Guest Reviews
- Brodie (7/5): - Location is great. Short walk from tube station. There is a private shared garden at the back which was really lovely. This is a basement property and only one blind in the living room worked so the others were down all the time, so it’s quite dark.
As expected with a basement apartment, it’s a bit mouldy in the bathroom.
The cleaner did a good job though.
- Tom (9/5): Excellent location and good, sizeable flat. - Good communication with hosts beforehand and during. One very minor issue was sorted out very quickly.
Location was excellent, really close to the tube and Earl’s Court high street but tucked down a very quiet road.
Extra bathroom & toilet was very handy and the rooms were all a good size. Plenty of shelving and hanging space in the bedrooms. Wasn’t sure how to access the private park / gardens for the road as the gate was locked. I’m sure we could have asked the host but it was too cold for us to really want to use it. Perhaps some info in the book could be useful?
Couldn’t work out the jacuzzi bath functions. Again, not a big deal for us and sure we could have asked but some handy info could be useful.
- Sarah (1/5): Awful, do not stay here! - There was nothing to like about this apartment except for the location- very handy for ships on the high street and tube Everything. When we arrived the flat was in darkness as the power had gone but all the cleaner tried to do was show us the internet password( in the dark). The power was eventually restored meaning we could then see how bad the apartment was! The door to the ensuite didn’t close, there was a gap in the French door of the main bedroom so the cold came in. The side panel was hanging off the bath. The crockery and cutlery was all mismatched. I could go on. It was so bad we had to leave after the first night. After agreeing I could have a refund they are now refusing to pay me on a technicality
- Gary (1/5): - Space and location Maintainace during stay. Roof leaked twice. Wasted 50 % of holiday time waiting for repairs.
- laura (5/5): With some refurbishment would be the perfect holiday flat - Good location , spacious , 2 separate bathrooms useful for two couples . Nice kitchen and dining area. Nice and warm . Major renovations being undertaken in the upper floors so noisy and scaffold in situ . Badly needs refurbished. Roller blinds mainly broken , damp , hole in the ensuite bath as well as shower controls that were almost impossible to turn. , rusty shower head in the main bathroom . Stairs down were shallow with a wobbly hand rail so difficult with disability. Also alarmed when owner left a strict warning not to answer the door to neighbours in welcome pack. Seated 3 not 4 in living area. Communication re location of flat and how to access was not good.
- Pauline (7/5): - Quartier très pratique
Logement spacieux
Hôte très agréable Logement en sous-sol
Travaux de ravalement en cours
- Federico (10/5): - Posizione centrale e comoda, appartamento perfetto; host molto disponibile.
Torneremo sicuramente!
- Allan Frost (6/5): Great location and good space, but basement with no daylight; generally worn, one uncomfortable bed, - Good-sized flat with two large bedrooms; one has an ensuite.
Plenty of wardrobe space and lots of towels.
Very convenient location: a short walk to Earl’s Court Tube and a large Tesco.
Generous kitchen layout with full-size oven and hob (helpful in theory for longer stays).
All power sockets are UK-style; remember to bring your own EU→UK adapters. Overall condition felt worn/tired.
It’s a basement unit with no natural light; we relied on artificial lighting throughout the day.
One double bed had no mattress topper; the springs were clearly felt, so my wife shared the other double bed with our two daughters and our son used the sofa in the living room.
Kitchen had basic tableware (knives/forks/spoons), plus two pots and one very worn frying pan, but no cooking utensils (no spatula, ladle, cooking spoon, peeler, tongs, etc.), so cooking wasn’t really feasible.
Extractor-hood light wasn’t working, and the dishwasher had no salt or rinse aid.
The building was under renovation with scaffolding around the property; access was fine and we didn’t experience noise, but it’s worth noting.
Very weak Wi-Fi signal; we couldn’t stream films in the evening.
- Darren (8/5): Great Location with plenty of space. Few min walk to Earls court - We had a great stay at this 2-bed flat in Earl’s Court. The location is unbeatable—just a few minute walk from the tube from the Warwick Street exit, which made getting around London super convenient. There is a Tesco a few min talk away also.
