• Nicola (7/5): - Fabulous location both for old Montreal and within walking distance of the Congress centre for the exhibition. Close to some great cafes and bars. The apartments are beautifully decorated and it was a nice place to come back to after a long day at work. The mattress was a bit soft, for a night it was fine, but after a few nights and then a week - it was starting to get quite uncomfortable.
• monica (10/5): Great location, many in room amenities and very clean. - My very large room had everything I needed. Slippers, robe, kitchenette, etc. The room was modern and had big windows. It was close to everything in Old Town Montréal. I particularly liked the keyless entry to the building and room. No fumbling around with a key card. I only stayed two nights before continuing my journey to Quebec City. I’ll probably return to Montréal at some point and would love to stay at Maison Saint-Vincent again.

• Pavithra (8/5): Great value for money. I would highly recommend this for solo travelers. - That it is very centrally located. Everything is walking distance away. I loved how it had a kitchen and a laundry as well. It can get noisy on weekends with live music being played just 200?feet away from the property. Hard to take an afternoon nap.

• MARTA (10/5): Amazing apartment in a very good location, hugely recommendable. - The apartment was extremely good: very comfy, all new furniture, bathroom amazing. The staff was very helpful and 100% available through WhatsApp. Location was great, closed to many restaurants, bars and a walking distance to Notre Dame. Amenities available such as bathrobes, umbrellas and slippers were a bonus! To mention something not so good, the bed sofa was not entirely comfortable (the main bed was amazing though!)

• Joaquinceb18 (9/5): Ultra warm, very cozy and boutique standards met. We will be back on our next Montreal visit - First time in Montreal! The place was very cozy and spotless. The hotel is actually very warm during the winter which we appreciated a lot. The staff are always in touch with you through messages and concierge are very kind and always willing to help! Some people mentioned noise in comments, which is somewhat true. But thats a reality in ALL major cities in the world. During the winter is not loud as theres not many people driving or walking so we are indifferent and nothing to complain about. The hotel offer earplugs in the amenities baskets which is a nice touch.

Also the ease of getting in with the codes. There were some strange buzzing noises in the wall sometimes and not much of a noise barrier to the hallway. Not a big deal though, because we brought a noise machine!

• Carol (10/5): Great stay in Old Montreal. - Great location. Very close to everything we wanted to see in Old Montreal. The room was very clean, modern and comfy. The room included a kitchen with small fridge, microwave, sink, and some dishes & cookware. Very easy to enter the hotel and our room with the door codes provided ahead of our arrival. We were also able to use the laundry facilities free of charge. We had a short walk to the hop on-hop off bus tour so we could see other parts of Montreal as well. No elevator, although we knew that prior to booking. Was only an issue while bringing in and taking out our luggage. Some explanation of how to operate the thermostat/heat/ air conditioning controls would have been helpful. We did finally figure it out our 2nd day there. Didn't really care for the expresso machine- would have preferred a Keurig or standard coffeepot. Breakfast not included, but plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby.

• Cugnet (7/5): très bel établissement, mais déçue par les "non prestations" - L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter le vieux Montréal, les chambres sont spacieuses. La cuisine collective est bien équipée. chambre réservée pour 4 avec 1 lit et un canapé lit. le canapé lit n'était pas déplié et nous avons du chercher dans tous les placards les draps, oreillers, couettes et housse de couette (que nous avons du installer nous-même). Nous avons appelé le numéro indiqué dans la chambre car il n'y avait de linge de toilette que pour 3 personnes, mais nous n'avons pas été entendus.

• Sydni (9/5): Charmant et paisible - L’appartement est énorme et très bien situé à Vieux-Montréal ! Le lit est super confortable, avec des draps très douces. Les instructions de check-in étaient super claires et faciles à suivre. Et finalement, les fenêtres sont étonnantes et j’adore les rideaux roses !! Il est pas mal sombre dans la cuisine/à la table : une lumière en haut de la table ferait une grande différence. Le micro est très haut et la plupart de ses boutons semblent ne pas fonctionner (sauf start et cancel). Et puis les serviettes de bain sont pas mal petites/courtes (et moi je ne suis pas grande du tout) !

• Zoë (4/5): They need to make some changes to make this a great hotel experience. - This is an extremely honest review. I really wanted to like this hotel— the rooms are super cute and spacious, pretty clean, and it’s a good location. I come to MTL often and was looking for an easy go-to hotel, but I just did not have a good experience, primarily related to the “virtual” front desk. The property is in the Old Port, which is a relatively nice area but on the first night of my stay, a man who made me feel very uncomfortable started following me (around 9 pm on a weekday) and was clearly trying to get into the lobby with me. I had all my stuff, was trying to figure out the key pad, nothing around was really open, and in order to get him to stop following me I had to walk around (he continued to follow me, even hiding behind cars when he realized I noticed) and then actually had to wait in the hotel across the street until it felt safe. I tried to leave later in the evening to find some food but when I came downstairs he was still outside, watching through the glass front door (unsettling). If he had come in behind me, it could have been a super unsafe situation, which left me feeling rattled. There is no one to help you, and the room codes are kind of difficult to enter. The next issue was that they somehow lost the last night of my week-long booking, and were texting me in the middle of the night telling me I needed to pay for the room again because the last night had been allegedly cancelled (very scammy feeling and anxiety- generating) and not great to not go to bed not knowing if I needed to frantically book another night somewhere else. Booking was showing active everywhere and eventually (after tons of screenshots) the issue was resolved, but when you have a day full of meetings it’s not fun to be dealing with this (via text) because they refuse to call you. The last issue wouldn’t have been a big deal if other things had gone better— but the room wasn’t overly clean. A lot of small issues that became big issues due to the “virtual” front desk situation.
