Guest Reviews

- kerry (1/5): PLEASE read the reviews , I wish I had, this place is dirty. - There is very little cutlery and the cupboards are dirty. The bed sheet is straight on to the mattress, There is a broken window latch meaning the window is not secure.
Wish I had read reviews, common theme throughout.
The communal entrance to the building is filthy and you have to wade through a pile of unclaimed mail. The flat is filthy. the fridge had an opened bottle of wine, egg shells in a box, dirty dishes, sink plug remnants of food, Obviously left over from a previous user. There was no toilet paper, no tea towels, filthy scrubber, The towels were dirty but I was told by the host that the cleaner had sent a video showing clean linen, No apology. I can tell you I was there and the towels were NOT clean. Nothing more done.
I then found on day 2 that rodents had been eating the bread. I again contacted host, initially asked by host to send photos, I have sent lots of photos and have not had a response. I am seeking a refund, the cleanliness is appalling , it is a shame because it has the potential to be lovely.

- emma (10/5): Lovely apartment close to loads of transport links. - Location for Whirled cinema is excellent and has everything you need for a great stay. Nothing- everything was perfect
- Emily (8/5): Good stay. Bring earplugs to sleep. Clean appartment - Clean, good location, fine space for 4 people. On a junction, loud noises.

- Maria (5/5): Reasonable for the price, with good location. - Good location in Brixton, close to nice restaurants, bus and 15 minute walk from Brixton road and subway. We had a couple of issues with the apartment logistics (fixing windows during our stay and other things).
Bed mattress could be replaced (you can feel the bumps on the mattress) and the entrance could use some good cleaning.
Don't recommend if you're not used to noisy streets, the apartment is right above a street junction and there is noise all night long, with a train passing really close by. Windows are classic London windows, so you can hear everything and everyone the street.
- Claire (7/5): Wrong location for us, felt unsafe in the front room with no opening windows which is a safety issue if you couldn’t get - Same has the photos Windows didn’t open in the kitchen/front-room making that room unbearable with no air circulating the room , there was fans but fresh air would’ve been better , I felt unsafe in the front room with no windows that would open I felt it was a safety issue If we needed to get out fast and couldn’t get out the front door , window handle not attached to the window frame in the front room , missing window handle in one of the bedrooms meaning the window didn’t stay shut , the stairs to the apartment needed a good clean , who ever stayed in the apartment 2 kept leaving the main door Unlocked when there is a notice saying for safety reasons kept the door locked at all times.
- Mary (7/5): Family weekend - Close to station making it good for getting into London. Within walking distance of Brixton. Room enough for 4 adults. Kitchen well equipped with electrical appliances. The property was not well maintained. On entering the stairs had loose carpet on one of the back of a step which made it a safety issue. In the larger bedroom the handle of the window was broken coming off when trying to use it. In bathroom screws in towel rail and toilet roll holder loose or missing. Extractor in bathroom didn't seem to work. Couple of chipped mugs and only 1 wine glass.
- Nathaniel (8/5): Very good -
- Keast (10/5): Apartment in Brixton. - Lovely little apartment, really clean, comfy bed and really close to the station.
- Tomasz (9/5): All OK - Location great,everywhere close,train station,grocery stores ( Tesco),pubs even a pharmacy .We are very satisfied,with the host great communication.I personally recommend .

- Joanne (1/5): Bad - We left our booking part way through and preferred to lose the money rather than remain. Location is not convenient and did not feel safe for women or families. Hard to get around , noisy, lots of fighting and arguing nearby with paper thin walls. Extreme use of air scents is unpleasant and a healthy hazard and made us question what they were masking. Facilities are exaggerated eg No coffee with machine, open packets of sugar etc in cupboard, no boardgames. One thin quilt per bed but no spare bedding. Dirty towels. Needs to be more accurate. Do not recommend
- Aniket (8/5): High Price if we consider size of apartment... - Nice Individual apartment, but bit small in size if we consider in terms of money they charged... less utensils
- Emma (10/5): Lovely flat in a great location with a loads of amenities. - Excellent location for the film festival I was at. Very clean and bright. Everything I needed at the location for the weekend. Nothing - all was perfect.
- Marcelo (10/5): Sure to repeat - Very close to train station. Every appliance working fine. Prompt hot water. Cooking and dining utensils were enough for our party.
- Dawn (7/5): Clean, comfy, but could use extras - Clean, close to train station/restaurants/grocery, plenty of room for 3 people, all necessary kitchenware. Floor of shower was VERY slippery, absolutely no storage (hooks, shelves, drawers, etc) in bedrooms and bathroom; we had only 1 bath towel each for a week's stay; directions for microwave would've been helpful; no communication from owner once there - we didn't know check out process, so just tidied up and left keys in lock box; outside door could be VERY difficult to lock/unlock at times - didn't always feel safe standing there fighting with it to open; windows didn't work properly, and 1 didn't close at all. Fyi- apartment is hard to find. Uber kept wanting to drop us further up the street.
- Timothy (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (7/5): Overall, a good stay for the location, price, and amenities that were offered with the flat. - The location was convenient to the local stores, markets, and underground station which made travel rather easy. The flat also had WiFi which was a nice touch. The kitchen was equipped and ready for use for home cooked meals. The beds were not comfortable, one of which was missing a board and created a "hole" to sleep in. We were able to fix this with pillows but not ideal. The amount of noise which we knew going into it was more than expected but after a while it became background noise.
- Kristina (8/5): OK value for money - The apartment is clean and exactly like on the photos. The location is very noisy. More towels would have been appreciated.
- Smoke26 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (9/5): A Great Place To Stay In Brixton - The apartment was very comfortable, clean, had plenty of facilities to use and was only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Brixton. The colour scheme was also very pleasing and if messaged the property they were quick to respond. The price was also very good for what it was! We were only provided with two towels, which does seem enough for only two people but back up towels would have been welcome, as would a mat to step out of the shower on to. This is a very minor quibble, though.
- Tnj (9/5): Great stay - We had a lovely stay at the apartment. Everything was ok and the apartment was very well equipped. Noise from the street can be a bit disturbing.
- Cindroi (9/5): Superb -
- Dalloneau (8/5): Very good - Pleasant apartment, well equipped and clean. Great geographical location as the center of London is 15 minutes away via Thamelinks
Thamelinks at 2min and underground at 15min.
Supermarket at 2minutes away, very convenient for food shopping.
The only drawback is the noise of the pedestrian crossing which beeps regularly but after a week we pay less attention to it
- Alice (8/5): Very good - Had everything we needed for a few days, good size, very clean, owner provided a cot on request Sits on Loughborough junction so traffic is rather loud.
Has alot of stairs up to the apartment, we had a baby and 2year old so was quite tricky getting in and out. Had to leave our buggy under the stairs but it was safe
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - We liked the fact that the apartments are very large, spacious, bright and cozy. There is everything for a comfortable stay. I also really liked the communication with the owner. He always answered very quickly and helped with any question.