The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming. They met us in person for check-in, which was a nice touch and made
everything smooth from the start.
We had a car for one night, and while the area is mostly resident parking from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM, we managed to find a few 2-hour parking spots a few blocks away until 6pm. Then could park overnight there.
Perfect place for our short stay.
Overall, a comfortable and well-located basement level flat with excellent service. Bathrooms had no ventilation
- SALMAN (9/5): -
- Olivia (7/5): Pleasant stay in good location - The location was amazing, so close to transport and the city. Check in was very easy, and they were quick to respond and help if we needed. The bedrooms are large and having two bathrooms is great. The blinds don't work except one in the front room. We didn't realize it was a basement apartment. The bathrooms had no ventilation and got very steamy and hot and were a tight squeeze. One of the bedrooms smelt very damp.
- Lyn (5/5): - The property is located a short walk from the tube station making it very convenient to get around all of London. The area was very quiet and pleasant to walk around in. The apartment had a well-equipped kitchen area, and the cupboard space in the rooms were very generous. Accessing the keys and handing them back was very convenient and easy. Communication with the host was all electronic and the interaction was very cordial and friendly. This property had a number of "quirks" which did not work for our group. The mattress in the one room was oversized for the bed frame resulting in very uncomfortable nights for our tall friend. It is better to accurately advertise the bed frame size and not just place a larger mattress on the small frame. This felt very under-handed to us. The apartment was very dark by virtue (we assumed) of it being accessed by walking down a set of stairs, but we felt that paying attention to bulb wattage and light fitting positioning could have alleviated some of the discomfort. The bathrooms are very narrow and just an uncomfortable size to do things in them. But if you do not have tall people, fat people or fussy people in your group, this apartment is well located!!
Nejde moc vyvětrat a chtělo by to nové matrace.
y restaurantes a 10 minutos a pie.
Es una zona muy tranquila, perfecta para viaje en familia o con amigos....
La anfitriona y la manager del edificio estuvieron muy amables. Uno de los baños tiene un lavabo muy bajo y pequeño , lo cual es incómodo para las personas muy altas....
- Wing Chuen Vanessa (2/5): - Veena was a great manager. Although there were some missing aspects that could make our stay more comfortable (initial lack of fans during a heatwave) Veena tried her best to deliver them the next day to attempt to give us the best stay. Unfortunately the state of the property is appalling. There is black mould throughout, and an unbearable musky smell that permeates throughout the apartment. The apartment is advertised as on the first floor, but is in the basement. The listing implies that the property is in South Kensington, but it is actually in Earls Court. The listing also advertises 3 beds, however, the sofa bed is completely unusable, although Veena organised a mattress topper for the second night although this did not help. Luckily, we had camping gear so slept on a sleeping mat on the floor albeit with a ground sheet due to cleanliness concerns. Many facilities and appliances were broken, perhaps most poignantly, the rear doors opening to public areas did not lock. Our first point of contact when checking into the apartment was Grazy, and Grazy did not substantially speak English.
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (7/5): Good location to travel into Central London. Comfortable property, but bathrooms very small - Not Applicable Tiny Bathrooms
- Ruth (7/5): Enjoyed the space in the apartment and 5 minutes walk from underground.ideal location - Ideally located for our visit. Clean with large rooms Building being renovated so some noise and untidy areas at the front. Some areas poorly finished, drawers not closing etc
- Genius (5/5): Basement flat that needs major maintenance. - The location was good near Earls court subway station. Very old flat located in the basement. The bathroom is so small I believe it’s less than 1 meter by 3meters. There is no space where you can keep your soup or tooth brush. There is mold in the bathroom ceiling. Kitchen wear is very old and not of good quality. The beds aren’t comfortable at all.
- Anonymous (5/5): Family visit to London - The apartment location in Earls Court is great. Kitchen is great and has everything you need. Nice sofa .
Veena and Laura were great to help us so thanks to you both for your great service. The apartment is in need of repairs. The internet is not up to modern standard. One bathroom is newly renovated but the on-suite is in terrible shape. We can see that there is work being done on the house and this apartment needs some help.
