• Leatham (9/5): - The accommodation is private from the main house. Access is from outside stairs which are not visible from the street. The suite is very comfortable, clean and tidy. The bathroom is an ensuite from the main bedroom so guests in the second bedroom use the same bathroom.
• Carol Anne (9/5): Overall excellent value for price paid for one night. Steps up to accommodation were not an issue. - Location was excellent. It was only 4-6mins driving time to Cropley House where we attended a wedding. Both pillows were very hard. We like a softer pillow. A choice of a softer and a hard pillow would have been great, otherwise all good.

It should clearly tell you that one of the bedrooms had to walk through the other bedroom to the bathroom. Pillows very hard. A few odd bits thrown in the cupboards. Odd place really.

The place had a bathroom accessible only to the occupants of the master bedroom, leaving the rest of the guests without access. The place is advertised for a capacity of 5 people, but there are only two beds, even though we specified that there were 5 adults. There was no timely response to resolve the issues. • cheryl (9/5): Quiet, relaxing, excellent hosts, birds visit garden, close to public transport. Top quality. - Private spacious air conditioned two bedroom apartment above a family home. Has kitchen/dining/lounge area, separate bathroom. Back veranda overlooks trees and the garden, visited by cockatoos, kookaburras and other Australian birds. Breakfast cereals and milk, cold water in the fridge/cupboard for the first morning, tea and coffee provided. External stairs are well lit and very safe. easy to navigate carefully with both a new baby and older couple. Excellent hosts, very lovely sound of children playing happily in the garden. Nothing to fault, excellent :0

• Robert (8/5): We had a comfortable stay and the property owners were friendly and very helpful and welcoming. - The location and the fact that the apartment was comfortable with all necessary items provided to make it comfortable Whilst it was recorded that the apartment was upstairs it was not envisaged that there would be around 22 steps on outside of home to climb to get to the apartment front door. This may not be a problem for normal able bodied individuals but as my wife has mobility issues the number of steps and steepness was a challenge. Maybe some consideration could be given to taking away the built up dust on the ceiling light in bathroom
• Kenneth (10/5): All-in-all well worth what it cost us to stay there. A place to sleep and all facilities were there - Location was handy. Very good communications from host. Total privacy - didn't even get tomeet the host. Value for money was best around, Easy to find. Beds were a little hard for our liking, but not everybody likes soft beds. Stairs to room were a little bit steep for older guests.

• cheryl (9/5): Lovely stay in a private self contained unit above a family home, very close to public transport. - Self contained unit above a family home. Very close to public transport and shops. Surrounded by trees and the sounds of Australian birds in the morning. Lovely family. Items for a first 'Breakfast' were in the cupboard.
• Stewart (8/5): Value for money! - Very happy with the accommodation, nice and clean with all amenities and more spacious than anticipated. Perfect for a family of four looking for budget accommodation for the night. Clearly the hosts had put a lot of thought and care into the property and the guest information book with local restaurant recs was excellent. Air conditioned and fly screens on all the windows so easy to adjust temperature to your needs! Was perfectly suitable for us, not somewhere you would stay if you were looking for a longer getaway or luxury stay, but excellent value for money. The guest suite is upstairs so would not suit someone with mobility challenges.
• Frances (5/5): OK, have paid less for better accommodation. Complete overcharge. - The location was good for us to visit with family. We lived in Bella Vista 10 years ago. The garden was run down and messy, grass needed mowing, weeds a metre high, leaves all over the paths (a real mess) no way a tropical paradise. The inside needed a good clean, dust on skirting boards, shower needs a better clean as tile grout was black. Light bulbs in every room need replacing. No tv remote for 2nd tv. No mention about having to climb 20 plus stairs to access the accommodation. Overall not a good experience. If I had known about the stairs I would not have booked.

• Eleanor (10/5): Perfect apartment to rent in Baulkham Hills - Really nice clean apartment, with 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, bathroom with shower, large living/dining room, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The Property has a private entrance around the back. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and changed the bedding and towels halfway through our 2 week visit. The city center is a little less than an hour away with public transport and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby.
