Guest Reviews
- Steve (1/5): Absolutely appalling. We paid the money and the host let us done. They where a no show - Nothing as we where scammed and never stayed there We where scammed and never stayed there
- Lucas (1/5): -
- Edward (1/5): no one showed up we had to book alternative acommodation - No one showed up to meet us no one showed up we had to book alternative accommodation
- Claire (1/5): - Don't know, didn't get to see it That we were left without somewhere to stay and £240 down due to the host sending a brief two word message instead of cancelling the booking before the payment could be taken. Booking.com better get this sorted
- Arron (7/5): O2 stay - Location Going to a shop to get the keys
- Lisa (3/5): It’s a nice place but it says check in at three. We didn’t get into the apartment until 4:30 so we couldn’t chill out be - It was close to where we were going It was close to the O2
- Laura (5/5): Overnight Stay - Location to the 02 We were disappointed with our stay. Although the building is smart and close to the 02, the apartment is very tired.
Points I would raise were:
The bed linen looked used and of a poor standard, I have attached some images, it just looked like someone had slept in it previously.
Towels were very worn.
The tap in the kitchen is broken, the handle comes off when you turn it on.
The kettle doesn't boil unless you keep your finger on the on button.
The sheer curtains are falling off the rail and there are no sheer curtains in the bedroom so you have to keep the curtains drawn for privacy.
The overall cleanliness of the flat wasn't of the standard we would expect.
As the apartments is advertised as 'luxury' the stay was not of that standard.
- Barbara (5/5): Passable -
- Michelle (9/5): Excellent - Great location Could do with a few better quality bath towels
- Becky (1/5): Not good. Be warned. - Location was great for our venue booked at the O2 arena Check-in delayed as cleaner allegedly let them down. Vendor didn’t reply quickly enough to make alternative arrangements. Asked at the desk and turns out it’s illegally sub-let. Had to trek 15min to a scruffy mini market store to collect keys. Staff there would not release key without a code. When he did reply, told us a guy was looking for me to give me some toilet roll as there wasn’t any in the property. Finally made it but made us late, and so had to cancel original plans. Apartment was not fully clean. Bedding messy. Fixtures and fitting in bathroom broken. Kettle switch faulty. Shane as it wasn’t cheap. Beware.
- Beverley (3/5): Poor - Location was excellent. Lovely apartment but not clean. Chairs were stained. The shower didn't work. Bedding was disgusting and hadn't even bothered to iron it. The price I paid I expected better. These apartments were privately owned and just sub letted out. I'm surprised that booking.com allowed the advertising of this. At one point, I felt a little unsafe.
- Jasmine (7/5): Good -
- Asad (4/5): Ok - It has everything in their Dirty filthy
- Brad (9/5): Incredible - Very close to 02
- Tolga (8/5): Very good -
- Tania (5/5): Disappointing - It didn’t say when booking the apartment you would have to go and collect the keys from a shop 15 minute walk from the apartment.
There was no hairdryer which I would of thought there would be in an luxury apartment
The floors were dirty
The towels were damp
There was damp laundry thrown in the wardrobe
- Natasha (9/5): I’d stay again - Location perfect location for the o2 arena. Was an excellent day to stay there was a great atmosphere in the area. Modern, clean and amenities all close proximity. It Would have been nice to have some bottled water and small milk. Also think the host should meet at the property. Check in times are abit late, but we were flexible and host was accommodating no fault of their own. (Previous guest overstayed) communication drinks the host was good.
- Hannah (8/5): Great - Location was amazing! Communication with owner was great, we had a hiccup with check in time but they did all they could to get us in earlier than previously stated.
Picking the key up from another location isn’t ideal but it wasn’t a problem, the weather was nice.. however I can imagine in the rain or cold it would be awful having to walk 10 mins and back to collect the keys
Apartment was nice and clean
It has potential to be a really amazing stay, just needs a few tweaks
Fresh paint work would make it feel cleaner
Bedding being ironed/plain bedding also would feel nicer
Door should be able to be locked from inside (didn’t like the fact it was unlocked all night regardless of safety of the building.
Personal items need to be removed
Cupboards should be checked as to what food items are in there as there were 3 month out of date eggs and they stank
New towels
A long mirror in bedroom
Things like a hairdryer would also up facilities
Maybe even furniture on the balcony?
- Gemma (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oconnor (10/5): Brilliant will return - Location was great lots of communication comfortable and clean All great
- Ziyu (1/5): Disappointing Stay – Poor Check-in, Unclean Room, and Misleading Listing - The location is good and close to O2 arena. My experience at this accommodation was disappointing. The check-in process was a mess—I collected the key from a store 15 mins away from the accommodation and I was left waiting outside in the wind for 20 minutes. When I finally got inside, the room was not properly cleaned, extremely the toilet, which was unacceptable
Additionally, this property appears to be operating illegally as a short-term rental. Many advertised amenities, such as the swimming pool, are actually only available to long-term tenants, which is misleading. And I was told not to talk to the reception because the accommodation does not allow short term rentals and we might be asked to leave if we were found by the reception. I would not recommend staying here.