- Arrietty (8/5): Very good -
- Begoña (10/5): Great stay!! - The apartment was in a great location! It was really close to Earls Court tube station. The apartment was big and clean and there were few amenities like a coffee machine.
Communication with Julio and Veena was really easy and we had no issues at all to collect the keys.
Would recommend :)
- Matthew (10/5): Excellent location in a safe neighbourhood make this a wonderful option for families looking to enjoy London. - Very spacious apartment, well appointed and in a terrific location. Being steps away from the tube and groceries was very convenient and a great location to base our London trip out of. The management is excellent, Julio was there to greet us and was very helpful and responds within minutes to texts. Great stay, would highly recommend.
- Sims (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic service very accommodating
Location amazing ear store and tube
Quiet neighborhood
- Jessica (9/5): Lovely apartment, great location. - Absolutely lovely apartment, all rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Location of the apartment is also great due to being very close to the train station. The stairs going down to the apartment are steep which is a bit of a hassle getting large suitcases down and up but other than that the apartment is great.
- Krisztina (9/5): Highly recommended, nice host and very good location. - The neighborhood was very nice, a big Tesco 5 minutes' walk away, as well as a metro station. The host is helpful and kind. I can only recommend it.
- Cam (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Marcela (10/5): Best election - The flat is spacious, very well furnished and with a perfect location. The staff is exceptional, we really felt very welcome. It was the best choice we could have made. We had a problem with Booking.com as we booked two flats for a total of 4 people each, but when we arrived there was only one flat available. Booking did not solve the problem, in fact it was very difficult to talk to them and they never contacted me back to see if we had a place to sleep, it was a stressful situation at a time when you want to be able to relax and get out and about. We are very grateful to the staff of this property as they helped us find a solution even though it was not their fault, they even contacted us with a nearby hotel to get us last minute rooms.
- Claudia (9/5): Superb - raduci il testo con la fotocamera
beautiful house with splendid garden, close to the metro. excellent hospitality. To improve, absolutely change the mattress because it is spring-loaded and too soft.
- María (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clare (7/5): Lovely stay with a couple of caveats - We had a lovely stay with a couple of caveats. The location was excellent: a very short walk to Earl’s Court tube station but the train noise was minimal from the apartment — a rare combination! It was central to everything in London and great being on the Piccadilly line for access to Heathrow and St Pancras station. The apartment was very well equipped with everything that we needed and had plenty of space. It was warm and safe and the owner was friendly. The garden out the back was also superb. Picturesque with a little playground and lots of running around space for the kids. The WiFi was terrible; it would have been more accurate to advertise the property without WiFi. For me it dropped off almost immediately after connecting every time.
Secondly, while I understand this is out of the property’s control, we could hear every creak of the floor from the upstairs neighbour. This would have been fine except that it was mostly at night time. The noise died down around midnight and then started up again from 1.30am-2.30am every night.
- Gilbert (9/5): Superb -
- Melissa (7/5): Good - Great location to tube in a beautiful area The bed wasn’t comfortable and we had three adults and the foldout bed in the lounge room is too hard to sleep in.
- Marie-claude (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (8/5): Great location, nicely furnished. - Ultra convenient, great welcome, very nicely furnished. Second bed not so comfy.
- Gordon (8/5): Well located flat in Central London with good local amenities but they need to sort out the wifi. - Location was perfect on a quiet one way street very close to the Tube station and local amenities. Connection with District and Piccadily lines to Central London was very easy. Julio was really helpful. Wifi signal was poor and given that there was no terrestrial tv channels this made watching Netflix etc very challenging and frustrating. Neighbours above were quite noisy.
- Nur (10/5): Amazing and perfect stay - The location is just superb. Near to the Earl’s Court station, which also a station to Picadilly line thus making our journey to Heathrow airport less of a hassle. Also, Tesco is just around the corner. We were able to buy our groceries conveniently. The flat is spacious and clean, I really like the size of each room and also the living room. It really felt like home. There are 2 bathrooms, though the size are a bit small, but this was no big deal. It functioned as it should. The heating and hot water worked perfectly (though on the first night it somehow went faulty but it got fixed IMMEDIATELY!!). Overall, me and my family really enjoyed our stay.
