• Kurtis (5/5): Good location and does the job if you just need somewhere to rest your head. - Great location, was pretty spacious, and comfortable was reasonably clean, did the job. It’s very basic, in need of renovating, lacks any sort of homeliness or character.

• Brian (7/5): Nice place overall for people who do not have high expectations - Great location (neighborhood). The air conditioner works really well. The floor of the kitchen should be replaced because it is broken, but it was fine for us because we were most of time outside. There is a balcony with a great view, but we did not have access to.

• Sharne (8/5): Great location, good basic facilities. Cheap and comfortable. - Great location. Very close to the stations and Tōkyō nightlife. There was some damage to the floor in the middle of the walkway which made me nervous to walk over.
• Amanda (5/5): Passable - It’s convenient and easy to access to train station and subway. The apartment is not clean and well maintained. Should repair the flooring.

• Peta (1/5): Very disappointed and frustrated after long haul travel first night in Japan. - We never got to stay in the room. There was someone else in our room who had booked via another booking app! We were stranded late at night after 14hrs of travel from Australia. Very disappointed. Firstly.. address very difficult to find on the street. Not where booking.com had pinned on the map. When we got there we were met by a very unhelpful security guard. The lock box DID NOT WORK after hours of attempts and inlisting help from the locals who used the locks daily. Went upstairs to see if that would help...there was a family in our room booked for the same period plus a few more days! Tried to contact the two numbers given to us and there was no answer. Got a message many hours later asking if we had checked in?? We had no other option but to stay somewhere else. Advised the owner what had happened and their response was a few days later staying that check out time was 11am. I have escalated this to booking.com as a complaint. Do not book here you will be very disappointed.

• Mayday (10/5): good value for money - its close to everything like train stations specially shinjuku and metro lines. theres a grocery nearby where you can buy a lot of food stuff.
• Chatri (4/5): ok for last minute rental - close to train station did not look like pictures. was much darker and older than seemed in pictures.
• Melody (6/5): Pleasant - Location was great, close to Shinjuku Golden Gai. So many subways to choose from. AC worked well in August heat. Bedding and bed were comfortable and clean. No laundry, but a 24 hours self laundry place was a very close by. Price can't be beat The pictures are filtered. It is not at all airy, bright, fresh looking. Cheap floors, cheap appliances and fixtures, cheap bathrooms, toilet seat broken, kitchen sink had a sulfur smell. However for less than half the price I paid to stay there Friday night and Saturday, it was worth it. I wished they showed pictures of the building. Since there is no reception or signage outside, I went into the wrong building at first.
