Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): -
- Joanne (7/5): Good - Space People upstairs noisy steps
- Aneta (9/5): - Stosunek jakości do ceny, okolica, stan obiektu. Szybka reakcja właściciela na uwagi i prośby. Troszkę utrudniony kontakt - brak możliwości kontaktu przez WhatsApp, mimo wcześniejszej informacji o takiej możliwości. Niewygodna kanapa w salonie.
- Mark (10/5): - Spacious good design. Could use a little more thought into the kitchen with more thought into the utensils.

- Guest (6/5): Ok - Host’s response time especially for check in instructions I had to follow up multiple times infact till last moment before check in time.
Also, there was a noise upstairs till late night on first day even though rules had quiet time from 11pm. Was it only applicable for lower suite???
- Caio (3/5): Dirty, not a legal suite - Location It’s not a legal suite, so we didn’t have our own door that we could lock from people upstairs. It felt people could come down. So we didn’t feel the safest. Also, there were holes on the blanket. The dishes were dirty. A mug was broken. Yellowed bed cover. And just not cleaned in general.
- Lisa (1/5): - Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay here as they canceled as I was asking for address to go to place. They said due to a plumbing issue that could not be fixed quickly.
It left me a single mom and sonnwothiut a place to stay thay night.
I spoke with the host, crying, and thats how I got my money refunded back via emt. Otherwise, it had to go thru booking agency and take days.
Ended up sleeping in my car
- Louise (1/5): Horrible!!! - Should I like that I had been asked for a photo id after card was charged, in order to get the instruction for the property? ---No!
I should have got the hint right away that this is a scam!!! Now the anxiety level is raised to the roof! When we got to this property, there were 3 men approached us and said they have rented the place and that we have to go away. As a normal person in an uncharted teritory will do--we did ended up looking for another place to stay to survive the night.
We contacted the property owner (David) and he implies that we should have insisted our way on staying. This is after all our effort of explaining to him that we did not feel safe at all given this incident, specially when we have a little kid with us.
I hope no one else will get to experience this very horrible experience renting this property!!!
- Chantal (8/5): Very good - Good located. Good price. Would recommend the owner. The toilet seat is too low for my elderly Mom. Also, a second bed side table would be nice.
- Kiaya (6/5): Pleasant - Great location close to a park for our little. It was clean, towels, extra blankets and a heater were provided. Futon was uncomfortable and wasn't really sturdy. Table lamp on desk was dead (not end of the world). Bed wasn't over comfortable and it looked like someone forced the door open.
Another not end of the world, the hot water took forever and there's no plug for the bathtub.

- Anonymous (9/5): We had a fantastic stay. The apartment was neat and ventilation was great. We will visit again! - Excellent location, walkable distance to stores e.g. 7-Eleven, Pharmacy, Restaurants - and playground. The apartment is quite spacious, neat and the ventilation system was great. The host provided a parking space which made our stay more comfortable. The living room couch is not comfortable for sitting nor sleeping for long hours. This is the only reason for the 9/10 rating, it would have been 10/10 😊
- Lachlan (3/5): Poor -
- Smith (10/5): Clean and comfy - It was great. We would book again It was good
- Caroline (9/5): short and sweet -
- Annalyn (8/5): Very good -

- George (10/5): Nice modern apartment in Seton, a suburb southeast of downtown Calgary. - We stayed two nights in David’s Suite and it immediately felt like home. We’re on a long cross country road trip, this was an opportunity to spread out, relax, and explore a little bit of Calgary. (We were reluctant to leave this morning, but family is expecting us to arrive soon in Minnesota!). David is easily accessible by text and telephone and an excellent host.
It’s a big space at the basement level of a three story detached building. Be aware hat you need to walk down so,e stairs. A great kitchen, comfortable bed, big television it’s easy to make yourself feel at home here. We also found a nearby Costco and Tesla supercharger.
Traffic and parking in Downtown Calgary is a big challenge. A bus stop is about a mile away from this apartment, you can Catch a ride from Seton to downtown Calgary for about $3. We tried it … but discovered too late that it’s a local bus, subject to detours and delays. No negatives, we would stay here again.
- Michael (5/5): Noisy tenants above! - It was ok but had some concerns regarding the cleanliness of the bedding. Noise from the Indian family upstairs, they were very inconsiderate.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Newer and Clean and full kitchen. A little far from everything and the people upstairs made noise on the floor til midnight.
- Yun (1/5): Very Disappointed, do not stay here if you need to sleep. - Big space, good kitchen. The tenant in the upper floor is really disrespectful and ignorant. Continuous stomping sounds for the whole night everyday. He walked so loudly that the ceiling would shake. We did not even get a night of peaceful sleep. Feedback provided to agent on the first night and twice more but the situation did not improve at all. Made our first visit to Calgary very frustrating and upsetting.
- Brenn (1/5): Bad - N/A There
- Shannon (10/5): 😊 - Very clean and comfortable bed and they are very accommodating people !!
- Jean (8/5): Very good - Brand new, impeccable, nice recent neighborhood but with character, located on Calgary periphery. Strongly recommend if distance to downtown is not a criteria.
- Megumi (6/5): Pleasant - Location , bland new building Bed was terrible…. Bed frame made a creaking noise and mattress had a big dent in the middle ….
- Alicia (10/5): Exactly as described, great value for money, easy to communicate with host. - location, cleanliness, coziness
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional - Great host. Beautiful place.
- Shauny (10/5): Amazing and awesome great location great suite great management. - This place was excellent! 10/10. The location is really great. The property was super clean and organized and had lots of stuff available to use! The property manager is FANTASTIC....they communicate fast and help you with anything! AWESOME 💯 experience. Would definitely book again! Nothing.
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iryna (6/5): Pleasant - bad bed
- Roya (1/5): My worst experience with booking! - Nothing! Well, I am sharing my most shocking experience with booking for over 9 years of using it.
I did not get instructions for checking in and had to ask the property. I sent a message at 4:15pm. They replied that I have to send my photo ID’s picture to a personal cell phone, which I never do. I asked them to come and see it in person if they require so. They said I should wait for 2 hours. I contacted costumer service 5-6 times to resolve this, it didn’t help and I, with a toddler waited there on the street from 7:30-9 pm. Lastly the property told me I should video call them and show my ID! I asked how and they did not reply! No one showed up to let me in and I had to find another place for me and my kiddo. I asked the customer service to cancel it and refund me because it didn’t make sense. I must’ve been able to check in any time between 3-11pm without any problems. They said property should approve your refund and the property didn’t! After multiple follow ups from customer service I got refund at 2am next day!
There was nothing on the policy that I have to do anything. It was simply saying the property will send check in instructions which never happened.
It ruined my vacation and was a huge waste of time.
I would give 0 score if I could.
- Shima (10/5): Exceptional -

- Werner (9/5): Whether you're a traveler passing through or looking for a peaceful retreat, consider Seton! - My recent stay exceeded all expectations, and I'm thrilled to share my positive experience. This hidden gem of a accommodation provided a delightful stay while traveling in Calgary. The property was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, with modern amenities that ensured a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The attention to detail, from the cozy bedding to the well-appointed bathroom, truly elevated the overall experience. The kitchen is also fully equipped to for those interested in skipping the restaurant and cooking a meal at home. There was nothing in the property that contributed in a negative manner towards my stay. I would just suggest to consider adding a bed-side lamp in the bedroom, and maybe a coat hanger at the entrance.
- Shane (8/5): Very good -