Just a bit of additional information - the property is in ground floor which means you’d need to carry all your luggage down the stairs, it’s not a big deal actually but if you are with a lot of luggage (and heavy), you’d need a bit of patience and energy! A refundable deposit of £200 (or £30 non-refundable/£5 fee sorry can’t remember) will be charged for the stay.
Last but not least, kudos to the host, Veena and the housekeeper, Julio! Great communication all the way. And Julio was very welcoming, helped us with our luggage, attended to my queries/requests (especially when the heating was not working), it was fantastic. Definitely will consider this place again for my future visit. Thanks Veena and Julio for the hospitality! The water pressure and shower head could be improved. But it’s no big deal.
- Jo (10/5): Spacious, well-situated, superb flat. We will be back! - Location ideal - close to tube and train with several good restaurants and super Tesco nearby; flat much larger than expected. The jacuzzi tub in master suite and garden in back extra special bonuses!
- Fatin (8/5): We are greatly happy and hope to come again soon. - We love the area, really quiet and
easy access to bus and underground station. The place was spacious, well equipped, and cozy. The owner and manager were super friendly and helpful. I truly recommend family to stay here. And it is great for long stay too. No dryer for clothing but they did prepare the hanging rack, so no issue.
- Shiao (6/5): Pleasant - Spacious bedrooms and living room.
The big sofa bed was a bonus for my son. Weak wifi. Not very stable, and almost unconnectable in the rooms. We ended up gathered around the living room when we needed internet.
Bathrooms quite small and cramped for space.
- Rosemary (9/5): Very good all round apart from the damage deposit process - Great apartment - very convenient for Earls Court tube. Very comfortable cosy and spacious - home away from home. Kitchen well equipped. Close to supermarkets which would be good for a longer stay. Host was available and responsible as well as very welcoming We were not aware of the security deposit being taken or that we would be charged for that process - either £30 or £6 if we allowed a deposit for £300 to be charged to our card and returned in 7-10 days. It may be in the write up of the property but it was not clear and seemed to be steep for a 2 night stay.
- Fiona (8/5): Really comfortable, easily accessible & enjoyed staying. - The amount of space. Very clean. Building manager was super lovely & really accommodating. Easy transport links. Owner touched base frequently, ensuring we were ok. Basic amenities available like; dishwasher & washing machine. Would very much stay here again. How noisy the upstairs neighbours were. Bit dark due to being in the basement, & some areas could do with updating/replacing. Beware of the stairs, going down, when wet. Also, surprise safety deposit/waiver, but speaking to the owner sorted this out, because it wasn't mentioned in the listing.
- Sue (9/5): Excellent location, comfortable beds, very quiet for London, good shower; would stay again. - Location only 3 mins from Earls Court tube but it is so very quiet - we could not hear traffic due to gardens out back and street being a loop and bedroom in basement helped too. We heard no street noise at all in 7 nights. Beds large and very comfortable.nice linen. Living area large for London/spacious for 3 people for a week; kitchen well equipped if you want to cook; good washing machine; 2 bathrooms with 2 toilets and 2 bedrooms meant it worked well for our family; Great shower pressure; friendly communications with staff via emails and WhatsApp. I will definitely try to book to stay here again. In London all bathrooms are usually small, so this is not a negative, but people booking need to be aware the flat's 2 bedrooms and living area are very spacious, while bathrooms are usual regulation small.
- Maja (9/5): Enjoyed it! - The apartment is very spacious, clean, and well-equipped.
- Alarig (7/5): Good - The location is great close to tube supermarket and multiple restaurant The beding could be better
- Titus (10/5): It's was relaxing mid-term week for us, and the environment was its elixir of a sound mind . - Bed makes a lot of tweaking noises, but apart from that , it's worth every penny spent. We would go there again anytime .