- Sharmila (10/5): Highly recommend. Would definitely book again. - Style and location
- Claire (10/5): Highly recommended for a 02 London stay - The location was perfect for our concert at the o2 very clean everything you needed in the property also the communication between us was brilliant and clear answered all the questions we had highly recommended Nothing
- Teresa (1/5): Shocking!! - How close it was to the 02 DO NOT BOOK!!! Did not expect to pick keys up from a shop 10 minutes away. Didn't have a code so whoever the man was texting me saying he's from booking.com said he'll send his friend to give me the keys. I felt very unsafe!! Upon getting to the hotel I was told by text message...not to talk to anyone and go straight to the room. The room was far from luxury. It was dirty everywhere! The bed sheet had a big brown stain. I was so upset that I could not stay in this place. I told whoever the person texting me and he said leave the keys on the table if I didn't want to stay there. I'm so upset with the whole experience! I feel for anyone who's booked and looking forward to a luxury weekend or night away. I'm fighting for a full refund. This place needs stopping !!! NOT LUXURY AT ALL!!!!
- Amanda (5/5): Whilst the apartment was in a nice block, it was far from ‘luxury’. Very stark? - Confused communication between where I was picking up the keys - I wasn’t advised I needed a code, had to call the host to provide this.
- Kimuli (8/5): Very good -
- Karolina (3/5): Poor - Location is a plus but that's about it. Firstly the key pick up was in different location then the hotel was like 15 min walk time and we find out at 14:50 that this is the case and that we need to check in at 4pm. Then we god the keys and 5 min after we got instruction on WhatsApp app saying we shall not speak to the front desk, that was already red flag. When we entered the apartment, it was dirty, dirty clothes , toiletries in the bathroom, and even a used preservatives in the bin in the bathroom totally disgusting. Private letters in the drower, looks like someone is leaving there and just hiding things when somone is renting it and going to sleep somewhere. There was not even towels left for us.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
- Gray (10/5): Exceptional -
- Its (7/5): Good -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (6/5): 3 mins walk from the O2 but the keys has to collected another 10 mins away from the apartment! - The location was fantastic. We were not aware until the day of our booking the keys had to be collected from a different location. Booked to be close to the O2 as my husband has an issue with his knee and walking. We were sent an address to pick the keys up on the day. Arrived at that location to be told we couldn’t pick the keys up without a code from the owner. After a couple of emails a phone call and WhatsApp message we got the keys.
Communication was not great. Asked re the pool and close by shops but had no response. Also received a message at 6am re checking out.
Very few glasses in the accommodation.
- Hamima (8/5): Very good -
- Aj (8/5): Excellent location - Excellent location, comfortable and clean. Waited for the keys to be available and to pick it up in a shop is a bit of hassle but everything else was superb.
- Ana (5/5): Passable - Good location. Poor communication with the host that is rude, place was not clean except for bed, poor quality bath towels, everything was out of place, appliances dirty and smelling really bad.
Our check in was delayed in one our and half, in the ad says the the check in is at 15:00, i message early morning to ask for the keys, because before that i didn’t had any contact from the host explaining anything, the place to pick up the keys is not at the place, you have to walk 10 min from the flat to get it from a random store.
I found really unfair since that if i will probably had to pay if i decided to arrive 1 hour and a half later.
We arrived at 15:00 and message him saying that we were there, he said the the cleaner was there and that he will tell me when the flat was ready, 1 hour and a half later he message with a link to pick up the keys.
The checkout day was the same thing, I message hum about the keys, didn’t even bother to answer.
The place is in an amazing location, but the host is rude, the communication is beyond poor, the place was not clean at all except for bed sheets.
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - Good communication. Accommodation was perfect
- Jody (9/5): Perfect location for O2 arena, really clean and comfortable. Views fantastic. The owner was fast to respond and gave cle - Location and comfort Nothing
- Olakunle (3/5): bad host - I encountered a disappointing experience with my host, which I found to be unprofessional and lacking in courtesy. I arrived in London at 6 PM and was not informed in advance about the late check-in policy. While I was on the train heading to London, I communicated my expected arrival time to the host. However, he informed me that I could not wait for him and that he would be dropping the key off at a location approximately 10-15 minutes away from my accommodation.
