• Maggie (5/5): Enjoyable location, would stay again! - Beautiful location and very comfortable size Cleaning wasn’t up to scratch, The spa was on the post but was not available for use, and we where told that it was not in the listing but as per photos attached, says definitely, And being asked to mop as you vacate the property is a lot to ask for the price you pay and the fact that we left it cleaner then what we entered into. The beds are over used and due for a change.

• Patricia (8/5): beautiful lake-side stay at Lake Bennett - The location was wonderful, so close to the water and very quiet. The facilities were good - lovely to have teapot and quite unusual! The owner was very responsive to questions and requests. It would be useful to have a clear description of the facilities, particularly what can and cannot be used among the kayaks/boats. The TV did not work and although the owner tried to help it could not be fixed, this was not a major problem for us. The aircon in the bedroom to the right of the outside door did not always work; we did not report at the time as our guests only told us as we left. It is really essential to have something like a plunger to make coffee in. It would be a challenge to accommodate more than 6 adults, but possibly OK for extra young kids.

Had friends that stayed here a few weeks earlier so it's clearly just not available for use even though it's pictured on the listing. Small things missing in the kitchen like tea towels, bins bags etc. which I wasn't happy with considering the price.

• Joanna (5/5): No Help or Support, No Air Conditioner in Build Up, paying to do Housework on Holiday - The location was good. The accommodation was spacious with lots of water equipment. Having to do housework on holiday, sweeping and mopping the floors. Air conditioner in the top end build up and TV didn’t work, the glass sliding door squealed like nails on a blackboard. The contact number for the host didn’t work, no help or support at all. Expensive when things don’t work and you have to do all the cleaning before leaving with a contact number that doesn’t work.

Check in time changed from 12 to 1400 whilst we were travelling there so cleaner was still cleaning when we arrived and weren't sent the access code. On the booking.com confirmation it said the spar was included but it was inaccessible. Building works were going on at the side and looked messy.
