- Dimitrios (7/5): The "hotel" is located on the first floor of an old residential building. It is difficult to find and difficul - The hotel is in a very good location and next to a public transport stop, 3 minutes walk. Increased price for accommodation
- Monika (7/5): Good - Wi-Fi not work!
- Julie (7/5): Good - The location and space of the rooms are great. Friendly staff. The reception is sometimes empty but you can call them on the phone number they have at the reception.
- Jennifer (1/5): Awful - left and found another place - Location wasn't bad Don't even bother - my husband and I turned up to find the room looked worse than in the photos. Firstly, it was unclear how to get into the hotel and the man on the phone was unhelpful, not understanding the same questions we kept clearly asking (i.e. how to enter!) When we finally did, I was shocked to find the room very bare apart from the bed, looking like a half finished DIY job. There was general wear and tear, dirty corners, and a strong paint smell. The bathroom tiles were badly cracked, it was dirty and a sewage smell was coming from the toilet. We actually booked another hotel at our expense because this one was so bad. I don't normally react so strongly to a hotel room, but this one was too awful to stay in for four nights.
- Jason (9/5): Comfortable room in good location - Comfortable and spacious room The shower was small
- David (7/5): Great location for a short visit in cooler weather. - The location was great for the activities that we had planned for our time in the city. The restaurant selection around this room was great! The air conditioner was turned off for the season even thought it was in the upper 70's. The shower was very small. Internet was rough at best.
- Maricruz (8/5): Very good -
- Marilene (7/5): Good -
- Traveler (7/5): Good -
- Gabriella (5/5): It's ok for one night. - The room is big. I don't think the room is insulated since there was a draft. I had to create a scarf with my clothes and triple layer in order to prevent myself from getting sick.
The shower door is broken. The shower drain didn't work, so the shower would fill up and then leak.
They don't allow you to leave your dog in the room by itself for the day. This should be stated in their policy and not mentioned after-the-fact.
- Stuart (4/5): Very ordinary and never again! - Nothing, no reception and no people to help you The site says 24 hour reception, no one is there and you have to ring a number to speak to someone. The only reason we got inside the building was because someone else was coming out, otherwise we couldn’t get inside? Beds were pathetic.
- Thomas (5/5): Passable - The size of the room was nice compared to others I've stayed in for the price.
Location was on the north end but there were restaurants and a local Carefour market just outside the building. The elevator to the hotel would only carry 1 person with luggage or two people at a time.
The staff never informed us of the Continental breakfast at the end of the hallway so we spent 4 days there not knowing we had the ability to have pastries and coffee in the morning.
- Ilona (9/5): Superb - Really nice hotel with nice and clean rooms & good service!
- Ahmed (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (8/5): Not far from centre or train and quiet - Airy spacious room with very comfy bed. No clue how the Aircon system worked...
- Thomas (4/5): Some pluses, but I wouldn't stay here again. - Right across the street out the front door was a great (and inexpensive) coffee and pastry shop (Crociani Pasticceria). Go there for breakfast. Also, Porta Al Prato - Leopolda (the bus and tram location) is less than 2 blocks away. Florence has great public transportation and you can use your credit card on board. I would never stay here again. The street noise at night (like 3 am) from pedestrians walking by singing and talking loudly, woke me up every night. The pictures of the room were misleading. It's not as nice as it looks.
- Paul (9/5): Clean Tidy & Comfortable - I chose the hotel for its proximity to where I was working and was still close enough to the centre for the evenings. The communication from the hotel was great with clear instructions for entry as it’s located within a multi tenant building. The I was in was directly by reception so quite noisy and probably not the best on offer. The room itself was functional but would benefit from some drinks making facility within and possibly a small mini fridge. The shower enclosure was on the small side which was ok for me as I’m quite short but the water pressure wasn’t great.
- Diana (8/5): Very good -
- Julia (9/5): Superb -
- Barbara (8/5): Very good -
- Spiros (10/5): Exceptional - Close to train station
Clean
Quiet
- Daisy (8/5): Very good -
- Robyn (9/5): Spacious room, great location, in the centre, without being noisy and crowded. Unique old building with quirky spacious - Great position, spacious rooms, clean, value for money. Little fridge in the alcove a bonus. Nothing
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Omardag (10/5): Exceptional - Place. Workers. Location.
- Toe (5/5): Passable -
- Grace (8/5): We had a great time in our vacation…Everything is fine, clean and the information is very friendly and nice -
- Pasha (8/5): Very good -
- Ayelen (6/5): Pleasant - Location was close to main attractions and have few shops and restaurants around. People at reception was hard to find most of the time. The room and toilet weren't very clean, and also the room was quite small.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (7/5): It was nice , the hotel is 2 min far from the Tram and 14 min walk from train station -
- Catherine (7/5): Good for short stay - Clean and good for one night. Walkable to main attractions in Florence. Hard to find, the staff decided to go home without informing us and we had issues checking in. If it wasn’t for the gracious neighbors who called the place for us, who knows how many hours we could’ve been waiting?!