Given the circumstances, I explained that I could not walk that distance, especially as it was raining and my girlfriend was not feeling well. Unfortunately, the host appeared unconcerned and insisted that my arrival at 6 PM constituted a late check-in, despite the absence of such a policy stated in the property listing.
I believe that for the price I paid, I should have received a higher standard of service. While the apartment itself was satisfactory and without issue, the difficulties I faced with the host and the key collection process were frustrating. It is unreasonable to expect guests to walk 10-15 minutes in the rain to retrieve keys, especially when alternatives such as a key safe could easily be implemented.
I understand that not all properties can be inspected by booking platforms, but I believe that basic accommodations like key safes should be prioritized to enhance the guest experience.
- Winston (10/5): Exceptional - Very close to o2
- Moushomi (7/5): the stay at the apartment was lovely. communication with host was easy but to pick up the Keys with suitcases was hard a - it was clean and has a lovely view and loved the interior. I didn’t like the whole picking up the key from another place which was a 10min walk. also the pillows was so low uncomfortable to sleep on.
- Wendy (5/5): Apartment is functional and adequate but definitely not luxury as advertised. - Location was wonderful for o2 and Excel The cleanliness needs to be improved. Cheap pillows and bed made for a poor nights sleep.
- Ben (9/5): Liked it - Good stay good location Close to o2 and swimming pool
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- Éva (7/5): With a more attention and care of the host it could be a very good place - The location was excellent, next to O2, after the concert 100 meter walk to get back. The apartment is nice, big, beautiful view , very quiet. The entrance to the building during the stay was easy. Instant coffee and tea is available, water in the fridge The floor was dirty, bed smell in the bathroom, mold on the wall. Bin was not emptied. To get the key for the appartment was very complicated, have to pick up on a different place, 30 min walk extra to go there and back. Lots of sms to get the right instruction; I felt myself as in an escape room in Greenwich...
- Fiona (4/5): Definitely would not stay here again - Clear access instructions
The location to the 02 arena.
Easy to find.
Parking close by.
View of the river
Easy entry to building. Not “luxury” apartment as described.
Air conditioning was not central - but a stand-alone unit (which we found in the wardrobe) where the hose has to go out of the window. Too noisy to use with windows open. Apartment/building generally very hot.
Very creased, unappealing bed linen and duvet.
Mould on the walls. Bad smell in bathroom.
Listing stated washing machine, but inaccessible due to piles of dirty laundry.
Accommodation not as described on Booking.com
Freezer unusable due to frost build up - door wouldn’t open/close properly.
Very disappointed
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Ideal location for a gig at the o2. Host was very friendly
- Ann (8/5): We had a lovely stay. - The location was amazing. The taps in the kitchen didn't work.
- Allen (10/5): Peefect - It felt like home as soon as we arrived, we went to watch the darts and it was perfect! 2 minutes walk to the o2 Finding the building was abit difficult but the owner FaceTimed us to make sure we could find ir
- Kathie (10/5): Perfect location - The location and the property Location, facilities
- Thayna (10/5): Excellent - It was the perfect location for going to a concert in the o2. It was a two minute walk. The pool and terrace area was amazing to relax. The apartment is spacious and host was very accommodating.
- Kerri (10/5): Exceptional - The location and views were amazing
- Julie (7/5): great location lovely apartment - cleanliness let it down - great location, comfy beds, everything we needed for a short stay we were not told how to access the pool, and so didn’t get to use it as we never had time by the time we received a response
the apartment was dirty, the floor was dirty clumps of hair and dust everywhere, dirty hand prints all over glass doors, white residue of something all over dining table and coffee table, bed sheets not ironed, dirty socks left in a bedroom drawer, bin not emptied, food left in fridge, corks from bottles under tv unit …. we were not impressed, but it was a 1 night stay to attend the 02 so barely used the apartment
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bethany (10/5): Exceptional - Cannot fault this property! Lovely apartment and literally a 3 minute walk to the o2. Owners are quick to reply with instructions on meeting day!
- Colin (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent. I will come here again.
- Jaison (9/5): What a find - Great location just 5 minutes walk to the 02 arena, very quiet with a view over the Thames.
Good sized apartment in a private complex with concierge reception 24/7.
Various essential items provided e.g. Milk, coffee, sugar, bread etc.
Very comfortable bed and great value for money given it's proximity to the 02 and surrounding area. Needed a mirror in the bedroom for my wife to do her hair etc but this would be my only negative comment, when we stay again we will know to bring one with us.
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean
- Sydney (8/5): Overall good experience. Would book again. - Location was perfect for what I needed and the views were superb from the balcony. It was an ideal base camp. The difficulty getting into the building to start with.
- Wendy (8/5): Ideal location, clean, tidy, efficient, just what we needed - Easy walk to the 02 Great apartment, nothing to report
