- Anthony (8/5): wse enjoyed our trip to cairns and surrunds, buit did niotice the issues. - easy access to keys/cards some hard furnishing items needed maintenance or replacing
- Regina (8/5): Home away from home - Location was ideal to Centrals and within walking distance to esplanade, restaurants and Rusty's markets. The owners were veey responsive to my queries. Excelllent views especially at New Years Eve fireworks. An off smell like spoilt milk from the fridge / electrical box (This was looked at by the owners). The wall across from the kitchen hallway had spilt stuff that my Mum ended up wiping down.
- Jenny (8/5): - The location was great. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

- Arthur (5/5): - The location was convenient and views were good. We expected a newly renovated apartment as listed but found it tired and needing a refresh (bathroom in particular). For the nightly rate it did not meet our expectations, unlike a subsequent apartment we stayed in elsewhere.

- Lisa (4/5): Location is ideal for access, but location isn't ideal if you want a comfortable sleep. - The apartment is well located. In the centre of Cairns. It is easy to get anywhere from this location, being across the road from the shopping centre made it ideal for going to the supermarket. We didn't use the bus, but there was a bus stop outside. The hosts are very responsive to any question or concerns - literally within a few hours, so they are certainly there to help make the trip what you expect. There was a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and laundry which was great. But don't put anything in the sink when washing, as the water drains into the sink. The bathroom had a lot of toiletries that made things easier, and the hosts do genuinely do the best they can do make the experience matter. In my instances, the issues I was having may have been somewhat difficult for the hosts to resolve but lets mention these anyway so next travellers can be more prepared than I. It was very noisy and stuffy. We were across the road from a backpackers hostel which was party all night every night. There were sirens every five minutes and some questionable street action. The rooms were quite stuffy and the place is spaced for 4 but not really. There is a large bed in one room and a pull out sofa in the other. With two adults, a teenager and a child, I had to get a blow-up bed to meet bedding requirements. It was stuffy - the fan was either low or high. Nothing in between (no, I am not Goldilocks, although I sound like it). But I couldn't open the windows or the door due to the sirens every five minutes. The room is high up so you can see the ocean but it made me uncomfortable that I couldn't lock the balcony door. With a sleepwalking child being so close to an exit that was easy to open, and a balcony that you could fall off, this was an issue for me. I slept across the back door on an air mattress. The room was set for 4 in the kitchen, but you had to wash after every meal. There were 4 plates, 3 bowls, 4 glasses. So while it came with a dishwasher and cleaning pods, I don't really like running that after each meal - but that had to happen. But thats just a personal preference and nothing about the dishwasher, although having a few more than 4 plates would be ideal. It took a while to get the internet working - the magnet on the fridge had the wrong details which wasted a few hours arguing with a magnet BUT The host fixed it in about five minutes by sending through the correct information (which I should have paid attention to the first time - my bad). The pool on the roof was good. It does have quite a loud noise and a rather odd smell (I would prefer not to delve too deep into that smell to be honest) but it was only there for the first two days, so lets assume that its not coming back. In short the comments about the place needing a revamp is right. There isn't really anywhere to store your things and it needs a clean up.
- Lance (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (5/5): Passable - Location was perfect and staff at front desk lovely.beds were very comfy. Rooms were very run down especially bathrooms. Could be helped with a paint or even commercial cleaners giving good scrub would help. Rooms hadn't been done when we arrived but that was our fault we were early but sorry even after cleaners had been it still could do with good going over.
- Barnes (10/5): Exceptional - Most comfortable mattress, I would love to know the make and model it was that good, according to my husband (I wasn't there ) they were very happy with the unit, location and overall booking. Pool could be opened longer hours
- Ofillia (8/5): Very good - Location was really good and good value for 3 night
