- Grigore Dragos (2/5): bad customer suport, fire alarm biping, dirty bathroom, cloged shower and sink, dust bunnies - The flat is 5 minutes walk from Shoredich club scene and Hoxton square. It has beautiful sun light both at dawn and sunset. Unfortunately when the sun hits just right is easy to see the place has not beeb swept, vacuumed or mopped.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything one need to cook and there a plenty of cleaning products. Fresh dishwasher sponge is a plus. The bed is very comfortable and the linen were clean and crisp. Than's about it. A lot of things could have been better. I had to clean the place before i opened my suitcase. I swept and i wiped the surfaces. Once i noticed the dust bunnies in all the corners i tool a closer look and the bathroom, the previous ocupant must have shaved and the were small bits of hair everywhere on the gray floor. Also the sink and shower pan were clogged. After a quick inspection a rather disgusting reality - each had hair bergs and gunk build up, especially the shower hence the lack of drainage when taking a shower. To this add the fact that the cord of the shower head has seen better days and was perforated at the connection and spritzing water in all directions. To top it all at arrival i noticed a familiar bip - the fire alarm had a low battery signal and was giving out a loud warning bip every 60 seconds. After calling the property managers, writing probably 10 emails or more over 3 days, a lot of gaslighting from them and frankly just utter disregard for what i was telling them none of the issues were resolved. I had to clean, unclog the shower and the sink and i had to sleep with the constant biping. They suggested i could buy a battery and replace it myself. I am a customer not payed maintenance staff i declined to fixed their problem. All this could have been a real good experience if their customer support would have read what i write and act in a diligent way to fix issues. Absolute robotic, uninterested customer support no common sense and brazen apologetic parlance but zero intention or capacity to actually help. Usually booking offers the option to post pictures but it seem now it's not the time. Hairball anyone?
- Kathryn (4/5): Disappointing - We didn't like the apartment as it smelt horribly damp and there were signs of mould on the sofa. We asked for an extra pillow for the sofa bed but were told to use a cushion. The hosts were quick to respond to messages and sent a kettle as there wasn't one there when we arrived
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional -
