Guest Reviews
- Linda (9/5): Would return if I had to go back to Melbourne - The family was wonderful and cooked me a great meal. 3 min walk to train station, plenty of cafes were open at 9pm. Bed was comfortable and room big enough. Nice roses out the back and a small area to sit outside. Nothing.

- Gardiner (9/5): - Very clean and neat little place. Nice and close to the train station, about a 5 minute walk, which was perfect for the 3 days we wanted to explore Melbourne towns and the CBD. The bed was extremely comfortable and I was very happy with everything provided. The heated blanket was a lovely touch! It is a shared accommodation, which means the bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared, but everyone stayed out of each other's way and were very considerate of each other. I hardly encountered any of the other guests or residents. The cat, Coco, is honestly so sweet, and she totally made the stay more enjoyable!

- Rob (7/5): - The host and his family are absolutely lovely. Having the TV in the lounge would have been more comfortable than in the dining room, which isn't a disaster, just an observation.

Good location to airport and train to the city center
- Beverley (10/5): You get what you pay for. - The location was fine. There was no breakfast. The bed was too small and was pushed up against the wall. When we arrived home the door was locked from the inside.
- James (10/5): A nice, clean housestay, near cafes, supermarkets and a train station. - I arrived late after an event, and was welcomed, and shown the facilities, and offered coffee for the morning. The house was very nice, and the host was very friendly. I got a great night's sleep and got to say hi to the cat in the morning!
- Anya (9/5): Lovely homestay - We loved Doanh, the Vietnamese guy we stayed with, he was such a sweetheart, and his daughter, Ann was nice, too, when she visited. Doanh doesn’t speak much English but I got him to show me around his garden and he even made us some Vietnamese vegetable soup from his garden! The property also has a cat, Coco, who is a sweet little cat 😻
The bathroom, kitchen and bedroom were all clean and comfortable, and the view of the garden from the room was lovely ☺️ I loved the shutters on the windows that could completely black out the room if you wanted a lay in. There was another housemate there who was not very friendly or social, but he stayed in his room 99.9% of the time, anyway.
