• Melike (2/5): War ein Geschenk für meinen Bruder und seinen besten Freund. Der eine hatte am 23.04 und der andere am 24.04 Geburtstag. - Für diesen Preis so eine Leistung anzubieten ist echt Unterste Schublade und der Service im Hotel verspricht Sachen, die sie dann nicht einhalten.

• Bongo the dog (9/5): Good location, clean, nice coffe-shop in the lobby. - The hotel is very clean, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It is very comfortable and conveniently located near the metro and tram stations. The bathroom was very clean, and the hotel offers excellent amenities. Access to the hotel can be a little difficult with large suitcases because the front stairs are very narrow. However, there is a ramp available that helps.

• Sarah (9/5): Comfy stay close to transit and with free laundry facilities - The front desk staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help us with any questions we had. The laundry facilities and the water fountain to fill up your water bottles was also an added bonus. The only people that weren't as friendly were the ones that worked at the cafe. The prices were also extremely expensive for coffee/snacks and were surprisingly cheaper for those things even in downtown Amsterdam. The cafe also didn't open until late some days which was weird.

• Flávio (6/5): - Good amenities including a complimentary pool, table tennis and a gym. Good breakfast, though it could use more fruit. Right next to GVB stations. The main floor often had spilled liquids, and the staff seemed indifferent. We later understood why. After accidentally breaking a glass and spilling beer while carrying it to our table, we picked up the shards and flagged down a staff member, expecting assistance. Instead, they simply brought towels and instructed us to clean the mess ourselves, saying, "Do your best." It is baffling that customers are expected to clean the floor. To make matters worse, even after we cleaned up, they did not offer a replacement beer despite the amount we had already spent. Shower caulking had developed unsightly dark spots.

• Desiree (9/5): Comfortable, convenient and friendly - I was offered an upgrade just before arrival. The room was clean and in excellent condition. The laundry and restaurant on the premises is great. Train station and tram are just outside the door Nothing in particular.

• Tien (8/5): Affordable hotel that's well located with good amenities. - The hotel is located next to the Jan van Galenstraat metro station (2 minute walk) so it made it easy for us to commute to our destinations during our vacation in the Netherlands. With only a few stops, we were easily connecting to intercity/sprinter trains stations. The hotel was also close to breakfast restaurants, parks and convenience stores. The lobby has a big seating area for working as this was a requirement for us to be able to remote work during our stay. The room was a bit small for 2 person but it was just enough for our needs. The free wifi was unstable at times, but we were also just in our room during the morning and night, so no big deal!

La cercanía a la parada del tren (a un minuto). El paseo de diez minutos hasta la parada de autobús que te deja en la Estación Central en quince minutos. El confort de la cama. Que aparecieran a limpiar la habitación en plena siesta :) Creo que es algo caro en cuanto relación calidad/precio.

Lo que menos, quizás la ubicación, algo alejado del centro, aunque estaba muy bien comunicado. El tranvía número 13 te dejaba en el centro. Tuvimos que solicitar dos veces la reparación de las luces.

• David (10/5): Great value hotel in Amsterdam West. - The Social Hub is actually a student dorm which has a few hotel rooms. We stayed here because our daughter was living in The Social Hub during her first year at UVA, so we got to spend more time with here by stayung there. The rooms are therefore simple with basic furniture but everyhting was very clean and practical. The beds are very comfortable!!! For the money, the hotel is very good value. There is a great breakfast cafeteria in the lobby. The metro and tram stops are right beside The Social Hub. No need to walk anywhere to get public transportation. The Social Hub has student vibes. The shower could be a bit stronger and warmer but it wasnt bad. The Social Hub Amsterdam West is not located near the downtown area or the tourist attractions. You will have to take trams or metros to go anywhere but these are very close.

• Antonino L (10/5): Eccezionale! più di quello che cercavo - Soggiornare al The Social Hub Amsterdam West è stato una vera sorpresa. Non è il solito hotel grigio e formale, ma un ambiente dinamico, giovanile e organizzato alla perfezione. ​Cosa mi ha colpito di più: ​L’accoglienza: Arrivare in camera e trovare una cartolina scritta a mano e una barretta di cioccolato locale è quel tipo di attenzione al dettaglio che ti fa sentire subito il benvenuto. Non è scontato. ​Check-in e check-out rapidissimi in totale autonomia. ​Servizi top (e gratuiti!): Una delle chicche è la lavanderia: basta scaricare l’app dell’hotel e puoi usare lavatrice e asciugatrice gratuitamente. Un plus incredibile per chi viaggia. ​Spazi comuni: C’è di tutto. Una palestra attrezzata seriamente, una biblioteca per chi vuole un po' di silenzio e un'area relax fantastica. Il bar è perfetto per l’aperitivo e ci sono anche le macchinette se hai una voglia improvvisa di snack. C'è anche il calcio balilla, ping pong e un tavolo da biliardo! ​La camera: Nonostante l’ambiente sia molto vivo e "social", le camere sono sorprendentemente silenziose, pulitissime e dotate di tutto il necessario. Si dorme davvero bene. ​Il personale: Ragazzi sempre disponibili a qualsiasi ora. Anche se rientri tardi, trovi sempre qualcuno pronto ad accoglierti con il sorriso, il che dà un bel senso di sicurezza e ospitalità. Trasporti: Vicino alla metro e alla fermata del tram, puoi andare ovunque pur essendo fuori dal centro senza troppa fatica. ​In breve: se cerchi un posto organizzato, moderno e con un'atmosfera vibrante, vai a colpo sicuro. Ci tornerò sicuramente!😎😎 trovare qualcosa che non sia piaciuto è difficile...tutto ottimo!

• Pam (8/5): Quiet and comfy - Breakfast was very good, a lot of choices. The location is away from tourists and pretty quiet. Public transportation is very close and easy to use. I slept very well here, comfy bed and very quiet at night. Nothing was ever crowded. Easy to stay here. I would come back. At first I felt kind of a dorm type vibe, but I ended up really liking it here.

Posizionato fuori dal centro a circa 20 minuti con i mezzi pubblici, la fermata di tram e metro è davanti alla struttura. Con un Uber si spendono circa 20 euro per raggiungere la stazione centrale. Zona tranquilla. Cambio di asciugamani giornaliero. Servizio di lavanderia gratuito. Struttura moderna e ben organizzata. La doccia senza il doccino

Nice view from the room. Tasty breakfast, a lot of tables. In the lobby there are boardgames, table tennis, photo booth, so perfect for having some fun. There was a suspicious stain on the wall, but it wasn't new and didn't smell, so probably fine, but it could be painted or hidden somehow.
