• James (10/5): - What wonderful experience in Osaka. There is only one room per floor. It was like safehouse to enter the hotel which was fun. Every room has different champagne brand theme and we had our own mini Onsen. Breakfast was served a room service and was delightful. It is also a short walk to the restaurants, shops and entertainment areas.

• Bernard (7/5): Boutique hotel, more focussed on style rather than practicalities of travelling. - We were initially given the penthouse room which was very small with no where to hang or store clothes. Staff were very accommodating and changed us next day to a larger room which was very good. Good location near busy area of Shinsaibashi and close to subway for travel round Osaka. Lack of a restaurant/bar area. Breakfast is served in room and you need to give exact time when you want it so lack of flexibility.

• Lourdes (10/5): Un hotel excepcional en una ubicación excepcional - Un hotel muy especial, cada piso es una amplia habitación, con buena visa sobre Osaka. El servicio impecable, la habitación amplia y con un onsen de agua circulante, los pijamas que proporcionan son de algodón super comodos, y el desayuno servido en la habitación, tanto el tipo japonés como el occidental, muy apetecibles y bien presentados. Un gran servicio pues el día que saliamos a las 6:30 del hotel, nos subieron el desayuno puntualmente a las 6:00 Se nota la atención a todos los detalles: el gran espejo del baño se empaña al ducharse con agua caliente, pero queda una zona, justo la que vas a utilizar para mirate, que no se empaña!! (me gustaría saber cómo se consigue...) Nos encantó todo.

• Guadalupe (10/5): Lugar especial, muy tranquilo y excepcionalmente bien ubicado - Es un hotel muy especial. Con una ubicación excelente y unas habitaciones muy amplias y bien equipadas. Es muy tranquilo, está en una calle silenciosa y tiene todo tipo de comodidades. Y cuenta con con un staff muy servicial. Podría mejorar la calidad de los colchones. Y el desayuno. Todos los días lo mismo. Y la bollería seca. Y el zumo de bote. Creo que eso es muy mejorable. Y deberían hacerlo, porque el hotel es estupendo y sería simplemente increíble. Tambien las personas que trabajan en él deberían manejarse algo mejor con el inglés. Era difícil comunicarse. Pero eran muy amables.

• Won Kim (9/5): Conveniently located, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Most of all, great bath tub - 1. Breakfast: I liked the pastry, yogurt, and toasted and honey butter bread for breakfast. It was perfect for the start of the day. Also, they accommodated our early departure and provide breakfast early. 2.Most loved about the continue running of the bath tub. Long day of exploring in Osaka and Kyoto, it was perfect for relaxation. 3. pajamas for two. Very comfortable I didn't like the bed shoved against the wall. Difficult to get in and out of the bed. Over all, it was a good stay.

• Nicholas (10/5): A friendly staff at a beautiful hotel with a fun champagne theme, which also boasts a great restaurant that had an impre - The staff was friendly and accommodating from booking until check out, and answered any questions I had prior to check in promptly. It was in a great location that allowed us to easily get around Osaka. As well, the omakase dinner we had at the hotel’s restaurant was incredible. Room can get quite hot if the sun is shining and the blinds are open. Fortunately the air conditioning worked well and got the room back to a comfortable temperature quickly.

• Ilan (8/5): - Great room size, good water pressure and awesome bath. Good location and killer French restaurant in front of the building Feels like a romantic solitary escape location. Breakfast is not worth it at all and hardly counts as breakfast. Too much light everywhere with switch for light distribution across all rooms making it a chore each night to get the room dark.

This list will always be on my list for a stay in Osaka. - The setting and facilities of the hotel room, in addition with the amenities like welcoming Champagne and candy, are very comforting. I really hope that some meat could be added in the western-style breakfast.

La mattina abbiamo chiesto di poter avere dei croissant e ci hanno riferito che erano finiti e andavo ordinati. Ovviamente non trovando altre soluzioni. Il bagno è terribile. La porta è direttamente aperta sul salotto e non c’è privacy. Bagno troppo piccolo e stretto. Ogni volta che entravamo in camera trovavamo un sacco di umidità e un caldo pazzesco perché il personale lasciava sempre la porta aperta del bagno da dove usciva il calore dell’Onsen accanto alla doccia. Non consiglierei a nessuno questa struttura. Siamo molto delusi. Vorremmo richiedere un rimborso totale. Speravamo di goderci questo soggiorno.

Also the sushi restaurant is the best experience of my stay in Japan ! Thanks to the great chef! I disliked the breakfast, in the room and very poor in my opinion.

• Aleen (9/5): - We had a great stay at this uniquely designed hotel. The attention to detail is truly impressive. Each room takes up an entire floor which offers ample space for guests to enjoy. The hot tub is pre-filled with hot water. The amenities provided are topnotch. Location is great; within 10-15 minutes walk to Dotonbori yet in a quite area. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to David who went above and beyond to help us with our travel arrangements and luggage forwarding to Tokyo. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel. Check-in process was a bit slow.

The luggage were sent to the room in advance and there were welcome champagne upon checking in. The room is quite large so enough spaces for luggage Though there were two pillows but they were not so supportive to the neck, but not too bad.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent omakase dining experience at your hotel restaurant on 28/06/2025 From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an overwhelmingly strong fishy smell, which immediately made me uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the quality of the food only worsened the experience. Each piece of sushi tasted overly fishy and unpleasant, and the fish did not harmonize at all with the rice underneath—it felt disjointed and poorly prepared. Additionally, I was quite surprised to see that the chef did not wear a hat while preparing food in front of guests, which raises concerns about hygiene standards in your establishment. I had high expectations for this meal, especially as part of my trip to Japan, where culinary standards are world-renowned. Regrettably, this turned out to be the most disappointing meal of my entire trip. I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it to improve your food quality and hygiene practices moving forward.

• Senior (1/5): A Joke of a Hotel – Avoid at All Costs - Nothing is good Cuvee J2 in Osaka was one of the most underwhelming and overhyped hotel experiences I’ve ever hadi. It is all style, zero substance. The design screams wannabe boutique but ends up feeling more like a sterile showroom than a warm, livable space. Cold, clinical, and trying way too hard to be "minimalist chic" without offering any real comfort. The room had all the charm of a dental clinic — and about as much soundproofing. Rooms are noisy thanks to constant road traffic — so much for peace or sleep. There are better hotels in the vicinity or other SLH properties in Osaka.

• Ka (6/5): Not worth the premium price. Disappointing. - Cleanliness and design. 1. A bottle of champagne, which had been included in the package, was not provided on arrival. Had to show the staff booking confirmation proof and explain to them again and again, before the champagne was sent to our room. Although they sent an additional half bottle of champagne as apology, that would not be the services expected for the room rate charged. 2. Cleaning was not done at the time agreed I.e. 11 am. Could not use the room when we returned at about 4 pm as the staff were half way through the cleaning process. 3. Yogurt was not refilled for breakfast on the second day. 4. No reply to email for their sushi restaurant reservations.
