• claire (7/5): Nice clean apartment in a good location but lack of communication from the owners/managers lets it down. - Near to the river for lovely walks. A shopping area with a Coles a few minutes walk away. Trams into the city 5 minutes away. Collection of the keys from a different location is a pain, especially when you’ve been travelling 24hours. Re paying a bond - I’ve never had to do this before, although was returned promptly. The TV wouldn’t always work due to a faulty cable. This was reported on the day we arrived and during our stay but no communication back until we left a week later. We also reported a faulty door handle which was not acknowledged. There was no BBQ on the patio as advertised. Again reported but no communication back.

I travel a lot for business, this is the worst plac - To collect the keys I had to walk 20 minutes and go to an igas ... not nice after a long trip. • Hannah (4/5): Disappointing, really bad communication. - The apartment itself is lovely - that’s all I can really say Unfortunately we wouldn’t recommend due to the hosts lack of communication. We were stuck at Melbourne Airport at 10pm for over an hour after paying the security deposit 5 hours before without any communication. We called up to 10 times asking for the location as “last minute” the hose decided to change the location of the lockbox to nowhere near the property, yet hadn’t confirmed this or the lockbox code. Once finally receiving a reply after we got in contact with booking.com customer service, they said their phone was off - such an awful start. Once entering the property we found that it wasn’t cleaned by the cleaner, the sheets were just changed and bins emptied (done by previous tenants). The flat had broken door handles, broken bin, toilet brush, lightbulbs etc. Such cheap and small things that could’ve made our stay so much better if sorted. We did let them know and they offered to “fix” these issues but by that time we were ready to leave. General upkeep, good cleaners and better communication would’ve made our stay great but unfortunately, even for the price we paid, this listing lacked basic standards. They don’t provide anything other than shampoo and conditioner (not even salt/pepper or tea/coffee). Overall a disappointing stay for the price paid.

• Michael (5/5): Nice place, poor service. - Great Location, modern apartment We found out immediately after making our non-refundable booking that we had to pay an additional $500 bond and that once refunded it could take up to 10 days to appear back in our account. It would have been nice to know this BEFORE booking. They sent us a huge list of rules with prices on various items if we scratched a saucepan or stained a towel for example, and even mentioned a penalty fee of $50 if we moved any furniture. I had to sign multiple agreements, as if we were signing up to a 12 month lease or something! The admin involved was over the top and took a lot of time. While staying there we discovered the shower drain was blocked with thick black hair and soap scum, we couldn't run the shower without it flooding the bathroom floor. I Messaged them to let them know and they did not respond so I ended up having to unblock the gross drain myself. There is no dryer or heated towel rail to dry your towels and they only provided 1 towel per person for a 4 day stay. The key was chained to a fence of a construction site down the road, I felt really awkward climbing in the garden to get the key in front of the construction workers who were clearly wondering why I was rummaging around in their garden.
• Judy (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent for me & the reason I booked this apartment. So close to shops, transport & family. Quiet & nicely furnished. Key collection was difficult for me as I had recently had hip surgery & the location of the key lock had access challenges, thank goodness it wasn't raining, is all I can say ! Also a bedside lamp would've been nice to have.

• Caleb-jade (7/5): Great - Great location and such a cute apartment! It was clean and it was nice and spacious. We were here during a heatwave so the aircon was lovely and cold and we loved being so close to the shopping mall. There was no extra bedding left out for the pull out bed and the key box was in the WORST spot ever, kinda gross actually as there was a load of rubbish near it in the bush

• Zsuzsa (7/5): Great location suited to a couple and maybe 1 child. Great location. Does not have a BBQ. - Location It did not sleep 4 adults comfortably. Not appropriate to advertise that it sleeps 4 adults. 2 of our adults experienced very uncomfortable sleeps. The couch was not suitable for 2 adults at all. Extremely uncomfortable.

Lovely outdoor area for fresh air and lovely sun in the mornings. Close to Victoria Gardens shopping centre for everything you'll need for your stay. Quick walk to trams. Some local noise in the night. Couldn't stop the water leaking from the shower.

• Elke (9/5): The owners were very accommodating for my needs. Their communication was very good and quick responses. Would definitely - Great accommodation and great location. Close to shopping centre as well. The futon bed isn’t the most comfortable, but would be fine for kids to sleep on.

• Nathan (10/5): Exceeded expectations! Value for money. - Unbeatable value for such a clean, modern and comfortable apartment. Have booked many apartments in Melbourne while there for work and this is the only place that made me feel like I was home. Strong WiFi, convenient location next to shopping centre, plenty of rubbish bags and toilet paper! It's the little things that matter, well done. Complimentary tea or coffee would have given them 11/10, but no one is perfect.

Hard to check in, you need to get the keys from other place which is not suitable for elderlies checking in. No reception at place. You have to pay a large cost of bond of 500 before you can check in which is not in the advertisement.

• Anonymous (7/5): Key to far away from unit - appartement was clean and beautiful had to walk 800 meters away from the property to collect the key and then walked back (with luggage, luckily it did not rain). No clear directions and no warning in advance (could have asked my taxi driver to drop me off at the location of the key instead of the property) Never had this before.
• Shiladitya (8/5): good safe comfortable place for a couple just needing some loose ends sorting out - very clean and modern, safe & quiet, comfortable with safe parking, good location & great price, easy to contact property manager great place for a couple and would happily use again can feel a bit sterile, lacking in warmth, real plants instead of plastic ones would break the spotless whiteness of the place. leaky shower cubicle had difficulties getting the keys which rather strangely are in a key safe several minutes drive away (was empty but keys arrived soon after informing manager through the app) car parking is at the lowest basement level - bizarrely the slots are randomly numbered but once found is great

Collecting keys .from different location was stressful . No parking there. Tò many emails confused me i was.going round in circles trying to find links to instructions and pins etc When told to leave keys in apt then getting car out was a problem .We had to ask tenants to open doors that let us out.. it was very stressful.
• Chris (9/5): Everything other than the key pick up was fabulous and good value for money in that location. - Picking up the keys off site in a neighboring suburb was an inconvenience as I had caught a taxi to the accommodation.
