Mein Zimmer war gut Ausgestattet und Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles war sehr sauber. Frühstück fand ich auch sehr gut mit einem tollen Ausblick aufs Meer. Sehenswürdigkeiten direkt in der Nähe 👍

- Robert (3/5): Do not stay here - Clean and close to the historic sites. Salih at the front desk was kind, but was unable to help with our complaints. Very hot in the room. The thermostat can only be controlled by the guest for an hour or two before it shuts off. Also, due to political unrest, each night a very loud stereo would blast annoying music for hours making it impossible to sleep. Salih at the front desk said it has been going on for weeks, and even the police cannot do anything except run them off, only to hear them return a short while later

- SHARON (10/5): Hidden gem in old Istanbul. - The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location was very close to local sites. The haman foam bath and Turkish massage with Elana in the hotel was sensational. We booked room with sea view which I'd recommend. If you like cats leave your window open late afternoon and you might just have 2 gorgeous visitors pop in to say hi! That we only stayed 2 nights! The rooms are a little on the small side but we knew and accepted that before we booked.

Great sea view also. I would highly recommend it if you want to be close to the Blue Masjid and Ayia Sofia Masjid.

- Alla (2/5): Безобразно - Расположение недалеко от Голубой мечети В самом отеле плохо все: завтраки ужасные, есть вообще нечего, при заселении не обеспечили подтвержденные письменно раздельные кровати, как ни в чем не бывало настойчиво пытались положить в одну кровать мам с 19-ти летними сыновьями (2 номера), заселения ждали 1 час при том, что приехали около 17час и позже указанного времени не менее, чем на час, на ресепшен встречал абсолютно больной сотрудник, чихал и обливался соплями, отель такой маленький, что телегу с хоз бытовыми предметами им некуда убрать и она всегда стояла прям у лифта. Стены в номерах картонные.

- GusterChe (6/5): Location was the only good thing about the hotel. Overall, we would not book the room here again. - Location was great. All the famous sights were within a walking distance. At first, even though we reached out beforehand to ask for a specific room, we were given a different one. The staff tried to convince us it is the same room, but then told us we could switch rooms in the morning. In the morning, they tried to make us wait from 9 to 14 in order to get to our room, but after we said we need to rest and use the room they told us we were 'lucky' and the room is cleaned early and then took us to the room we booked. Besides the receptionists, who were not very polite, the staff did not speak any English making it very difficult to communicate. The room was not very clean, the floors were dusty, the bathroom ventilation was not working, also when they realized we were using the AC they just turned it off for our room. Everything in the room was quite old, you could tell the things need to be changed or they were not maintained properly. At breakfast, you would have to be early even though it ends at 10:30, they did not refill the food.

Mein Zimmer war geräumig und sehr sauber, mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf das Meer und die Ruinen eines alten Palastes, ein wirklich einzigartiges Panorama am Morgen. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und bot viele leckere Optionen. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist ideal – nur wenige Gehminuten von der historischen Altstadt Istanbuls entfernt. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die Komfort und Atmosphäre schätzen. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and spotless, with a stunning view of the sea and an old palace ruin, truly a unique backdrop to wake up to. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Breakfast was rich and varied, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The hotel’s location is also ideal, just a short walk to the historic old town of Istanbul. Highly recommended for both comfort and atmosphere.

We asked for sea view and we have a Metro 5 meters from our window. As was promoted as a special discount of 600€ with normal price of 2000€ - it didn't worth even 600€. - Mehmet (10/5): Best place in Sultanahmet, Old Town of Istanbul - I loved the location of the hotel. It is secluded and quite, has a nice sea view and but also is very close to Sultanahmet Square. The breakfast was really nice, it is rich and you can order omelettes. The breakfast area/restaurant of the hotel directly sees an old roman palace’s ruins. I felt like a medieval noble haha!

The gym is very small and used as storage space for ironing boards etc. - not ideal for workouts.

- Love (7/5): Don’t fall for the super “special offer” - Don’t fall for the super “special offer” of half price or more discount. That is absolutely nonsense. The place is fine, rooms are clean and showers have good water pressure. We booked a corner sea view room and paid for the best room to only walk into a tiny room with a tiny window with no sea view from the room, only from the balcony. We asked immediately ti be moved but it was only possible from the next evening. Breakfast was so mediocre with no eggs to order, instead they have boiled eggs and cheap viennas. They have a coffee machine but it only serves instant coffee. It was actually very disappointing. You have use of the sauna and hammam for one hour - which is not enough at all. They give soap, shampoo & conditioner but no scrub for the hammam , which is quite pointless. Ali was a fabulous and very friendly bell boy, waiter and ‘water deliverer’ to the room. Would I stay there again? Definitely not, it is totally over priced.

