Guest Reviews
- Gail (8/5): -
- Graham (8/5): Overall excellent- we enjoyed our stay - Very clean, good facilities, very comfortable, good location Oven 'clunky' , hard to open, hard to work- may benefit from instructions.
Flow of the house a little 'quirky'- second loo out the back of the house away from second bedroom
- Sean (10/5): -
- Shailender (7/5): Everything else in terms of facilities, location, backyard was excellent - Space and location Sofa in living area was not clean. It had stains like never cleaned.

- Marinela (10/5): We loved our stay at this propriety. - We had a great stay at this propriety, it has all the amenities required for a homely stay. Comfortable beds and nice bed linen. Nice clean white towels. We were coming from another location and had few clothes to wash, and had used the washing machine and the dryer, which were really good. We liked the quirkiness and the style of this renovated home. Still a bit of work required but we really liked the house. The garden was neat and spacious for my boys to kick a ball. The bathroom products for hair and body care were top quality, Australian owned products. Loved them! I will buy them for my home. The bedrooms windows did not have flies screening.
- Julian (9/5): Cozy place in quiet location - Very spacious place, both inside and outside. Well equipped with all the essentials, including some coffee capsules, laundry powder and dishwasher tabs. Check in and check out were super easy. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Location is very quiet and an easy 20min walk to the town centre and ferry. The frosted glass door to the toilet / shower was a bit odd as you can basically see through, but was fine for us.
- Amanda (9/5): Comfortable. practical and everything we needed. - I did have to request an SMS while I was on route to the property which I thought would have been sent to me automatically however the response was prompt and we gained access to the property with no issues. Could have had a couple more dish cloths for cleaning different surfaces in the house yet apart from that it was a perfect stay.
- Alicia (9/5): - Beautiful, comfortable home. Nothing.
- ian (10/5): Very enjoyable - Just the location, very quiet and not far from the main part of town
The facilities were excellent Nothing
- Paul (10/5): A lovely house. - This is a lovely house. It has things that are often missing: brush and dustpan; a knife that cuts fresh bread: a comfortable (not worn out) lounge; lots of cutlery and crockery; a secure yard for your dog.
It was really clean and bright. There are two showers.
The management at Mariner's Cove was really nice.
I could go on but I guess you've got the picture.
- Sam (9/5): We will come back again! - Was very clean, tidy and comfortable. No potato masher:)
- Michelle (8/5): - The inside of the house was fantastic Had to dog proof the back yard. There was a big gape under the house that the dogs could get through from the backyard to the front and onto the road. There were bits and pieces of materials we blocked it off with. Also along the fence and back gate, our little dog could get under so we again had to block this off with bricks. There was also quite a bit of old dog poo when we arrived and we cleaned it up.
- Mark (10/5): Great for a holiday house everything you needed was there the sofa’s did have a lot of stains but were comfortable as I - Location the size of the house was perfect and excellent for pets great secure garden The back sliding door needs a bit of maintenance
- Kylie LP (8/5): - Very comfortable, nice beachy vibe, owner really friendly and responsive No ceiling fan or fly wire in 3rd bedroom, however on request the owner kindly dropped off a fan.
- Ann (10/5): -
- Suzanne (10/5): Felt like home, perfect for a pet friendly getaway - Super clean, fully fenced back yard
- Ross (9/5): Comfortable and secure - Ease of access, new kitchen and shower in master, drive through to backyard for good car security No toaster. However I used grill on brand new oven and that worked well
- Emma (10/5): -
- miles (8/5): - The house was lovely and cozy The fridge needed to be better cleaned, also thought there should be simple supplies like glad wrap and foil
Looked like the lawn person turned up one day while I was renting, if I had of been at the property at the time I would not have been pleased
Better window covering needed in the bedroom
- Tracey (8/5): Spacious & comfortable - Spacious, clean & easy for the dog, lovely backyard to play in. Access to property great too. Just missing some lighting in 2nd bedroom.
- Jan & Jeff (9/5): - Left a letter in kitchen with information Left a letter in kitchen with information
- Yasmin (10/5): Great location and had everything we needed for a fabulous family getaway - Very clean and comfortable with a great secure backyard for our puppy. Love it. Nothing it was fantastic
- Navjeet (9/5): Comfortable, safe and peaceful home - The layout of the house was great — spacious, cozy, and well thought out. It felt warm and welcoming, and the home was equipped with everything we needed, from toiletries like shampoo and soap to kitchen essentials like pots and pans. The kitchen was particularly clean and well-stocked, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. The neighbourhood was lovely and felt very safe, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The front door, while frosted, still allowed people from outside to partially see in, which made it feel a bit exposed. Similarly, the sliding doors didn’t have curtains or blinds.
- Paige (7/5): Paynesville - The location was good, close to shops and Raymond Island to see the Koalas which was the purpose of the trip for us. We went during winter and there was only 1 split system. It kept the lounge room warm to a degree, but still a bit chilly. We only had 1 blanket to put on our lap to keep the heat in while in the lounge. So it got quite cold around the house and in the rooms while trying to sleep. Also, as two friends staying together in the house, it was a bit awkward having a bathroom with frosted glass. We had to communicate to each other when we would use the bathroom so that we didn't walk past each other while using the toilet as you could see each others silhouettes.
- Alexander (10/5): It was a Great stay. Definitely recommend. - There's not much to do in Paynesville itself, but this house is a great base for trips around the Lake Entrance area.
This House is Very clean, modern and well renovated, and most importantly comfortable annd warm (it’s a winter now ! 😄) inside. Nothing
- Magda (7/5): Good . - House inside looked like it had recent renovations and was clean and bright . It wasn’t safe for dogs . The front gate needed
fixing and the back yard was not fenced separately from the front . We were assured that the front fence will be fixed but not in time for our stay .
- Mcauley (8/5): Very good -
- Nichols (7/5): Good - Great location, house was very clean and tidy and suited us all including our dog. BBQ and outdoor area lovely. Nice house for a couple of nights. Hardly any cutlery to use. Fan in rooms made loud clicking sounds had to use as no air conditioning.