- Ira (8/5): Very good -
- Margarita (6/5): Pleasant - Nice location and friendly staff. Bathroom wasn’t really comfortable, slightly dirty.
- Haljothi (7/5): Good -
- Mark (9/5): Close enough to all of the attractions of Florence, without being too crowded - Loved the room and the location.
Excellent bathroom and lovely meals area and a beautiful little courtyard to sit in and drink your coffee.
A really fabulous restaurant just across the road has wonderful food. Our room looked over the street, so it was a little bit noisy at night time, but that didn’t really matter.
- Sharon (8/5): Very good - Good location, clean Wasn't easily identified. Needs a bit of TLC
- Bonita (4/5): Disappointing -
- Nathalie (8/5): Good value, great location! - Breakfast was good, location was excellent, especially for a backpacker ( close to the station and walking distance to the sites!
The staff were very friendly and responsive. Everything was very clean. Nice little rooftop patio ( mostly for smokers but I don’t smoke a d I enjoyed it). They let me store my bags for hours after check out as an added bonus! Older plumbing (a bit finicky) and very little soundproofing, but it didn’t bother me too much.
- Rebekah (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (5/5): Passable - Reasonable breakfast. Reception unattended at 7pm, needed to call to check in - no instructions via booking.com. Bathmat was already wet, shower very small and bidet leaking. The bed was uncomfortable. This was passable but I wouldn't stay again
- Bugio91 (8/5): Super staff, great location - Super staff, great location. Nothing to report.
- Jess (7/5): Good -
- Maria (7/5): it’s ok for 1 or 2 days stay - It’s near the central station. I cold because the room heater does not turn on and our blanket is not that Rick
- Lucian (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (1/5): Bad - There was nobody at the reception when we arrived, even though it was 10 pm, and the check-in was supposedly until 11 pm. No instructions were sent on how to open the doors of the building or of the hotel. We had to call to get in. It happened to everybody we saw arriving then. The flush of our toilet was broken too.
Nobody for the check-out either.
- Kang (4/5): Disappointing - Staft friendly. Room too obsolote, Facility inside the room poor quality. And breakfsst not nice, too simple, nothing to eat.
- Xhensila (9/5): Superb -
- Donata (4/5): Disappointing -
- Raúl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alken (6/5): Pleasant -
- Brendan (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): price wise you can’t go wrong, not in exact city center but a short walk away, - continental breakfast every morning
terrace
secure building
friendly staff
excellent value showers are very small (I hear this is normal tho)
- Isabel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anna (9/5): Good value for clean and charming stay. - Very high ceilings, the area for breakfast is adorable and had a very charming balcony area. I loved the view from my room, and the location was perfect. I used the train to get into town and it wasn’t too far of a walk. The shower was fine, but did the job. It was clean though!
- Grzegorz (7/5): Good -
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Wladimir (5/5): Passable -
- Sorinela (8/5): Very good - The B&B is close to the train station, has a supermarket downstairs where you can get water or anything you need. You have to walk 20 minutes to city center. The room was big and clean. It looks old. But it was ok for 2 nights.
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hakan (9/5): Superb -
- Hadeel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gabriel (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (7/5): short stay in Florence near the train station - it’s located close to the train station the breakfast was not acceptable, nothing for me to eat so had to go and have breakfast at the bakery across the street
- Eleonora (8/5): Very good -
- Hubert (10/5): Simply excellent! - We got late at night because of the ferry delay. Despite the late night hours, the hotel service waited for us for a couple of hours. Excellent service!
- Rowena (9/5): Great location - Room was quiet. Bathroom is spacious. Close to train station. Breakfast was tasty, but there weren't a lot of options.
- Tinchov80 (1/5): Awful and dissapointing my stay in this place. - It's a bed and breakfast. Didn't make use of breakfast but the dining room seemed big with a small terrace. All rooms are in the same floor. The rooms are big. The shower for a big guy like me, not so much. I can certify that the walls/doors are not soundproof, you can hear everything since VERY early in the morning. The location is awful. I asked where I could park my car and the owner told me on the street. Surprisingly the day after my car window was broken and some personal items were robbed. The location of this hotel is in a shady street in Florence, not so illuminated, be careful.
- Anonymous (9/5): Good place to stay to visit Florence. - The twin room outside the outdoor patio was very spacious. We had enough room to spread out. Good breakfast for the price. This large room only has AC inside the bedroom. There is no AC in the bathroom and in the two adjoining spaces.
- Tim (2/5): woke up way to early - easy check in and location Unfortunatly very poor isolated for noise, awake from 6.30 AM when people are awakening and breakfast gets served in the breakfast room. You hear everything. Shower curtain not practical and had fungus, dead muskitos on the walls. Even for this cheaper price in Florence, not price/quality okay.
- Beatriz (9/5): Superb -