Pretty quiet despite being above the railway line. We booked an airport transfer as our flight arrived at 23:55 but it didn't turn up and we were not informed of this so had to get a more expensive taxi.

I believe I had asked a higher room with a balcony . We didn’t have an elevator and are not young travellers. We had to step into the shower to get in the bathroom comfortably and the space between the toilet and sink I barely comfortable. If you are bigger people, it’s a problem.
- Mehmet (10/5): Hidden Gem in Istanbul - The hotel was lovely. The breakfast area/restaurant was amazing, it has the view of an ancient roman palace + sea. I heard from staff that the chairs and tables in the restaurant were newly renovated and they were beautiful. Other than that the hotel is in a serene location but also is close to Sultanahmet Square. I loved my room, I think I was upgraded. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and professional. I would definitely stay in this hotel again when I come to Istanbul. I think this place is a semi hidden gem. Interestingly they make great latte macchiato and homemade cheesecake!! I loved everything about the hotel

- Salman (9/5): Nice hotel with nice staff - They took extra care of us to make it feel comfortable. Arranged for room upgrade and Turkish Bath etc. There location and breakfast was also good. They have very nice reception and other staff. The complementary water bottle was given for the first day only, where as in all other hotels that we stayed in Turkey had complementary water bottle everyday after room cleaning.

So after complaining for 3 day the changed me to a better room but still not the sea view I paid for. The fitness studio is just some walking machines and a rack of small weights

- Amostafa7 (6/5): Good value for money if you're not looking for a fancy place to stay. - The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of Sultanahmed's historical district. The hotel has limited rooms with balconies and sea views, the breakfast was appalling.I booked a sea view room with a balcony and when I arrived, they offered me a small room with a limed sea view and a very small balcony and they changed to the room that I had booked it after two days. Staff are very friendly and specific. MR. SAELH. Instead of Sultanahmet, I would recommend staying in Karaköy, which has more life and plenty of cafes and shops open until late at night. Breakfast was a disaster.

- Aslam (8/5): Overall happy but very disappointed with breakfast staff and cruise return drop-off faraway - Room - Good, they shows with balcony but be careful they have one more building just opposite to the original hotel in which they do not have balcony. Also there is a strange stinky smell at the inside the entrance of the building. Location - Superb, correct place for the Blue Mosque/Hajia sofia/ grand bazar Breakfast - Be there at 9am, or else you have nothing to eat and the staff really do not bother to serve you if you are non-white, if you are white they will come to your place and serve you even if you are almost late to your breakfast. I felt and experienced that. Nothing new or much in the breakfast. Wifi is not working in the new building. Ask for the room with balcony, do not worry if you are white they will automatically give the room with balcony, i think. Spa is not interesting? More important bad experience i have faced is - Dinner in bosporus elite cruise ship - where they should pick you up from the hotel and drop you at the hotel. They have picked me and my family [wife and two kids] from the hotel and drop me somewhere which i do not know away from my hotel at midnight 12.45, i have struggled to get back to my hotel after 25 minutes of walk and there is no one to ask on the road and i do not have mobile date on my mobile to navigate to the hotel and at last with the help of traffic police, he gave me the direction which i have fallowed and reached the hotel at night 1.30. When I explained this to the hotel they simply said they will check with the elite cruise and no sorry and no compensation and nothing, simply they do not worried and if you are white it might have a different case....!

- Mary (9/5): Charming quiet room with modern bath, 10-15 minute walk from all major sites. Lovely terrace. - Great location, lovely room with ocean view, excellent breakfast buffet AND a tiny lobby bar if you wanted to grab a drink for your room. More English language TV channels.

- Rajaa (10/5): Lovely vacation spot with charming decor. - Loved everything about this hotel. The views, the staff, the decor. It was all so wonderful. It was a little hard to get to by car, but that’s to be expected in the heart of the city. The location was perfect for walking.

- Chad (10/5): Great staff, location, and Cats! - Great stay. They had some kittens that the kids loved to play with. Staff was super friendly and they arranged a tour along with airport transfers. Reasonable rates. Use the hotel staff to book your excursions as they remove the “Tourist discount” from the activity. Lol The area is very near the the old town and easy to walk around. This area also has a ton of cats, which was awesome for the kids as the cats were rather friendly. Rooms are a bit partitioned IMO. we had a connected room and would have been nice to have a balcony to view the surrounding area which was beautiful.
