels but location is good. - Location is excellent, right bu Victoria park and the canals. Really good location for a beak in the east end. the photos were much better than the reality! The sitting area was very bland and empty, the bedroom is too small, it was almost impossible to get around the bed but the worst was the bathroom. It looks great in the photos because there is no scale. The shower is miniature, the door opening is too narrow to get through and when in you can't raise your arms! The small partition wall between the bedroom and next doors sitting room (originally part of the same property) is so thin that it feels like they are sitting at the end of the bed talking. There were no keys left for the windows and they were all locked shut, not pleasant over a hot weekend.

• Owen (10/5): A wonderful stay in a beautiful place - Brilliantly located in wonderful Hackney. A lovely little apartment with absolutely everything you could need. Was over the moon to have a car parking space right outside the front door. Amazing stay.

Cleanliness (marks on all the walls) needs redecorating No tea towel , no dish cloth , no oven trays Dirty settee cover Shower very small, abit dangerous getting out of No black out blinds
