- James (5/5): Good location - but wouldn’t stay again. - The property at Middleton is a fantastic location. Very short walk to beach and beautiful views. The house is a great space for families and is set up well - despite being quite basic. Unfortunately the place was not clean when we arrived. Despite calling Harris and speaking with Henry, who asked me “what I’d like to be done with the cleaning problem” seeing as cleaners had apparently cleaned on Tuesday for our arrival, there was nothing done to fix this during our stay. As you’ll be able to see from the photos the house wasn’t clean. There were bugs throughout including in the bath, toilet brush was dirty and it windows clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The outdoor furniture we had to clean to sit on. There was a rotten lemon outside on the deck. Disappointing state for a house at this price point. We were already surprised the linen was not included (without additional fee) but still booked, but then to also have very limited amenities, I think it’s important for future bookers to be aware you’re getting the shell of a beach house. No wifi, no oil, no basics.
