- Maxine (5/5): We enjoyed being so close to family and town but there were a few things that would’ve made the stay better. - Great location within walking distance to shops, park, train station, restaurants etc. Comfortable furniture and clean linen and towels. Good Wi-Fi. Owner left a play mat for the kids which was very thoughtful. Some complimentary toiletries and cleaning detergents were provided and some basic pantry items. Kitchen had some good appliances and cookware. Parking is really difficult when others are parked in front of unit. Found items left behind by previous tenants. Not enough cutlery eg only 2 teaspoons. Not enough hot water for 2 people to shower after one another. No plug in the bath so was unable to bath our 2 year old twins on the first night. Was told to buy our own plug when I contacted the owner. The gate remote battery needed to be replaced. I would suggest that a few items be added to the kitchen like a can opener, better cutlery that is not broken and more teaspoons, some plastic containers for storing leftovers, more clothes pegs and a clothes horse (airer) for rainy days, a laundry basket for dirty laundry and one to carry wet clothes from washer. Instructions on how to operate the washer/dryer.
