Guest Reviews
- Joshua (1/5): Possible scam - I could not access the property, and the owner would not pick up the phone. I did not manage to stay at the property at all.
- Jaunrubene (5/5): Passable - Breakfast was not provided. I was disappointed because at 11:00 a.m. I was informed that the booked accommodation was closed. I was offered another accommodation. It was much further from the center of London.
- Elnura (1/5): Bad - They lied to us, they are scammers! They sent us a video, we went there, and the house wasn't there. we needed apartment 102, but there was nothing like what was shown in the video👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
- Brooks (1/5): It’s a scam. - This property was a scam. Do not book it. Everything was great until my arrival date. Host went dark. I showed up to the property and it was being remodeled. The neighbors said the host had scammed other people. Don’t know how it’s still on the Booking.com site.
- Pawan (2/5): Very poor -
- Nikolay (9/5): Superb -
- Ginis (7/5): Good -
- Khan (1/5): Horrible night stay in my life - The only thing we like is the location No cleanings done. There was a lot of hair on the bedding and on the floor. The house was smelly. The toilet was disgusting.
- Sam (1/5): We didn’t even stay there in the end had to book another hotel because the place was dirty and no bed sheets - Nothing Everything
- Akshay (5/5): Passable -
- Marjeena (8/5): Very good -
- Vincent (1/5): Shit. - I don’t know, I wasn’t able to get in. I wasn’t able to get in.
- Andreea (3/5): Poor -
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Jayden (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jenny (7/5): Tucked away but homely. - Nice space, had everything you'd need and a homely feel
In a nice area of London, the walk from the tube was about 25mins but through areas that you didn't have to keep on high alert. St Katherine's docks were also very pretty at night and I felt fine walking through in the dark at 9:30pm
The video of how to get into the flat and what it looked like from the outside was very clear. The directions to get there could have been better. Matilda house is a massive complex and this and where it was in that wasn't really specified. (Anyone whose reading this it's off Burr close, which doesn't have a road name on it but is marked in Google maps) .Luckly the complwx itself has a clear numbering system.
While pretty clean there were small things like that could have been a bit cleaner, the washing up sponge looked as if it had died and been resurrected and the oven shelf hasn't been cleaned.
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (9/5): Excellent - Had no breakfast..overnite stay everything excellent N/A
- Karan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donald (5/5): HONEST REVIEW - It is at a good location. The number of people it accommodates when it has only one toilet. The other room had 5 people at a point making it 7 people sharing a toilet and bathroom. The only wall sockets in the room is far away from the bed, the light switch is close to the door and none available at the bedside. The kitchen utensils could use a make over( pans are rusted). The shower is funny. Good location but the apartment needs a makeover. The pillows are hard as a rock. No bin in the rooms, toilet and kitchen. The fridge makes terrible noise. A little investment in the apartment will be nice and worth it as it is in a good location.
- Rebecca (5/5): Passable -
- Jan (5/5): I wouldn't stay there again unless there was vast improvements with the things mentioned, - The location and comfortable bed. The internet non existent. Absolutely atrocious. This was very disappointing as I needed good internet as I did not have my own. The window in one bedroom was cracked and urgently needs attention. for security These was no power point near the bed. These was no bedside lamp near the bead. These is no hanging space for clothes. Hard to get into the room lock - the other tenant show me how t open the lock
- M (5/5): Passable - Property was not so clean
- Lujania (7/5): Good - Good location, easy to reach, it is walking distance to Towe Bridge and all tourist attractions in the Southbank.
The room is a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The shower room wasn't to my liking, it looks like needs attention and to be fixed.
- Michelle (5/5): Passable. This is student accommodation being let - Location was great, it was passable for clean but not home from home standards. The fridge needs to be looked at asap.
We weren’t able to have this on due to the heat it gave off and the noise.
The sink tap is also leaking when in use and needs to be repaired.
There is also a crack in the back bedroom window that needs repair.
The shelves located near the beds are lethal. I have a nasty cut to my head as they just aren’t located well.
- Justin (6/5): Can’t argue for that price. I would stay there again. Had trouble getting in but the host was very helpful and had it so - The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Good water pressure on the shower Shower head wasn’t easy to get to stay up
- Owen (1/5): Absolute disgrace. Horrible place. Terrible comms from the owners. Very rude. Place is unsafe and disgusting - Absolute disgrace. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Terrible communications. Unsafe area. Horrible place Everything. Horrible place. DO NOT STAY HERE
- Boateng (10/5): Exceptional -
- Urszula (10/5): Amazing location - Great location! No wifi:3
- Chaouki (1/5): Bad -
- Gerardo (2/5): Heater out of order, non hot water, 100% indifference from landlord. Never again - The position Heater not working, no hot water. Landlord contacted various time he did nothing saying it was house keeper job
- Joshua (1/5): Instructions to enter were for the wrong property. I spent in hours in the cold and never got in. - Do not rent! I was unable to enter the flat, the landlord was unreachable, and booking.com kept my payment anyway.
The instructions to enter the flat were in the form of a YouTube video for am entirely different property, which showed a lockbox that didn't exist at the actual property. I walked around the property for hours but was unable to enter, and eventually spent the night on a friend's couch instead. The owner of the property never picked up the phone, didn't respond to voicemails, and didn't respond to messages on booking.com. To add insult to injury, booking.com closed my complain and kept my money.
- Moses (10/5): The Place is Amazing & Super good and you will like it especially The location & Supermarket 🤩. - Location, comfortability & thoroughly Washing machine Not working & Need to be cleaned though
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointed. - Good location Difficult to find, felt unsafe due to door lock being a very easy code, Unable to get hold of owner, walls were not sound proof there was no privacy, was not just a shared bathroom as advertised it was a shared bathroom, kitchen and dining room.
- Rekawt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Virendrasinh (1/5): Bad -
- Jennifer (1/5): Scam - This listing is a scam- the accommodation does not exist
- Benjamin (6/5): Pleasant - Bedroom was clean and comfortable and facilities were good. Would be a decent place to stay for a few nights if you're planning on that but a hotel would be better for a short stay. Found it really hard to access the accommodation, the code was pretty hard to find and using the keypad on the door was confusing.
- Jaspal (10/5): Exceptional - nobody reply your message
