Petite visite des lieux, de la chambre et partage des principaux centres d’intérêts de Bogota à faire le lendemain ! Nous étions que deux dans cet hostel car c’est une période peu touristique en Colombie ! Nous recommandons cet hôtel, très bon rapport qualité/prix, confortable + avec un billard en terrasse. Rien, tout était parfait 👍🏼

Regis (9/5): Muito boa. - O Host foi maravilhoso e bastante flexível. A localização é boa (apesar de ter de andar um pouco para chegar na praça Simon Bolívar). O ambiente é aconchegante (sem necessidade de luxos). A conservação do local e a limpeza são impecáveis.
Irene (9/5): Perfect stay in Bogota with very friendly host - We highly enjoyed our 3 night stay in Bogota. Alex was super friendly and helpful. He gave great recommendations and organized a taxi for us. Also we could do our laundry, which was very useful. The terrace had great view over the city and even a pool table. Everything was super clean. Overall, highly recommend this place

Pia (7/5): - Ruhige Lage, sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Betreiber. Man ist zu Fuß in ca. 15-20 min in La Candelaria mit Cafés und Restaurants. Schöne Dachterrasse und Gartenteil. Alles war sauber, allerdings ein leicht feuchter/ schimmeliger Geruch im Schlafzimmer (das Gebäude ist schon älter). Das Bett war entsprechend gefühlt auch etwas „feucht“. Die Dusche/ das Bad werden gemeinschaftlich genutzt; hier gibt es wenig Möglichkeit für Ablage oder um sich umzuziehen - damit hat man bei den Waschgelegenheiten wenig Privatsphäre.

Guest (10/5): Great space, extraordinary host, great location! - The host was extraordinarily helpful, and even walked us around the nearby neighborhood. The space is beautiful and is able to accommodate a large group without feeling crowded. It is close to many museums and other tourist attractions. There weren't enough pots and pans, but that could be easily remedied. Visitors should be aware that there are small changes in the level from room to room, which could represent a fall risk if you don't pay close attention, but automatic lights go on and off and this is very helpful.

Sarah (10/5): Great for visiting Bogota! - We absolutely loved staying here and would come back any time when returning to Bogota. The host is so welcoming and made our stay and also introduction to Colombia really easy. Thanks to him we had an amazing day in Bogota. The beds are comfortable, the shower was nice, the room was spacious and the terrace was a lovely place to hang out! Would maybe be a bit hard to find new friends if solo travelling

Dimitar (9/5): Location provides opportunity to explore all the landmarks in old Candelaria by foot. - The hosts are extremely attentive and friendly, providing exceptional hospitality. Alex and his sister are always available to help and to answer all your questions and needs. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom shower in the room is weird. You need to press shower knob hard and consistently, otherwise water stops running. No dial to adjust temperature.

Elliott (10/5): Fantastic home that will be the stepping stone to an authentic experience in Bogotá. - I loved being right by the action in La Candelaria. If I had more time to enjoy the property the rooftop would've been exceptional. I was well oriented to the neighbourhood by our kind host. Would absolutely stay here again. Hard to find a critique of such a clean and peaceful home, but the shower doesn't run the same way you might be used to coming from North America. You have to hold down the button and then it will warm up slowly. You're not going to hang out in the shower forever as a result. When you see the area you will understand. This is not a problem but you should know this.
Sian (10/5): Exceptional - We loved staying at Casa Lourdes. It's in a great location on the edge of the historic and super lovely Candelaria area of Bogotá. It's easy to walk from the hostel to many of the main attractions and there are also good bus links. The hostel is a charming and quiet place, well equipped with a basic kitchen and nice showers. The best part is that Alex, the owner, is super friendly and super helpful, he gave us lots of great suggestions of things to see and do and also invited us to join his friends and family to watch the local football derby and for the Christmas Velitas celebrations.

Keeley (9/5): Wonderful house - a perfect spot for our family in Bogota! - This was a great place to stay for our family! We had a total of 6 people - one couple and 4 individuals - so it was great to have a whole house to ourselves! We were so happy with Alex and all the information he was able to give us; he was so welcoming and helpful! We loved having the kitchen space for breakfast and then the rooftop deck to hang out in the evenings. The view from the rooftop was incredible! We were also able to get taxis really easily and move around the city, but it's not a great location to walk from into town. The only thing that makes the location a little challenging is walking into town. We had to take taxis - which really only take three to four people, because they are all small! - to get into the museums or to restaurants because it's really not safe to walk. Getting taxis really wasn't a problem - Alex had a lot of great contacts for us - but it's just something to be aware of.
Enikő (10/5): Charming house and nice host - The guest house is a little piece of gem. Its built with attention to all small details and definitely has its charm. I had a warm welcome and the host Alexis really did everything he could do to make me feel home, feel safe and have fun. He pays special attention to all his guests and I m really grateful for all the care i got. If you want to experience real Colombian hospitality in a real Colombian house, I d recommend this place. The guest house is in Candelaria but a bit off the most touristic centre. This location has its advantage of being more authentic and less busy than the very centre, but you might consider to take an uber to come back at later hours. But its just so easy, too.

Federico (10/5): Super nice place to stay, I would recommend - Very nice owner, very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice, incredibly clean, price is very good and on top of that, it was an authentic colonial house, absolutely beautiful and very close to Candelaria. Unfortunately the water in the shower was not hot enough (I guess it was only a temporary problem) and the location is a bit dodgy at night, you have to be a bit careful, take a taxi/Uber, dont walk home late.
Garybedell (9/5): Explore local culture - Alex and his family are super hosts. They were very responsive to any needs or questions. The house has been restored very nicely. The shower is amazing with wonderful hot water. Very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, about a 10 minute walk to La Candelaria and very easy for getting to Monserrat. There is a convenience store only steps away and a small supermarket just across the street. I really enjoyed exploring the barrio and getting a real taste of life in Colombia. I made friends with the lady in the bakery and everyone was so kind. Much better than a hostel in the middle of the tourist area. If you want a comfortable stay and the opportunity to connect with local culture, Hostal Casa Lourdes is a great choice. The house is very luminous with an indoor patio, a garden and a rooftop. However, the luminosity also extends to the sleeping areas. If you need a dark room for sleeping you might bring a mask. Other than that a great stay.

Watson (9/5): I loved this place. It felt like a home away from home. - I loved the fact that it was like staying in a personal, typical house. There was a night where we were actually all alone. Wonderful! There is a nice out door space and a lovely terrace with a great view of city. The owner was very accommodating and w very helpful. There should maybe be a tv for guests in the communal area. Also there is still room for development on the terrace which is a great space. A pool table? Table football?
Russell (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the location just outside the Candelaria, away from the tourists and in a more "authentic" area. The back yard was GREAT for my dog and the views from the rooftop were amazing. The host is EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating. We'll stay here again!
